Chapter 4 - Chapter 004: Outing

Seung-ho nodded enthusiastically, his eyes lighting up with excitement.

"Yes, shooting! I heard there's a new range that just opened up downtown. It's supposed to be really high-tech and fancy."

Parker hesitated for a moment, considering the idea. He wasn't opposed to shooting ranges, but he knew Seung-ho's enthusiasm often led to trouble.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" he asked skeptically.

"You know how... impulsive you can be."

Seung-ho pouted, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Aww, come on Parker. Don't be such a buzzkill," he whined.

His inner monologue was a mix of persuasion and manipulation.

{Please say yes, Parker. I promise I'll behave... mostly. Besides, it'll be fun to see you handle a gun. I bet you're really good with your hands...}

"Okay."

"Awesome! We will go tomorrow!" Seung-ho said and walked to his room.

Seung-ho felt his narcolepsy acting up, a sudden wave of exhaustion washing over him. Without warning, his legs gave out and he collapsed onto the floor, his eyes fluttering closed.

"Seung-ho!" Parker exclaimed, rushing to his side. He gently shook the boy's shoulder, trying to rouse him.

"Hey, wake up. Come on, kid."

But Seung-ho was already fast asleep, his chest rising and falling steadily. Parker sighed and carefully lifted him off the floor, carrying him to his bedroom.

"He's always been like this," Parker muttered to himself as he tucked Seung-ho into bed.

"Sleeping at the drop of a hat."

He paused for a moment, looking down at Seung-ho's peaceful face. Despite his occasional recklessness and sharp tongue, there was something undeniably innocent about him when he slept.

"I swear, you're going to be the death of me," Parker whispered softly.

He turned off the lights and quietly exited the room, leaving Seung-ho to rest.

Seung-ho stood up and walked over to his closet, rummaging through his clothes. He pulled out a pair of black military-style jogger pants, a simple white t-shirt, and a gray jacket. He laid them out on the bed and began to get dressed.

As he pulled on the pants, he admired the way they hugged his slender legs and accentuated his narrow hips. The white shirt clung to his torso, highlighting his lean muscles. He slipped on the jacket, zipping it up halfway.

"Perfect," he said with a satisfied nod.

He then sat down on the edge of the bed and began to tie his black combat boots, making sure they were secure.

Suddenly, he heard Parker's voice calling out from the living room.

"Seung-ho! Are you ready to go?"

"Ready, packed food, water, soda, and candy?" Seung-ho asked.

"Yes," Parker said gently.

Seung-ho settled into the passenger seat of Parker's sleek black Jeep, his eyes scanning the interior with approval. The leather seats were soft and comfortable, and the dashboard was equipped with all the latest gadgets.

"Nice ride," Seung-ho commented, buckling his seatbelt.

Parker slid into the driver's seat and started the engine, a low rumble filling the air. He glanced over at Seung-ho, noticing the boy's casual yet stylish outfit.

"You look good," he said, a hint of admiration in his voice.

Seung-ho flashed him a smug grin.

"Of course I do. I always look good."

Parker rolled his eyes but couldn't help smiling. The drive was about an hour and half long. Seung-ho slept most of the way. When he opened his eyes they were at a ranch.

This is the Nightingale Ranch, Seung-ho touched his chin as he tried to think hard.

Pudding: Host you are right this ranch is owned by you networth is over two hundred million

{Wow no way so I owned so much land and this ranch the original owner is a wise person worthy of my soul taking over this body.} Seung-ho was so smug and happy.

Parker parked the Jeep and turned to Seung-ho, who was still taking in the vast expanse of the ranch.

"So, what do you think?" he asked, a hint of pride in his voice.

Seung-ho's eyes sparkled with excitement as he took in the sight of the sprawling ranch. The rolling hills, the stables, the horses grazing in the distance - it was all so picturesque and perfect.

"It's amazing," he breathed, unbuckling his seatbelt and practically jumping out of the car.

He spun around, taking it all in with wide-eyed wonder. Parker chuckled at his enthusiasm and got out of the Jeep, stretching his arms above his head.

"Come on, let's go check out the shooting range," he said, leading the way towards a large barn-like structure in the distance.

They walked inside the cabin and the manager saw Seung-ho but he shook his head which the manager understood that Seung-ho wanted to keep his identity secret as the owner of this ranch.

The shooting range was impressive, with a long lane lined with targets at varying distances. The air was filled with the scent of gunpowder and the occasional crack of a gunshot.

Parker approached the counter, where a grizzled-looking man handed him two sets of safety gear - earmuffs and eye protection.

"First time?" the man asked, glancing at Seung-ho.

"No, we've shot before," Parker replied, handing a set of gear to Seung-ho.

Seung-ho took the equipment and put it on, looking around the range with eager eyes. He spotted a rack of guns along the wall and wandered over to examine them.

"What kind do you want to use?" Parker asked, joining him.

Seung-ho pointed to a sleek black pistol.

"That one," he said decisively.

Parker raised an eyebrow but didn't argue. He picked up the gun and checked it over before handing it to Seung-ho.

"Remember, safety first," he warned.

Seung-ho nodded solemnly, taking the gun and holding it carefully. He followed Parker to their lane, his heart racing with excitement.
