Chapter 7 - Chapter 007: Misfortune

Seung-ho rushed back to Parker with a mischievous grin, holding out the chili sauce.

"What's this for?" Parker asked, eyeing the sauce warily.

Seung-ho smirked and leaned in close, whispering in Parker's ear.

"A little payback for grabbing my ear," he said, his voice dripping with innocence.

Before Parker could react, Seung-ho dumped the entire contents of the chili sauce onto Parker's head. The hot, spicy liquid dripped down Parker's face and neck, stinging his eyes and skin.

Parker sputtered and coughed, wiping at his face frantically. Seung-ho giggled uncontrollably, doubling over with laughter.

"You little..." Parker growled, reaching for Seung-ho.

But Seung-ho was too quick.

Seung-ho darted away, his laughter echoing through the café. He ran towards the exit, glancing back at Parker with a mischievous grin.

"You can't catch me!" he taunted, sticking out his tongue.

Parker wiped his eyes, trying to clear his vision. The chili sauce was burning intensely, making it difficult to see. He stumbled forward, determined to catch the elusive Seung-ho.

Outside the café, Seung-ho skidded to a halt beside a large fountain. He turned to face Parker, his chest heaving with laughter and exertion.

"You're going to pay for that," Parker warned, slowly approaching him.

Seung-ho's grin widened, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

The next morning Seung-ho woke up early he grabbed his cards and flipped them around he found today will be an interesting day he waved his hand as he created a talisman that protected the apartment complex. Seung-ho in truth was a cold and indifferent person but around Parker he can be kind to outsider Seung-ho cared little about them it was just his personality. Seung-ho walked down the stairs and he opened the door he saw Bob Shop was now opened. Seung-ho sat down he ordered breakfast and hot coco.

{Pudding can you find information about my biological family?} Seung-ho wondered. Pudding turned into an adorable fox and pointed at its paw.

Pudding: Host, I can't do anything about you this will be up to you to find information about your biological family

Seung-ho actually didn't care about that as long as his peaceful life is not ruined he can ignore everything in the world.

Seung-ho sighed and took a sip of his hot cocoa, the sweet and comforting flavor momentarily distracting him from his thoughts. He glanced around the bustling café, observing the patrons with a detached interest.

As he sat there, lost in his own world, a commotion erupted outside. Loud voices and the sound of shattering glass drew his attention. Seung-ho's eyes narrowed as he listened, his curiosity piqued despite himself.

Suddenly, the café door swung open violently, and a group of rough-looking men barged in. They were clearly intoxicated, their faces flushed and their eyes glazed over. The leader of the group spotted Seung-ho and stumbled towards him, a menacing grin on his face.

"Well, well, well," he slurred.

"Look what we have here. A pretty little thing all by himself."

Seung-ho's expression remained calm, but inside, his mind was racing. He could sense the danger emanating from these men, but he also knew that he had the power to handle them easily if needed.

{Great, just what I needed to ruin my peaceful morning,} he thought sarcastically.

"Uncle Bob who are they?" Seung-ho asked.

"Those are loans sharks with high interest and always making people beg for mercy, not only that they bully the weak," Bob said. Seung-ho nodded his head and he grabbed a bottle.

"You loan sharks what is your loan sharks name?" Seung-ho asked them.

The leader of the loan sharks sneered at Seung-ho, his eyes raking over the younger man's delicate features.

"What's it to you, pretty boy?" he spat.

Seung-ho's lips curled into a smirk, his eyes glinting with a sudden coldness.

"I'm just curious," he said lightly, rising from his seat.

He walked towards the men, his steps graceful and unhurried. The loan sharks watched him warily, unsure of what to make of this seemingly fragile individual.

"I've heard of your... reputation," Seung-ho continued, circling around them like a predator stalking its prey.

"And I must say, it's quite impressive. Bullying the weak, exploiting the desperate... You're quite the formidable bunch."

The leader scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Now what is your loan shark name I want to get a loan," Seung-ho said with a sweet innocent smile.

The loan shark leader's eyes widened in surprise at Seung-ho's request. He looked the delicate man up and down, trying to gauge his sincerity.

"You want a loan?" he asked skeptically.

"From us?"

Seung-ho nodded, his smile never faltering. He stepped closer to the leader, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.

"Yes, I do. You see, I've recently come into some... inheritance," he said, tapping his nose knowingly.

"And I need someone to help me manage it. Someone with your particular set of skills."

The loan shark leader's expression shifted from suspicion to greed. He licked his lips, already envisioning the potential profits.

"Well, well, fine we are called Shadow Loan," the shark leader said. Seung-ho nodded his head and he pointed at them.

"Do you believe in misfortune? If you wronged me, make me cry, misfortune will fall upon you," Seung-ho said. The loan sharks gang all laughed but Seung-ho put her hands together and he sighed.

"Oh heaven I have been mistreated please help me punish them, one walks out being hit by something, another breaks an arm, another gets arrested, another being hit by lighting, one being beaten by a dog, the group all being found within three minutes," Seung-ho said. Of course Seung-ho only said these words but no one believed it.

As Seung-ho turned his back on the loan sharks, a sudden gust of wind blew through the café. The windows rattled violently, and the doors slammed shut with a bang. The patrons gasped and looked around nervously, sensing an unseen presence.

Suddenly, a loud crash echoed through the room as a heavy metal sign fell from the ceiling, narrowly missing one of the loan sharks. He stumbled backwards, his face pale with shock.

"What the fuck?" he exclaimed, looking up at the now-exposed hole in the ceiling.

Before anyone could react, another gang member let out a piercing scream. They all turned to see him clutching his arm, which was bent at an unnatural angle. It was clear that it was broken.

"No way... This can't be happening," another shark muttered, his eyes wide with fear.

Just then, sirens wailed in the distance, growing louder by the second. The police were closing in fast.

The loan shark leader's face paled as he watched his gang members fall victim to the strange misfortunes. He looked at Seung-ho, his eyes filled with a mix of fear and disbelief.

"This... this is impossible," he stammered, taking a step back.

Seung-ho turned to face him, his expression calm and unreadable. He tilted his head slightly, as if studying the leader's reaction.

"Didn't I warn you?" he asked softly, his voice barely audible over the chaos unfolding around them.

The leader shook his head, trying to deny the evidence before his eyes. But deep down, a part of him knew that Seung-ho's words had come true.

"You're... you're not human," he whispered, his voice trembling.

Seung-ho smiled faintly, but there was no warmth in it. He took a step closer to the leader, his eyes gleaming with an otherworldly light.

Suddenly, a bright flash of lightning illuminated the café, followed by a loud thunderclap. The patrons screamed and ducked for cover.
