Chapter 5: The Gate Was Never an Accident
Nero Crimsonflare – POV
Four days.
Four damn days of walking, searching, and questioning my own sanity.
"…Did I miss something?" I muttered, staring at the forest ahead.
No ruins.
No magic circle.
No glowing gate.
Just trees.
Endless trees.
I rubbed my temples and let out a slow breath.
"Alright," I said. "One more day."
And then—
I froze.
Between two ancient trees, where there had been nothing before, a glowing portal hovered silently.
"…That definitely wasn't there."
My heart started pounding.
I knew exactly what it was.
The mysterious library.
Without thinking—without dignity—I ran.
I sprinted straight toward the portal and jumped like an idiot.
"I FINALLY SURVIVED THIS FOREST!" I shouted mid-air.
"I WILL KILL EVERY MONSTER IN THIS DUNGEON AND BECOME A HERO—!"
I hit the ground hard.
Silence.
Then—
"…Oh."
I wasn't alone.
Standing nearby were several people I recognized instantly.
Moonslayer guards.
An old butler.
And at the center—
Luna Moonslayer.
Her hand glowed faintly, crystal-like light wrapping around her fingers.
In that instant, everything clicked.
"…I get it now."
This wasn't the hero's luck.
It wasn't coincidence.
( Did i say before this opportunity don't use our hero. sorry my bad . He gog five overpowered book in this library )
The gate appeared because of Luna.
Her Moon Stone.
So this wasn't my fortune.
It was my bad luck.
Luna turned toward me, surprised.
Before she could speak—
An ancient voice echoed through the space.
"Interesting…"
The air trembled.
"Another visitor."
The glow deepened, pressing against my chest.
"How did you arrive here?" the voice asked calmly.
"You do not possess a Moon Stone."
Every gaze locked onto me.
I scratched my cheek.
"…Accident?"
The voice laughed.
A deep, echoing sound that filled the entire space.
"Ho ho ho…"
"Child, there are no accidents here."
"Only fate."
The laughter faded.
And suddenly—
I had a very bad feeling.
