He charged at me again. How could a human possibly be this fast?
I drew the scimitar from my Arsenal and tried to land a hit on him this time, but he was simply too fast. His spear struck at me with tremendous force every second. How was I even able to block this? Suddenly, I realized it. It was a spear, but he was using it more like an axe. He didn't know how to use a spear.

This was the sound of his spear every time he tried to hit me, but it didn't work. I was at least as strong as he was, but his physical strength was extremely superior to mine.

But finally, everything became slower again for a short moment. I only noticed it when it was almost too late and could barely dodge his spear.
"Hmm," he said, turning toward me.
"That wasn't normal speed," he said, grinning like a clown.
He struck toward me again.

"Your attacks are useless, you monster," I said, effortlessly blocking every strike.

"Why are you even doing this to the people here? What kind of disgusting person would commit such acts?"

"Are you a god?" he said, stopping his attacks.
"A god?" I replied, while still holding my scimitar up in a defensive stance, ready to block a sudden attack.
"You can make your weapons appear out of thin air, and your speed isn't human. Those are divine abilities. Didn't you hear a voice speaking to you when you were born?" He looked up toward the sea.
"Yes, but I don't remember being born. The only thing I remember is waking up a few days ago on a pile of stones on that mountain up there," I replied, pointing toward the peak of the mountain. The beautiful glowing lights were still visible around the mountain.
"You don't remember?" he asked, looking at me questioningly.
"What exactly did you hear when you were born?" he asked attentively, as if we hadn't just been fighting for our lives.
"Someone chose me as their servant. Perfection, or something like that."
Suddenly, fear filled his face, but he tried to hide it.
"Every thousand years, and I just happen to get one as an opponent..."
I looked at him in confusion as he knelt down in front of me and bowed.
