The next morning, I walked into class like nothing happened. Hair tied, uniform crisp, my usual poker face in place. No one would suspect that the CEO of Crownveil had been out on a secret ice cream date last night.
At least, that's what I thought.
Because the moment I stepped in—
"JAYYYY~" Denzel sang, grinning like the devil.
"Good morning, Miss CEO~" Rory added, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Want some ice cream? Strawberry, just how you like it?" Felix held up a cone… with the smuggest smile ever.
😳 My blood ran cold.
"What… the hell are you idiots talking about?" I asked slowly.
Then Mayo slammed his phone onto the desk.

Feeding each other ice cream. Laughing at the arcade. Me tucked against his shoulder at sunset.

"Bro, look at this one, Watson's literally staring at her like she hung the stars."
"And this—LOOK! Jay's actually smiling! LIKE A REAL SMILE!"
"Impossible. She must've been drugged."
"Shut up, Drew. This is history!"
"Should we frame these?"
"Already my lockscreen."

I leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, watching Section E surround Jay like vultures.
She was red-faced, trying to snatch the phones, threatening to murder them all, but they just laughed harder.
And me?
I smirked. Let them see. Let the whole damn world know she was mine.
But when Jay's fiery glare landed on me, I knew I was next.
"YOU—" she snapped, marching over.
"Yes, love?" I answered innocently.😏

I wanted to bury myself alive. Section E was cackling like hyenas, Keifer was smirking like a smug cat, and my reputation as the untouchable, badass queen of Section E? Ruined.
"You," I hissed, grabbing Keifer's collar. "Delete. Every. Single. Photo."
He leaned down, whispering against my ear. "Can't. They're my favorites."

Section E howled. "OOOOH JAYFER IS REALLLL~"
I let go of his collar and whacked him with my notebook. Hard.

My heart stopped.
The voices around me faded, laughter dying in my ears.
I gripped the phone tightly, forcing a neutral expression before anyone noticed.
Because I couldn't let them see.
Not yet.
But deep inside, I knew…
