CHAPTER 0.
ONE was walking casually, blue sweater, laces undone, looking completely unbothered. A group of kids mocked him down the street. "Look at this guy! Can't even tie his laces!" yelled one of them. ONE shrugged. "Meh… just a Monday…" he said before continuing.
A cat appeared. ONE bent down to pet it. BANG. The cat exploded. Blood splattered everywhere, coating the cobblestones, the walls, and even the shoes of the kids who stumbled back screaming.
The ground shook. A colossal daemon, taller than the buildings, burst into the street. It raised its arms, and everything went to pieces: cars, streetlamps, façades… the screams of the passersby were lost under the crash.
The daemon lunged at a child trapped under debris. ONE raised his hand: "Noon, don't touch the kid!" and teleported the boy a few meters away, close enough to watch the chaos, but out of danger.
ONE sighed. "Well… this is gonna be fun."
The daemon swung a gigantic arm. ONE passed through its neck as if it were mist, did a somersault on its head, and muttered: "Feeling hot yet?"
Every attack from the daemon went right through him. ONE bounced around, overturned cars for fun, teleported onto the remaining streetlamps, and threw chunks of rubble that ricocheted off the daemon, making it groan in frustration.
"This Monday's getting interesting," shouted ONE, grabbing a piece of wall. He threw it… the rubble passed through the daemon, which grimaced like a frustrated child. ONE did a pirouette, kicked a streetlamp, and the streetlamp, too, bounced off the daemon.
The boy watched, wide-eyed. ONE gestured slightly: back up a little… but stay close enough to see total destruction.
The daemon roared, fumed, tried to strike… but everything passed through ONE, who kept jumping everywhere, teleporting, and making absurd faces. Every move made the daemon look even more ridiculous, every roar sounded like a frustrated kid whining.
ONE raised his finger after dodging the daemon's attacks and said, "Touché!" The daemon compressed and crumpled like a piece of paper and disappeared.
Finally, ONE turned and started walking away. The boy ran after him: "Sir! You forgot me!" But ONE had already vanished in a cloud of dust, leaving behind a city completely destroyed, collapsed buildings, crushed cars, and the cat… RIP.
And he left, as if nothing had happened, leaving behind absolute chaos…
