Navira's voice was slightly raised, making heads turn to her.
Filippo stood up and pulled her out of the restaurant.
"Will you stop yelling? There are people in that restaurant."
"Answer my question," Navira demanded.
"There's no need for me to."
Navira scoffed. "After everything we've been through, you're going to discard me and take back Delfina and her son? We have a daughter, Filippo!"
Unfortunately for her, Filippo was no longer in the mood to hear her voice.
He opened the door of his car and jumped in. "We will discuss this when I get home." Then he drove off.
Navira's fists clenched tightly by her sides, her manicured nails digging into her palm while her knuckles turned white.
All her years of hard work were about to go down the drain, but she wasn't going to let that happen.
