A few hours later, Regina and Volt were sitted on the grassy training grounds. Volt was sitted on the floor, his head facing the ground while he used his hand to cover his mouth. As for Regina, she had both her hands wrapped around her head as she too was facing the ground, they couldn't bare the weight of their teachers death. Non of them said anything, the only thing that made nosie was the soft breeze that was blowing accross the fields. Suzuha stood infront of them, she too was sad "I don't know how to say this.....", she kept quiet for a while and took a deep breath out, her face looking like she's cried for days. Suzuha completed her sentence "Ralfold... Ralfold was a very good friend to me. We were teammates and went on missions along side each other. Even till date, he and I always got along. He was more than a brother, a person i could toy around with without him having mixed thoughts.", Regina and Volt were still quiet until Volt let out a cough mixed with a cry and raised his head up "Aaaaah! Fuck!". Regina was already having tears rain down her face, she raised her head up, wiped the tears off and sniffed before facing down. Suzuha looked at them, she became more sad, but she couldn't bring herself to cry infront of the students. She said to them "Ralfold was also very reckless in some situations. He understood what to do and just did it regardless of what happens. For him to have made it to this point before dying is astonishing.", Volt asked, his voice trembling "What's the point? He's dead. It doesn't matter how long he survived, he's dead.". Regina tried holding back her tears "Volt's right.", her voice was also trembling. Suzuha looked at her students and saw herself, Ralfold and Cid back in their younger days. She blinked before saying "He told me to tell you two something before he died.", Volt and Regina didn't respond yet, they were still depressed and trying to hold themselves from breaking. Suzuha too was quiet before saying "He told me to tell you all to do your best.", now the training grounds was completely quiet, nothing made a sound. Volt and Regina were quiet, they wiped off the tears on their faces and stood up "Do our best, huh? Sounds like something he'd say.", Volt said, Regina added while excersising her wrists "I know, right? He could be harsh, but he didn't find the need to yell at us. I mean, we were pretty dedicated to training.". Suzuha was stunned as to how both students were able to pick themselves up, she smiled softly "Hm. You two aren't sad anymore, I'm glad.", Suzuha then explained "From now on, I'll be your trainer. I'll put you through rigorous combat training. I'll reteach you all the basics you already know. I might also add a little harsh excersises in the mix. You two ready?". Volt and Regina smirked, both their heads tilted to different directions "We sure are.". At home, White and Lerion sat together on the porch. White seemed a bit sad while looking at Lerion, Lerion had black veins on his neck and his arms, a part of his nervous system had been burnt. Lerion chuckled "You're not going to say anything?", White replied "I don't know what to say. I mean, judging from how you look, you almost died.". Lerion smirked with his eyes closed "Yeah, I did almost die. But then again....", he raised his right arm and looked at it "Artifactication wouldn't allow me to wield it at full power. I needed to push myself in order to defeat the enemy, but the Drive Knight was way too powerful for me.", White then asked "Doesn't your power give you the ability to create any weapon of your choice and give it a power? I actually don't see how you needed to push yourself.". Lerion explained "White, no matter how powerful you are, there must always be a challenge. In my case, the Drive Knight i fought had the ability to negate whatever commands I gave to my weapons. And since it was just as strong as I was, I needed to increase my energy levels so I could defeat it.", White looked at it "So you're saying your ability wasn't ready to go into a level you it's user weren't ready for, so you ended up injuring yourself.". Lerion laughed "HAHA! Looks like you caught on quickly, White.", he patted him on the head "Right now, because of how weak my body is right now, I don't think I'll be as strong as I used to. White, you've gotta be stronger. Learn new techniques, same thing for Lydia and Racheal. Got it?", White seemed saddened before he smiled softly "Yeah, I will.". On the other hand, Kito had just made it back home. He walked in, closed the door, walked all the way to his room and just layed on his bed "AHHH! I actually made it home safe. Damn it, how many things have I gone through already?", he stood up from his bed and took off his shirt, leaving only his inner on. He sat comfortably on his bed, picked up his phone and looked at the time "12:01? Today's surprisingly slow.", Kito layed on his bed and just looked at the white ceiling. He stared at it for a moment while remembering all the missions he's been through till now "Hm. I can't stress enough how many times I could have died. Ever since we started going on missions, it's one thing after another. Luckily for me, I've been able to survive up till this point.", he looked at his palm "Most kids with special abilities and techniques had died on this journey. But here I am, laying on my bed after almost getting killed four days ago. I really am lucky. I really am a lucky kid.".
