He sighed in relief. Upon reaching her side, she noticed his presence and raised her head to look at the sudden intruder.
"May I sit with you?" He asked.
Delfina couldn't believe her eyes. He was standing right in front of her, wanting to sit with her.
Her mind wandered, wondering what he could possibly want to say to her. After a brief pause, she gave a curt nod.
Dominic took a seat, unsure how to start the conversation. He had too many questions in his mind, and an offer to make.
"Do you need anything?" Delfina asked, making him realize he had been quiet for too long.
Dominic cleared his throat before parting his lips to speak. "I'm sure you remember me from five years ago."
Delfina paused.
"What we had was a simple one night stand. You were drugged and I was horny," she said plainly. "There's no need to speak of it."
At first, she thought he was going to ask why Filippo had abused her the previous night. She was almost relieved he did not mention it.
