Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Beginning of Vengeance

It was a rainy day when a man walked toward the bank. He spoke to himself about his working life, reflecting on his experiences and decisions. It was an ordinary day, and he was preparing to deposit money into his account. The man was a marketing manager at German automotive giant, a position filled with challenges and rewards. He thought about his goals and results as he crossed the sidewalk.

Behind him, a masked man watched closely. This individual was no ordinary person; he was a serial killer, his heart filled with rage. When the manager turned to enter the bank, the masked man approached silently, holding a knife. The atmosphere was tense, but the manager had no idea what was about to happen.

In a swift motion, the masked man attacked. He stabbed the manager several times, first hitting his arm and then other parts of his body. The attack was brutal. The manager had no time to react.

Blood poured from his arm as he tried to understand what was happening. The masked man did not stop; his strikes were powerful and relentless. The stabs were deep, and the manager felt his life slipping away. There was a hole in his chest, and he believed his head had been struck as well. After the violent outburst, the knife slipped from the masked man's hand and fell to the ground, leaving behind a trail of destruction. The masked man then walked away as if nothing had happened.

When he entered the bank, the masked man had already changed his intention. He greeted the bank manager, who was unaware of the attack that had just occurred outside. Still wearing the mask, he asked a simple question: with whom should he speak to deposit money?

The manager replied that he could help. The masked man raised two fingers. He did not want a small amount — he wanted two million euros.

The manager was shocked. He tried to explain that the bank did not have that amount available. Upon hearing the truth, the masked man became frustrated. Feeling powerless, he decided he would not leave empty-handed. A new malicious idea formed in his mind: he would blow up the bank.

He had brought timed bombs and began setting everything up.

The countdown began. Every second turned into anxiety. The masked man left the bank, knowing the explosion would occur soon.

Inside, the scene was very different. The managers were casually talking about trivial matters, including magazines. They were completely unprepared for what was about to happen, unaware of the imminent danger.

Suddenly, the explosion erupted, filling the space with a deafening sound. The Volkswagen manager was in the middle of a conversation when he was struck. The brutality of the explosion spared no one. Chaos followed, panic spread everywhere, screams echoed, and thick smoke filled the air, blocking all visibility.

In total, eight people lost their lives in that tragedy. The cruelty of the attack left deep scars on the community and, above all, on the families of the victims. The life of the manager, who had started the day reflecting on an ordinary routine, was forever erased. Amid destruction and despair, the consequences of the masked man's actions would echo through the city for many years. Everyone present that day became part of a dark story. Vengeance had taken shape in horror and sorrow.

The Beginning of Chaos

It was June 12, 2005. The streets were soaked by heavy rain. People walked as if trapped in a nightmare, where explosions shattered banks and individuals vandalized walls with messages of despair. The scene was a clear reflection of human misery.

In the midst of the chaos, criminals took advantage of the rebellion triggered by the masked man. I was a witness to this growing problem, and it was my responsibility to solve it.

As I observed human activity, my phone rang urgently. It was time to go to the bank that had been targeted by the explosion. The persistent rain bothered me, bringing images of spilled blood back to my mind.

The Urgent Phone Call

"Hello, what's happening, Mr. Akihiko?" I asked as I answered.

"Peter, meet me at the Central Bank now!" he replied.

"Understood, Mr. Akihiko. I'm on my way," I said quickly.

As I rode my motorcycle toward the Central Bank, Akihiko was already investigating the case, gathering information before my arrival.

The Crime Scene

When I entered the Central Bank, I found Akihiko speaking with Detective Julian Visk. He showed evidence of injuries on the victims — clear signs of the terror caused by the masked man.

"The chest was missing the heart. The brutality is beyond explanation," Julian said with concern.

Akihiko wondered aloud if the masked man was trying to get Peter's attention. This suspicion was confirmed by a letter the masked man had sent, filled with codes that Peter would need to decipher.

New Evidence

At that moment, the governor of Bavaria rushed into the room.

"Mr. Akihiko, we have footage of the masked man entering the bank and executing people. What do we do now?" he asked nervously.

Akihiko replied firmly, "We investigate. Germany is at risk, and we must resolve this urgently."

The pressure increased with every passing second.

After the Storm

After long discussions, Peter got back on his motorcycle and returned to his uncle's house. The road was empty. Music played in his headphones as he drifted into thought.

"Since I was young, I wondered what was worth fighting for. After my parents died, I was left with a void that needed to be filled. If I were someone else, I would have left and built a new future. But I made this choice — and now I must fulfill my promise of vengeance, even if it means watching the people I love suffer."

At His Uncle's House

At the detective agency, Bernard and Captain João Castro were deep into the investigation.

"I found out who the masked man is," Bernard said. "His name is William Brosnan. He is the leader of a satanic cult. They summon beings from another world."

Bernard continued, explaining that the cult had churches in Berlin and the United States, attended only by the rich, famous, and powerful. Their structure was hidden.

"The letter Peter has may be our only lead."

The Letter

Back home, Peter examined the mysterious coded letter. Before he could begin decoding it, his uncle and family arrived.

"Who sent this letter?" his uncle asked.

Peter admitted it was from the man who murdered his parents.

"You're still chasing vengeance," his uncle warned. "This path could destroy you."

"I don't want you to suffer because of me," Peter replied tearfully. "But I can't stop."

While Peter showered, his uncle secretly copied the letter and worked on it himself.

The next morning, he revealed the location:

Alexanderstraße 46, Stuttgart.

The Decision

"This country is in your hands," his uncle said. "You just need to know how to use them."

Peter contacted Akihiko and decided to go alone.

Memories on the Road

As Peter rode toward Stuttgart, memories of Namie, a Japanese girl born in Germany, flooded his mind. They had grown up together, sharing laughter and dreams.

Namie once asked him, smiling,"Do you like girls with long hair?"

The memory lingered.

Arrival in Stuttgart

Exhausted, Peter slept at a hotel. That night, he dreamed of Namie — as a Jewish woman during wartime. The dream ended in tragedy: imprisonment, loss, and separation.

Upon waking, he stared into the mirror and whispered,"I love you. After my revenge, I'll confess everything."

The Unexpected Reunion

A knock at the door.

Namie stood there.

They talked. She lay beside him, saying she felt safe with him. But she carried fear in her heart. She knew he was heading toward destruction.

The Church

The next morning, Namie left early. Peter followed her.

She entered a dark, unsettling church. Inside, masked women in identical robes conducted a ritual. Peter hid, watching in horror.

Namie stepped forward and accepted a role — the priestess.

Then he realized the truth.

The women would be taken through a portal.

Namie would be the last to be sacrificed.

And Peter could not allow that to happen.
