"I love you," Izack said softly, almost in a whisper.
There was no hesitation or embarrassment in his voice—only quiet sincerity reflected in his eyes.
"I don't expect anything in return," he continued. "Whether you accept me or reject me… my feelings won't disappear overnight, just as they didn't develop overnight."
Hiro quietly stared at him. He wanted to ask when. How. Why. When had Izack started looking at him that way? What had made him fall in love with someone like him? He also wanted to tell him that he was wasting his time. That loving him would only end in heartbreak.
Someone like Izack deserved an omega who could return his feelings wholeheartedly. Someone who could build a family with him, give him children, and offer him everything Hiro believed he never could.
