Cecilia Adler was quite surprised. Her homemade shampoo was apparently famous enough to be purchased and studied by a legitimate manufacturer.
She didn't dare admit it. "You're flattering me," she said with a smile. "It's just something the villagers in my hometown came up with because they couldn't afford shampoo. It worked well for the people I knew, so I thought I'd share it so more people could benefit."
Director Shepherd chuckled.
'Calling 'making money' 'sharing a good thing'... she's got a silver tongue.' He thought. 'She's a sharp one, too. Made by villagers? Even if it was, would they really use such high-quality ingredients? Clearly, someone with expertise was involved.'
He said, "Being homemade means there's no standardized formula."
Cecilia Adler countered, "And who sets the standard?"
Director Shepherd was at a loss for words. "For factory production, how can we proceed without a standard?"
Cecilia Adler asked, "Are you suggesting I provide you with a standard?"
