Chapter 4 - #3

Before the sun even rose, Derivan got up and started the day by doing fifty sit-ups and push-ups, then went for a run around the city.

"I have to get myself together, I'll prove everyone wrong," he thought as he completed his third lap.

After 10 laps, the teenager collapsed to the ground, panting heavily. "Is this really my limit?"

Derivan was about to give up, but then he remembered the taunts of the other students. "Oh no, I won't give up that easily." With these words, he continued his training.

The boy didn't notice a girl watching him from a distance, and that girl was Nohara. "That idiot," she commented, then walked away.

About two hours later, Derivan returned to his apartment. He didn't even make it to bed, but immediately collapsed on the floor upon entering.

"I'm exhausted."

Derivan trained until late in the evening, when the sun set and the teenager returned home.

 The next day...

Ray arrived at school, and the boy looked as if he were thinking about something. Suddenly, Derivan ran up to him.

"Hey, why are you so sad?"

Ray looked at his friend. "You think so."

Derivan wasn't convinced by Ray's answer. "You can't fool me!"

"Okay, I'm just sleep-deprived because I had a nightmare last night, that's all."

"And you couldn't just say it right away."

Soon, they both arrived at class, and a few minutes later, the teacher arrived.

"Okay, before we start class, I'd like to announce that next week we'll be going on a trip to the city of Silono."

"Silono?" one of the students said.

"Yes, it's a famous city with a history, but you'll find out about it during the trip."

As the students were walking to class, one of them noticed a strange door. "Excuse me, what's behind that door?"

The teacher pointed out the door the boy was talking about. "There's a special crystal in that place."

"Crystal?" - Derivan repeated.

"Yes, that's all that's left of the Hero that was Midan."

-"Midan?"

-"You'll learn more in history class."

Derivan looked at the door again, then grabbed his head. "What's this feeling?" he thought.

"Hey, Derivan, are you coming?" Ray noticed his friend's strange behavior.

"Yes, yes, I'm coming." The teenager quickly ran to the rest of the class.

"Now you're the one acting strangely, what's going on?"

"Sorry, don't worry, it's nothing."

"If you say so."

Meanwhile, in the capital of Ozoro, there were two twin sisters. One had long blonde hair that flowed down her back, the other had shorter blonde hair that fell to her shoulders.

"Laura, Kira, are you ready for the trip?" his mother asked, entering the room.

"Yes, we're finishing packing."

After a few minutes, the girls were ready.

"Before we leave, we'd like to visit our father's grave," Laura suggested.

"Okay."

As the family headed to the cemetery, the twins' mother wondered about her kidnapped son.

"I wonder how Yashimiro is doing, if he's still alive and safe. I'd love to see him grow up."

Laura and Kira noticed her mother's absent-mindedness. "Mom, did something happen?"

"Nothing, I just remembered something. We should go now."

"Okay."

Derivan was getting ready for the trip. "Okay, I'm ready!"

A moment later, Derivan's class headed to the station and boarded the train.

"I'm excited, and you, Ray?"

"I don't care, it's just a trip."

"Okay, take your seats, we're leaving soon," the teacher announced.

Each student took their seat, and a few moments later, they set off on their journey.
