Alice's POV
Saturday was more intense. We had a morning hike that nearly killed me. I wasn't out of shape, but these people were serious about hiking. Then we had workshops on leadership and innovation.
Antonio showed up around lunch. He found me in the dining hall eating a sandwich.
"How's it going?" he asked, sitting down across from me.
"Good," I said. "Tiring, but good. How's Bryan?"
"Same," Antonio said. "Working too much. Not sleeping. Not eating. The usual."
"He called me last night," I said.
Antonio's eyebrows rose. "He did? What did he say?"
"Not much," I admitted. "Just asked if I was okay. And told me about Richard's will being read Monday."
"Yeah, about that," Antonio said, looking uncomfortable. "There's something you should know."
"What?"
"Richard's lawyers contacted me yesterday," Antonio explained. "They wanted to give me a heads up about something in the will. Something involving you."
My stomach tightened. "What is it?"
