I Look in shock at Inv who's staring back at me with a determined look mixed with bright red all over his face.
I just came up with the whole marking thing just to make him feel better, but now he wants me to mark him?!
"Inv I… I don't think I can do that" I say back to him. While the idea of marking him is kinda ho- I mean sounds ideal. I don't want to hurt Inv…

'Wait would I even be able to hurt him? My claws are pretty dull… and feeling his skin and fur earlier, I don't think I would be able to hurt him at all even if I wanted to'
"H-huh?? Y noat??" Inv asks in sadness.
"Inv, I don't want to hurt you…" I say honestly to him.
"B-bu I hur u… et onl fare u hur me…" Inv says back to me.
"Inv we both know that was an accident. You did that out of pure instinct while I would have to purposely hurt you to leave a mark…" I explain my reason to Inv.
"I-I kno bu wudn et als hep wit knoin wher I am???" Inv says to me trying to give me a good reason.
While it would be convenient to also have a passive that would let me keep track of Inv… wouldn't that be kind of possessive?
I'm about to ask Inv if he would really want me to know where he always is but remember him asking me the same question.
"Inv would you really be willing to let me know where you always are?" I ask the question anyways. I want to hear what he thinks.
"O cours!! Ef i alwa kno wher yu ar den I als wan yu tu kno wher I am!!!" Inv says back in complete confidence.
Hearing Inv say this with a straight face and looking completely sure he wants this gets my heart racing a little bit. But I don't let my desires take over me at this moment. There's still one thing I can't guarantee…
"I don't know if it would work like that Inv… you being able to sense me with the mark was by pure accident. I don't know if it would work the same way if I marked you…"
This is the only thing holding me back right now. Getting that unique passive was just a lucky accident that turned a bad situation into a good one. I don't know how this whole passive thing works since this damn system just decides things out of nowhere.
"W-wel… we ca twy at leas??" Inv says back to me in a hushed tone, his face radiating a red glow.

"Ok" I give in. It wouldn't hurt to try at least. If this is something Inv actually wants, then I can't just say no…
But even though I just agreed to mark Inv…
'How the fuck am I even going to do that?'
Like I said earlier. Inv is made out of much tougher stuff than me. And my claws wouldn't even leave a scratch on him.
"wut wong Joey??" Inv notices my internal dilemma and asks me.
I'm a bit embarrassed to admit to him but…
"I don't know how I can mark you Inv… I'm not exactly the toughest creature around…" while saying this I back up just a tiny bit away bringing my paws up so Inv can see.
The one interesting thing about being a slugcat is I actually have claws too, but…
Bringing my claws out there not that long and look really dull. If I scratched myself as hard as I could it would probably leave only a scratch. That's just how dull they are.
"My claws aren't like yours Inv. I can't use them to fight at all…" while saying this I move one of my paws to Inv's chest giving it a slight scratch. Of course, this doesn't hurt him at all but the reaction I get sort of surprises me.
I see Inv's skin flare into a mixture of red and pink by my slight scratch and can feel his chest shiver. Pulling my paw away in surprise I see Inv look at me with a flustered face.
"You ok Inv?" I ask Inv while raising an eyebrow by his reaction.
"Y-ye… Dat j-jus fel w-weally gud…" Inv stutters this out and slightly looks away from me twiddling his fingers.

'OK, maybe my claws aren't as useless as I thought? Reminder to self, use claws on Inv while touching him. Noted.'

"Ef yu cant scwatch me den mayb… mayb u cud…" Inv stops, looking embarrassed to finish what he was about to say.
"What is it Inv?" I can feel my heartbeat even faster asking this. What was he about to say? I watch as Inv looks like he's having an internal struggle.

After a moment of contemplating Inv finally says what was on his mind.
"Yu… yu cud bite me?" Inv says back in a quiet voice. I don't think his face can get any redder than it already is at this point.

'Woah…'
I take a second to process what he just said.

'Bite him? I mean… I could do that…'
My teeth are definitely not as sharp as Inv's teeth, but my teeth should be sharp enough to be able to leave some sort of mark on him. I just didn't think he would suggest something like that…
But feeling my racing heart a big part of me won't say no to this.
"O-ok… where do you want me to… Bite you?" I say trying to keep my voice from trembling in excitement.
In response to this I hear Inv's tail thump on the ground several times in which I can only assume excitement.
"Yu… yu ca bit me anywher…" Invs moves closer to me, his face right in front of mine again.

A/N: Alright, I'm actually going to warn you now. the next couple chapters are going to be a little... 'out there'. Nothing like actual smut but things do get a little heated.
But I feel if you've made it this far into my story then you probably already expected this.
