Under a lightly purple sky a man made up of pale skin and bones was sitting on the bed in his room, the man made up of skin and bones is called Frank and he has been given a task to do, it was to master the art of strategy.
The training session had ended with Nigel being given the opportunity to go to the library and he fought hard for it, at the end of each duel with the soul beings other than Berry, Nigel had to consume cursed energy multiple times but the reward was so worth it.
He was then rewarded with visiting the library for one day while the defeated soul beings stayed back in the camp meditating on past mistakes and how they could improve.
Frank was doing the same thing but he was not fully devoted to doing that, instead he was wondering if he could return to the meditative state to spy on the other soul beings for reasons that would be explained later.
The important thing was that Frank felt that mastering the art of strategy that is reviewing his mistakes from training and finding a strategy on which to build on shouldn't take more than an hour, so he was just willing away his free time trying to master meditation and failing miserably.
Unable to bear his failure, he sat on the bed trying to sleep but he couldn't, at first he was wondering how the soul beings were able to complete a lot of tasks without sleeping and then discovered that they didn't really get tired and some do not even sleep, they were just robots with an infinite energy resource.
He started blankly at the ceiling doing nothing until a transparent system window opened in his front with the following words.
[*A penalty has occurred after 7 days.*]
[You have lost 10 out of your maximum health.]
[Your skin condition is worsening at the end of 6 days if you do not take good care of it, a penalty will occur.]
Frank woke up abruptly and asked:
"What?!"
Unable to believe it, he said the word "status" and checked his status.

He was alarmed and wondered why he was always being cursed in the new world he found himself. He thought some more about what the notification the system sent him meant when he belatedly realized that when he first came into the land of souls, he was warned about his failing skin condition.
At the same time he realized this, a figure knocked on the door of his room, he turned to open it and saw Berry. Berry turned to face him and said:
[Are you busy?]
To which Frank replied:
[No]
He sat up from the bed and proceeded to accompany Berry, he went to meet up with Berry partly out of curiosity of how he swiftly evaded the officials and also because Berry had already told him that they would visit one of his friends that was a High class Soul Being to give them an information about what kind of soul being Frank was and how to treat his skin condition.
Two officials were roaming around the Servant's camp, Frank thought this would be tricky since he had almost being caught even when a piece of him was the one roaming around behind the official backs.
But when Berry saw the two officials he said the word:
[Simple.]
He then urged Frank to follow his steps. Frank followed the drifting Berry half hoping he would not lose control of his leg.
They started at the end of the camp, then they moved quickly to the middle of the camp, then after a few moments of resting a little, Berry asked Frank to follow him, the duo prepared for the last hurdle that was between the middle of the camp and the corner of the gate of the camp.
While walking briskly, Frank saw the notification:
[You have lost control of your leg.]
The duo stopped abruptly and Berry looked at Frank urging him to move, Frank looked at Berry and said:
[I'm sorry I can't move but, if I can wait for around 5 minutes I would be able to resume movement.]
Berry looked at him with disdain as he said:
[Can't you see the situation we are, we don't have five minutes.]
[Just hope you are able to move within two minutes, if not, I'm leaving you.]
Frank shaked his head courtly to respond that he understood.
While they were waiting, one of Maru's Officials was gradually approaching their side, immediately he reached the view of Frank and Berry, Frank started shaking all around and cursing softly hoping he would gain control of his legs so that he could escape.
Frank shot a glance at Berry, although he was hoping not to be caught alone he also didn't want Berry to be caught alongside him. That was why he was surprised to see Berry acting so casually as the official was drawing ever nearer.
The official passed them, without even shooting a second glance at them, Frank was filled with a flurry of emotions as asked Berry.
[What did you do?]
Berry replied:
[It's just my attribute.]
Frank wanted to ask what kind of attribute Berry had that rendered someone's sight useless or turned the official brain to mush or perhaps he had not planned for the future and was extremely lucky that the official did not look at them, but the official shot a glance at them but it seemed he did not see them.
Frank also wanted to ask Berry whether they were invisible or whether he could turn someone invisible but before he could ask Berry. A notification returned to his face saying
[You have gained control of your leg.]
So he just told Berry that they could proceed and they continued to the end of the gate separating their camp from the bustling city of Darkovia.
