At the Knight Country, Fragmell sat in his dark lounge, his arms and legs were spread apart as he kept quiet and stared at the dark. Fragmell started to monologue "Things have actually gone quiet, I'm starting to think that the war is almost at its close. I was thinking of doing a few more things, but I guess this is enough.". He coughed before continuing his monologue "I sent Rexus and Haven to Kagahara for a mission. But they might get caught in some problems along the way.", Fragmell stood up from his couch "Doesn't matter. I'll just go invade Kagahara myself. Fugaku's most definitely there, I'll just go fight him and destroy the city once and for all.". Without warning, a powerful blast of energy flew past cities of the Knight Country, all the way to where Fragmell was. Fragmell's eyes widened, he stretched out his hands to block the blast that had started to obliterate the building he was staying at. Everything got destroyed in a powerful explosion, the smoke cleared away. Fragmell's arms were burned, he slowly placed them down "Well, look who I found.", Reggie's voice said to him. Fragmell looked upwards and saw Reggie floating in air while holding a huge satellite "Good evening, lord Fragmell of the Knight Country. It was about damn time I found you, don't you think?". Fragmell smirked "Reggie Lancer. You know, I was just about to head out to Kagahara and wipe It out once and for all, but you came right on time.", Reggie replied "Oh, I know that. That's why I attacked you like that just now.". Reggie used his thumbs to point backwards at the cities he had destroyed with just one of his blasts from his satellite "I just eviscerated 12 of your major cities with just one blast from my satellite, and that's not even including the one's that were destroyed in the process of the fight I had against Jeffrey and the rest of the knights.", Fragmell replied "Ah? You met Jeffrey?", Reggie replied "Don't talk about him like you know him. He might have been one of your solidiers, but he was nothing but a tool to you. He deserved better, and im sad i had to kill him.". Fragmell's smirk became smug "Yeah, you're right. He was nothing but a pawn, I'm surprised you're just realising that.", Reggie seemed more enraged "What?". Fragmell explained "Solidiers and assassins exist for one purpose and one purpose only. To be tools to their government's and whatever nation they represent. Come on, you know this.". Fragmell continued to explain, his hands slowly regenerating "Solidiers. Scientists. Hunters. Knights. Assasins. It doesn't matter what division you see yourself in, we all exist for the sole purpose of one thing, to achieve our objectives.", he spread his hands out, his tone slowly rising with excitement "It doesn't matter what's in the way. It doesn't matter what problems we face. It doesn't matter how important the life of a comrade is. In this line of work where everyone is born into, we are nothing but disposable..", Fragmell became over joyed "CANT YOU SEE?! THAT'S WHAT WE ARE! AND THAT'S WHAT WE WERE MEANT TO BE! OUR POWERS BRING OUT OUR TRUE NATURE, SITUATIONS EITHER MAKE US OR BREAK US!". He looked at Reggie with a deranged and excited smile "REGGIE LANCER, YOU KNOW THIS TOO WELL! THIS IS WHAT WE WERE BORN TO DO! TO LIVE AND DIE FOR WHATEVER SIDE WE'RE ON! THAT'S WHAT IT MEANS TO BE KNIGHTS AND SOLIDIERS!", Reggie had already had enough of Fragmell, his satellite shot a beam that tore his arm off. Fragmell's arm wasn't just torn off by the beam, but the surrounding area exploded. Fragmell was stunned, his eyes were wide opened with shock "What was that? I couldn't even detect the speed of that attack!". Reggie clicked his tounge and started scratching his head "Tch! What a pain. I was hoping I'd destroyed your entire country and leave only a few cities intact, but I guess I'm tired of this war. God, it's only been two hours.", Reggie said to Fragmell. He looked at Fragmell, his expression filled with annoyance as the wind blew on him "Hey, Fragmell. This war between us Kagahara and the Knight Country doesn't look like its going to end any time soon. Right?", Fragmell replied "That's right. As long as Kagahara exists, the Knight Country would continue to dominate till we wipe you all out.", Reggie's eyes narrowed "Makes sense. But at this rate, you've lost a lot of man power. Some of your most powerful states have been destroyed. Kagahara solidiers have killed your most powerful knights. Your Drive Knights have taken serious damage, I can only imagine the amount of time it would take you to repair all the technology you've lost in this war.". Fragmell chuckled "You know, it's funny. The amount of power we've lost are all things we can regain in a few years. My knights have taken a lot of damage, but it was all for the sake of the Knight Country. But what of you?", Fragmell's smile became more mocking. He explained "Kagahara solidiers have taken equal damage as well. You lost a lot of solidiers, even the children solidiers you included have taken a lot of life threatening damage. Some are even dead.". In the battlefield filled with nothing but ruin, both sides had taken a lot of loss from the war, especially the children soldiers of Kagahara. Roy and Fred were face to face with a swarm of Drive Knights, each one almost destroyed but still standing. Roy's arms were injured, his veins and blood vessels were boiling to the point that the skin of his arms were almost melt off. Regardless, he had a deranged smile on his face filled with burn scratches. As for Fred, his arms were bleeding with deep cuts, he too had an excited smile on his face "Roy, I know you're tired, but let's keep pushing. Got it?", he said to Roy. Zeraph was also face to face with a huge and powerful Drive Knight, the team behind him were layed on the floor, almost dead. Their heads were bleeding, Zeraph was standing infront of them, trying to protect them. He too was injured, he was breathing heavily with injuries on his arms, a part of his head and his torso "Damn It, I can't let this thing kill them. These idiots ended up getting in the way. I know I'm a horrible person, but if I allow these guys to die, I'll never forgive myself.". Zeraph's smile grew unhinged "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR YOU TIN CAN?! ATTACK ME ALREADY!", he exclaimed with excitement as the side of his face bled. Monoma on the other hand was shaking up Kairo's bleeding and almost lifeless body, a forcefield protecting them, guns made from energy petruding and shooting at every enemy and Drive Knight in the way "KAIRO! KAIRO! WAKE UP! PLEASE, DONT DIE. ZERAPH AND THE REST ARE STILL ALIVE, YOU CANT BE THE ONLY ONE WHO'S DEAD! PLEASE, WAKE UP! YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND! DONT DIE ON MEEEE!", Monoma cried. Celina, Void and Velderon were also in a predicament, Velderon was groaning in pain as his stomach burnt from the inside out, Void had used his ability to create a forcefield around his team while Celina was trying to heal him "Hold on, Velderon! Please, we'll make it out of this war. So please, don't die!", she begged as she tried to help her friend. Void on the other hand had almost given up hope, his voice broken and filled with sadness "Celina, do you think we'll make it? This war.", Celina looked at Void who was almost crying "Alot of adult soliders have died in this war, kids like us have lost their live in this war too. How much more? How much longer do we have to endure? I can't do this anymore.", Void said. Celina was almost crying herself "I can't take it anymore either. I wish.....I wish this war would just end already.". Fragmell said to Reggie "Just like us, you too have lost a lot in this war.".
