Inside the file holder, the unknown figure saw pieces of parchment that looked as if they were once scrolls. The parchment was old that it looked like they had existed for a 100 years, they were torn, humid and weightless, worst of all they looked like if any force took them with force, they will scatter and crumble away.
The unknown figure could not hide his disappointment as he asked in English:
"What the hell is this?"
The Chinese woman could not understand English but as she saw the expression on his face, she said:
"This is what Fan Lin left for you."
"It is one of his most prized possessions."
"He often spent time reading it."
"Focus on it and maybe it would reveal the knowledge buried inside."
The unknown figure looked at the piece of parchment and was reminded that he spent half of the month, running around looking for clues about his accident instead of leaving it alone and continuing with his life.
If he had just done so maybe he would have found a new job and he would have been receiving steady payment. Instead he was running around sharing what he discovered in the portal hoping for a reward or for someone that would believe him.
He covered his eyes with his palm and said:
"I'm dumb."
He glanced at the piece of parchment that laid in the file container and walked away. Sensing his disappointment the Chinese woman said:
"You may not find anything useful about it now but you can keep studying it."
"It is yours."
"It is only if you seek knowledge, you can find it."
The unknown figure accepted the file holder holding the old parchment. Using all the will within him, he struggled to thank her and could only bow as a sign of respect. He ascended the steps at the side of the hole to the room above, while the old Chinese woman decided to stay behind to clean the storage facility.
The unknown figure left the house in the middle of the Tulou and wondered why he didn't see anyone around the inner courtyard, outer courtyard, the balcony of the small nested houses built within the Tulou and why there was no sound in the rooms inside the houses.
After pausing for a while, he checked his phone to know the time, he shrugged, indifferent to the weird structure that contained nobody before deciding to board a cab back to the inn.

In one of the houses contained within the Tulou, a mysterious figure, was watching what had transpired within the unknown figure and the Chinese woman, at first the mysterious figure thought, the unknown figure had killed the person the leader had appointed to be the keeper of knowledge for their clan.
He was about to act, but decided to stop and wait for the unknown figure to depart from the building, the mysterious figure then moved into the house the unknown figure had disembarked from, moving covertly so as not to attract any attention, he moved into the building but could not see anybody there.
While searching around, he saw a hole and proceeded to inspect the hole, he checked the hole and could not hide the surprise showing on his face.
There he saw that the keeper of knowledge was about to be through with cleaning and after she finished, she closed the book shelf like a door, the unknown figure quickly vanished from sight before the keeper ascended the top of the stairs.
He waited for a moment to try to find out what, what he saw meant, his surprised expression soon changed to that of hate and anger as he discovered one thing the keeper had done that was wrong.
The mysterious figure said grimly in mandarin:
"She gave one of our most priced treasures to an outsider."
"I have to alert the other clan members."
With that, the mysterious figure turned to leave.

The unknown figure returned to the inn and tossed the file holder to the television stand that was provided by the inn.
He then turned around to sleep on the bed across the television, he slept the evening he came back and woke up the next day precisely 4:30 AM, he discovered he woke up early and proceeded to start preparing to travel back to his country, his vacation had ended and he was determined to return back to his life.
Janine needed him and he needed to set his life straight so that the moment Janine woke up, he could accept her gracefully and provide anything she needed.
He started by packing up his clothes and selecting new clothes to wear, arranging his documents and preparing for a hot bath. When he entered the bathroom, a piece of parchment hidden within the file holder flew away and landed on the floor.
The unknown figure finished taking his bath and was coming out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist he walked to the bed and took the clothes he hanged and said he was going to wear the next day.
He wore his boxers first, followed by his trouser, it was when he finished wearing his trouser that he saw the piece of parchment lying on the floor of his room. He walked over to pick it up and it was then that something amazing happened. He heard words on his head saying.
[You have collected a piece of the system language.]
The unknown figure gasped softly before saying:
"Who is there?"
"Who are you?"
He looked around frantically before discovering that he was the only one that was there, fearing the worst and hoping that another portal wouldn't open in his room, he grabbed all his things and walked to the side of the road where a park bench was and sat down there still shivering and hoping he wouldn't be in another accident.
He hoped a cab would pass by him quickly so that he could board it and move out of there as fast as he could as he sat on the bench. He still had some underlying fear as he started muttering softly:
"S-Sytem LL-Language."
He stopped muttering and his expression became grim when he saw that the file holder that contained the parchments had somehow landed on his lap. He shivered and was about to throw the book away, when he decided to spare one more look at it.
