Chapter 1 - Hora Mortis et Hora Dei

You see the red light poured through the wound, swallowing the city in a heartbeat?

They are shit that call monsters swarms.

You name it, wings like jagged scrap metal.

Eyes glowing like furnace coals.

Bodies built for tearing through steel.

Hundreds turn into Thousands, and they are all dropping through the tear like a broken dam of nightmares.

People ran. Cars flipped.

Someone screamed a name that was lost in the chaos.

And me?

I floated down through the smoke with my staff on my shoulder, wings.

Yep I have cool angelic wings.

half-folded, coat flaring behind me.

.

"This is… aggressively not my business. But here we are." I said.

A horned brute lunged at me.

I didn't step back.

Didn't flinch.

It hit my aura and folded inward with a wet metallic crunch—the pavement breaking beneath it like cheap tile.

"Bro," I sighed. "At least buy me dinner first."

I breathed in—

And everything warm inside me vanished.

[ Initiating Sacrament Protocol ]

My thoughts dimmed, and Emotions shut off.

My heartbeat flattened into silence.

My halo expanded behind me in two perfect rings—clean, rotating, with electric stillness. Neon veins lit beneath my skin in sharp geometric lines.

The wings on my back snapped open, blasting light across the ruined street.

And my voice humming dropped into something cold, hollow, and inhuman.

A young troopers actually stumbled backward.

Yeah. My divine voice creeps even me out.

[ Initiation complete, Begin the ritual ]

"Nunc."

The world obeyed.

A crushing force slammed downward, flattening the nearest wave of monsters instantly—bodies pancaked, bones cracking like snapping branches.

Dust froze midair.

A falling shard of glass paused beside my face.

Everything held its breath.

"…et in hora."

The halo widened.

I flicked two fingers to the left.

A thin beam of white cut clean through four monsters in a row—perfect circular holes opening in their chests as their bodies disintegrated into glowing dust.

Another monster leapt.

I took a single step.

Reality blurred—

—then I reappeared behind it.

A single wingtip brushed its spine.

Implosion.

Fast, Quiet, and Brutal.

I didn't look back.

"…mortis nostrae."

A vertical blade of radiance slammed down from the sky, erasing everything in its path—monsters, debris, shadows, gone in a single flash.

I raised my staff.

The air trembled.

"Consummatum est."

Judgment detonated.

A perfect white ring blasted outward—fast, violent, absolute.

Armored beasts ruptured mid-roar.

Larger ones were thrown skyward and shredded before gravity caught them.

The ground split.

Streetlights bowed.

Windows exploded in synchronized blasts.

[ Ritual Complete, System Standby ]

Silence dropped like a curtain.

Then the divine presence drained out of my chest.

I blinked, rubbing my temple.

"…okay. That one's on me. I did not need to hit them that hard."

Ash floated around me like snow.

Then I heard it.

A kid crying.

I turned.

A little boy knelt beside a woman pinned under concrete. She was breathing shallowly, one hand weakly reaching toward him.

"Mom… please don't go…"

A spike of something hit my chest.

While I levitate the concrete that pinned the woman, I asked my system,

Dude is there anything I can do for them ?

[ Affirmative, Target Life Sign Detected, Initiating Hora Dei protocol ]

"I got you," I said.

I tapped my staff to the ground.

Divinity swallowed me again.

Face empty.

Voice hollow. Halo tightening into a blinding ring.

Wings unfolding in absolute symmetry.

I felt the boy flinch behind me.

Can't blame him.

This version of me isn't comforting.

"Hora Dei."

Warm light surged outward.

"Sanct Ilya."

Bones aligned with sharp, clean clicks.

Wounds sealed like time rewound.Blood reabsorbed.

Souls snapped back into place.

A monster that had been pretending to play dead tried crawling away.

It disintegrated instantly.

"…est Umbra Sacramentum."

A golden sigil spun behind me—simple, bright, absolute.

Light washed across the ruins.

The woman inhaled sharply—alive, whole—and dragged her son into a trembling hug.

That…

that felt better than any spell.

Divinity released me.

Warmth flooded back in. I breathed.

"Perfect," I said. "Zero casualties. My insurance company would be screaming."

[ HORA MORTIS — SSS-Tier Judgment ]

[ HORA DEI — SSS-Tier Miracle ]

[ Title Earned: Angel of Annihilation ]

I groaned.

"Angel of Annihilation? Seriously? Drama queen system."

People stared at me—wide-eyed, stunned, grateful, horrified.

I tapped my chest.

"That's me. Wild, right?"

No response.

Doesn't matter.

I'm talking to you anyway. Not them.

So here's the truth:

I wasn't originally from this world.

Let me rewind.

Heat blasted my face. Smoke clawed down my throat.

The smell of burning hair and plaster filled the collapsing apartment.

I was an EMT, I have No magic. No wings.

Just a vest and grit.

A cat was trapped under a burning beam.

The owner screamed until her voice cracked.

I lifted the beam.

It tore something in my shoulder.

Whatever.

Got the cat free.

Dragged them toward the exit.

The ceiling fell.

My last thought was stupid:

"Let them live."

Black and silence.

Then come light.

A void.

A system window glowing like a sword.

[ CLASS: ANGELIC ARMAMENT — SSS+ ]

[ DESIGNATION: SALVA BENEDICT ]

Before I could breathe—

wings burst from my back.

A halo snapped into place.

My right eye ignited red.

Neon veins glowed.

A runic black coat wrapped itself around me.

A red-gold staff formed in my hand.

Purple aura smoked around my boots.

I stared at myself.

"…holy sh*t," I muttered. "I look like an Idol who have OF."

( How do I know? It's not your damn business!!! )

And yeah. I liked it.

Before I knew I got thrown from that dimensional room, and that's my friend how I become Angel in this place called Firania.

Salva Benedict.

a sacrament user. Celestial override problem.

And as I looked up at the rift—splitting wider, more monsters clawing through—

I spun my staff once.

A grin tugged at my lips.

"Aight," I said softly.

"Let's ruin them"
