Chapter 7: The First Meeting of Fate
The first days of Argonne Academy seemed like a blur to Volt. The country boy who dreamed only of flesh and strength found himself in a world where everyone was a stranger. But fate had other plans to bring three different souls together.
First interview: Volt and Sai
In the training hall, Volt was lifting weights, but due to his confusion and stupidity, the weights almost fell on him. At that moment, a cold, strong hand stopped him. That was Sai.
"If you want to survive, you need to focus," Sai said, looking at Volt with cold eyes.
Volt replied with his simple smile, "Oh, thank you! My name is Volt, you seem so strong, I'd like to be your friend!"
Sai just turned his back on him and walked away, but inwardly Sakuna chuckled, "Sai, that stupid boy you just helped... smells like blood and fire. Keep an eye on him."
👁️ Aki's watchful eye
As Volt tried to approach Sai, a girl watched them silently from a distance. Aki, being of the old royal family, felt awkward. She wasn't like the other girls who only admired Sai's beauty, but she was suspicious of the dark energy swirling around her.
One day, when Volt was lost in the Academy Library looking for a way out, he encountered Aki.
Aki snapped, "You... Volt Laywin. Why is your energy so chaotic? Who are you?"
Volt, who knew nothing of Aki's intentions, just smiled, "Me? I'm just a hungry boy who wants to be a warrior!"
The difficult decision: Tripartite group
The director of the academy, seeing that Volt had strange powers in the crystal experiment, decided to put him under the care of the best students. So he ordered Sai (as bodyguard and rival) and Aki (as the smartest wizard to watch) to team up with Volt for the quiet forest mission.
This is where the story of these three began:
Volt: A king who doesn't know himself.
Sai: A guard who sold his soul.
Aki: A princess seeking devastating truth.
At the end of the chapter, as the three of them headed to the forest together, Sakuna said inside Side's head: "The game has begun... These three people will either save the world or cause the end of everything
