Later that same day, Mio and Kazuma sat together on a bench, they were both quiet for a moment, neither of them said anything to one another until Kazuma spoke. Kazuma said "How are your legs, are they feeling better now?", Mio smiled and replied "Ah, yeah. My legs are fine. What of you?", she asked. Kazuma laughed dryly while patting his stomach "I'm fine. I got stabbed in the stomach pretty hard by that bastard, but I'm cool.", Mio thought to herself while being a bit dumbfounded "He still has enough energy to curse someone? Scary.". Mio rested her back and explained "You know, at some point, it's almost like as if we've taken these life and death situations like normal.", Kazuma replied "I know, right? I mean, when we look at it on paper, it doesn't sound like something serious until you actually find yourself in said deadly missions.", Mio laughed softly "Yeah, you have a big point there.". Kazuma had a saddened smile on his face, his head faced down "You know, Yuji's having it the worst out of all of us.", Mio blinked "Hm? What do you mean?", she asked. Kazuma explained "Minus the fact that he had to see Dan's body being used as a corpse doll by the enemy, and the fact that I blew Dan's puppeteered body right infront of him, Yuji's grandfather died.". Mio froze, her eyes widened "Are you for real?", she asked, Kazuma replied "Ha. I'm for realzies. Kito and the rest of us went looking for Yuji after I had woken up.", Kazuma and the rest of the boys were watching Yuji accross the halls with his eyes looking in disbelief as he saw his grandfather's dead body be put into a freezer. Kazuma still had a saddened smile on his face "It broke me just by looking at him. I couldn't bere seeing him like that. Volt almost cried looking at Yuji.", Mio seemed saddened, her head faced down "I see, I'll tell Regina about it.". Both of them kept quiet for a while before Kazuma asked again "Hey, Mio? Is there anything about me that you don't like?", Kazuma asked. Mio took her time to understand Kazuma's question "Anything I don't like about you? Well, I can't say for sure that I don't like anything about you. Although if I were to pick something, I'd say I don't like how carefree you can be in missions.". Kazuma's eyes widened a bit, his face was in shock before it turned into a soft smile "Can you explain, please?", Mio explained "Well, you tend to smile a lot when pressure's hitting. That's very normal, but then again, you tend to forget how dangerous the situation is. It's like you take dangerous missions like they're a fun game.". Kazuma scoffed "Ha, that's what you don't like about me? I guess I can take that.", Mio continued to explain "Again, it's not a bad thing to feel excited during pressure. I'm just saying that you tend to forget how dangerous the mission is. That's something I don't tend to sit well with. But then again, you get the job done. You don't forget the objective, and you do what's needed to be done. So it's all good.", Kazuma's head tilted as he looked upwards "I see. I can work on that.". He stood up from the bench and stretched a hand to Mio "If that's the case, then you'll have to help me with that flaw. Teach me how to take things more seriously than a joke, and I'll help you anyway I can. Got it?", Mio was stunned before she smiled "Yeah, I will!". Monoma and Zeraph on the other hand were standing on a bridge while looking at a river, they both were sad, but Monoma was even more sad. Monoma's eyes showed depression, he looked like he hadn't slept at all. Zeraph looked at him for a while before looking at the river "I'm sorry, about Kairo's death. He was your twin, you and him had a lot in common. I'm really sad to see he's dead, he was my teammate as well.", Monoma still didn't say anything. In fact, Monoma gritted his teeth with anger and balled his fist to the point it was turning red "DAMN IT! HOW? HOW COULD I HAVE LET THIS HAPPEN?!", he asked himself with pain and agony. He continued "WE WERE THE BEST OF THE BEST IN WHATEVER WE DID! WE ASSISTED EACH OTHER! TRAINED TOGETHER AND BULLIED OTHERS TOGETHER! WE WERE THE STAR TWINS! HOW COULD HE HAVE DIED?! HOW WAS I UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING?!", he balled up his hands on his head with his tone breaking down "I can't believe he's dead! My own twin brother! Kairo! He's dead! Fucking dead!", Monoma started to cry. Zeraph didn't know what to say, he looked at his friend with sadness before looking forward "You know, I had a team of solidiers who were just barely older than us fight along side me in the war. After I got out of my ward, I went to look for them. It turns out that the two of them were almost dead. They lost so much blood from the head that it's a miracle how they're hearts are still kicking. They should be awake in the next few days. The other guy who was in their team was actually very scared that his teammates were dead. I know it doesn't come close to how you're feeling now, but I too am feeling very down.". Zeraph kept quiet for a few moments before talking again "I don't know how Roy or Fred are doing, but atleast you and I are alive. And to be honest, we're really lucky. I'm sorry about Kairo.". As Roy was sitted in front of his house, he sensed someone approaching him "Hey, Roy.", Rem greeted. Roy was a bit stunned "Rem? What are you doing here?", Rem just smiled at him "HEHE!"
