Delfina checked the time on her phone. It was already hitting 9pm. It was past bedtime for Gabriele and she needed to get to him quickly but Dominic was nowhere to be found.
She was standing at the entrance of the house after Caterina and Mrs. Silvestri tried to talk her down.
Her blood boiled in rage but instead of lashing out, she simply stood up and left for fresh air.
The mother was confusing, acting like she liked and hated her son all at the same time. As for Caterina, she didn't even know what the other one's problem was except for the fact that she was bitter she was Dominic's partner.
If only they knew they were just acting and all of it was fake.
Delfina sighed, checking the phone once again before glancing at the back inside.
"Should I call him or go back in here?" She wondered.
"Are you waiting for Dom?" She suddenly heard someone ask.
It was Marianna. Her son was no longer in her arms so Delfina concluded she already put the child to bed.
