Chapter 5 - Chapter 005: Excitement & Hunger

Nightingale Ranch is a sprawling, luxurious estate owned by Seung-ho, worth over two hundred million. It spans hundreds of acres, featuring rolling hills, lush forests, and a crystal-clear lake. The ranch is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a massive mansion, stables housing elite horses, and various recreational buildings.

Despite its grandeur, Seung-ho keeps his ownership a secret, preferring to maintain a low profile. The ranch serves as his private sanctuary, a place where he can escape the pressures of his complicated life and indulge in his hobbies.

The shooting range at Nightingale Ranch is particularly impressive, boasting an indoor and outdoor course with targets at various distances. It's equipped with high-end firearms and top-notch safety measures, making it an ideal location for Seung-ho and Parker to practice their marksmanship skills.

The cabin where they are currently situated serves as the main building for the shooting range. It houses the registration desk, gun rental counter, and a lounge area where patrons can relax between rounds.

Two hours in the shooting range Parker felt much joy. Seung-ho was sitting and eating snacks while he talked to his system Pudding. When the door opened a group of people walked inside a rich heiress and heir siblings looked at Parker and Seung-ho.

"Hey you servants come and get us our waters and guns," Song Mu said. Seung-ho and Parker both ignored the rich people.

"You guys! Didn't you hear my sister! We are VIP here!" Song Wang snapped at them. Seung-ho just kept on eating on his snacks and watching small short dramas. Song Wang stormed over to slap Seung-ho but Parker movements were fast he kicked Song Wang in the stomach.

Song Wang doubled over in pain, gasping for breath. His siblings stared at Parker in shock, clearly not expecting such a bold move from a mere servant.

"You...you dare lay a hand on me?" Song Wang sputtered, his face red with humiliation and rage.

Parker stood tall, his expression cold and unapologetic. He stepped protectively in front of Seung-ho, who was calmly continuing to snack as if nothing had happened.

"I don't care who you are," Parker said firmly.

"No one touches him."

The heiress, Song Yuyu, looked between Parker and Seung-ho with newfound interest.

"I will get you guys fired," Song Yuyu said Seung-ho pulled out his lollipop and walked over. Song Yuyu and Song Wang were just third rate rich generation. But when they looked at Seung-ho they felt like he looked like someone.

"Hahah fire us?" Seung-ho said as he pointed his lollipop at the siblings and the other people.

"Do you know who we are?" Sophia snapped.

"Yeah you worthless idiots!" Another person said.

"Oh my gosh these people are nobodies."

"Wait a moment, why does he look like Jiang Tang," someone said.

"Holy shit he is the Young Master of the Jiang Family we are…"

Seung-ho moved closer to Parker and pulled him closer.

"Are they crazy? My name is Seung-ho not Jiang," Seung-ho said.

"Don't worry about them they are nutcase," Parker said. Seung-ho rolled his eyes and he crossed his arms.

"Stop you bunch of idiots, my name is Seung-ho."

"Oh my gosh! This person must have gotten plastic surgery," someone said. Seung-ho found that as insult.

"Surgery? Do I do get that? I am so flawless but didn't you say you will fire me?" Seung-ho asked. Song Yuyu walked over and tried to slap Seung-ho who caught her hand and slapped her.

{Damn it what bad luck forget it, let me slap her few more times.} Seung-ho thought once more and slapped her again.

"My father will get you fired!" Song Wang shouted. Parker laughed and stepped forward.

"Can he fire us? Plus we rented out this shooting range for the next eight hours and we have three more hours to ago," Parker said. Song Wang pointed at Seung-ho and Parker.

"Guards get them out!" Song Wang said.

Seung-ho grabbed Parker hand and dragged him away. When Seung-ho was outside he waved over the manager.

"Those people inside expel their VIP if they ask why, say the big boss is not happy," Seung-ho said.

The manager nodded solemnly, understanding the gravity of the situation. He quickly hurried back inside to deal with the troublesome VIPs.

Meanwhile, Seung-ho and Parker made their way back to the Jeep, Seung-ho's inner monologue bubbling with amusement and satisfaction.

{Oh, the looks on their faces when they realized who I was! Priceless! And that slap... it felt so good. Maybe I should start a 'Slap a Rich Idiot' challenge.}

Parker glanced at Seung-ho as they walked, a hint of admiration in his eyes.

"You handled that well," he said.

"Most people would have backed down or apologized."

Seung-ho just shrugged nonchalantly.

"Why should I apologize? They're the ones who were rude and disrespectful."

He paused for a moment, a mischievous glint in his eye.

"You know, I think I deserve a reward for my excellent performance back there."

Parker raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Seung-ho's sudden demand.

"And what kind of reward did you have in mind?"

"Parker I want food, you know me food, liquor makes me happy," Seung-ho said as he touched his stomach.

Seung-ho's stomach growled loudly, emphasizing his hunger. He looked up at Parker with pleading eyes, his lower lip jutting out in a pout.

"Please, Parker? I'm starving," he whined.

Parker sighed, knowing that Seung-ho's mood could turn sour if he didn't get his way. He glanced around the ranch, spotting a small café near the entrance.

"There's a café over there," he said, pointing in its direction.

"They should have something decent to eat."

Seung-ho's face lit up instantly, his pout disappearing as quickly as it had appeared.

"Yes! Let's go!" he exclaimed, grabbing Parker's hand and dragging him towards the café.

As they walked, Seung-ho's inner monologue was a mix of excitement and hunger.

{Finally! Food! I swear, if they don't have something good to eat, I'm going to complain to the manager. Or better yet, buy the whole place and fire everyone!}
