Chapter 37 - 35 – The Invisible War

Chapter 35 – The Invisible War 🕶️⚡

Jay's POV

The campus looked the same as always—students laughing, teachers yelling, Section E being chaotic clowns 🤦‍♀️—but I knew better.

Enemies were already watching.

Enemies were already moving.

But so was I.

Last night, I activated Crownveil's Project Aegis—a full-scale silent defense system. Hidden cameras disguised as exit signs, motion detectors woven into the hallways, even drones cloaked in the clouds above the school.

While they thought they were hunting me…

I was already hunting them. 😏🔥

"Jay, Why are you so quiet?" Aries asked, leaning on my desk.

I gave him a lazy smirk. "Just bored of your face."

Section E roared in laughter. On the outside, I was still their sassy classmate. On the inside, I was calculating every possible entry point the enemies could use.

Later that night

At midnight, I walked the school halls alone, heels echoing softly against the tiles.

"Perimeter clear," my guard's voice crackled through the earpiece.

"Good. Deploy them," I replied.

From the shadows, agents in all-black moved like ghosts, embedding small black cubes under desks, near windows, and in the gym. Shockwave bombs. Non-lethal, but enough to incapacitate anyone stupid enough to attack.

I inspected one of the cubes myself, smirking. "Welcome to my playground."

Section E POV (Clueless & Chaotic 😂)

"Bro, why do you think Jay is always sneaking around after class?" Felix whispered.

"Probably has a sugar daddy," Drew said, earning a slap from Yuri.

"She is the sugar daddy," Eren corrected, and the whole class howled.

They had no idea.

Keifer's POV 👀🔥

Something was definitely wrong.

Jay was still laughing, still smirking, but her eyes… they were sharper. Like a predator.

"She's hiding something," I muttered.

And when Jay suddenly excused herself again, my instincts screamed. I followed her—quiet, careful.

I froze when I saw it.

Jay slipping into a black Crownveil car. Guards bowing to her.

"Damn it, Jay…" I whispered, fists clenching. "You're preparing for war without me."

Jay's POV 👑⚡

Back at Crownveil HQ, I stood before the holographic map of my school. Red dots glowed—possible enemy strike zones.

"Set traps here, here, and here," I ordered coldly. "If Kaizer's men move an inch near Section E… I want them crawling on the ground before they even see daylight."

"Yes, Miss Mariano," my agents replied.

I smirked, leaning back against the glass table.

"Come at me, Kaizer," I whispered. "I dare you."

The war hadn't begun yet. But when it did…

It would be my battlefield.
