The next day arrived, it was the night of the dinner.

She and Dominic marched into the living room of the Silvestri mansion. It was her first time there, so her heart raced, especially with the temperature change.
Her arm was linked with Dominic's as he held her close and walked her to the dining table where his family was seated like the perfect couple they were.
Dominic made eye contact with Caterina and a question instantly rose in his head.
'What is she doing here?' He wondered.
"Will you look at who decided to take his time before arriving?" Carlo commented, a scowl on his face.
