Satsuki climbed out of the sewer just in time to see a building near the convenience store she left Y/N in collapse under the weight of the Life Fibers.
Satsuki: Y/N...
She didn't have much time to think as more patrolling COVERS headed in her direction. Slowly and carefully, Satsuki made her way through the No-Star Slums, now bare of its residents. Eventually, Satsuki made it to Y/N's apartment building. It was a run-down block, but standing.
Satsuki: This place is surprisingly clean for a No-Star apartment... minimalist.
Satsuki glanced around before heading into Y/N's bedroom. She knelt by the bed, reaching underneath until her fingers brushed against cool metal. She pulled out a heavy silver case. Next to it was a worn, leather-bound book.
Curious, Satsuki sat down on the bed. She opened the book first.
Satsuki: Are these?
It wasn't just a scrapbook. It was a war log. Pictures of Y/N standing amidst rubble, facing down creatures that defied logic—Nomus, villains, giants. In every photo, he looked tired but fierce. Taped to the inside cover was a blister pack of pills—the same heart medication he had described.
Satsuki: So he wasn't lying. He really did fight a war against that man...
She set the book aside and turned her attention to the silver case. It was heavy. Reinforced. She unlocked the latches.
Inside, resting on black foam, were two massive, grenade-shaped gauntlets. They were green and black, bulky, and smelled faintly of burnt sugar—nitroglycerin.
Satsuki: Gauntlets? These look like artillery pieces...
She ran her hand over the Grenadier Bracers. They hummed with a dormant, volatile power.
Satsuki: Strange... these are not made of Life Fibers. They are purely mechanical support gear designed for heavy combat.
She didn't have long to study them as Y/N's door was thrown down by a COVERS suit that had wandered in.
Satsuki: Damn!
Thinking quickly, Satsuki slid her arms into the gauntlets. They were heavy, weighing down her arms, but the fit was snug. She felt the trigger mechanism inside.
The COVERS charged. Satsuki dodged under it and swung the massive gauntlet in an uppercut.
CLANG!
Much to her surprise, the sheer weight and density of the metal crushed the COVERS' ceramic faceplate instantly. But more than that, the impact triggered a release valve. A small, concentrated blast of stored heat exploded from the gauntlet, blowing the COVERS backward into the wall.
Satsuki: These gauntlets... they store kinetic energy? No... they store the user's power. I can use these.
Satsuki grabbed the duffle bag, threw the medication and the war log inside, and strapped the bag to her back. Keeping the gauntlets on, she smashed her way out of the apartment and out of the city.
The Next Day
Kiryuin Manor - The "Palace"
A row of cars entered into the driveway of the large mansion. Waiting in the main entrance were Rei, Takiji Kuroido, and All For One.
When the cars stopped, Ragyo stepped out, looking impeccable despite the battle.
Ragyo: Hououmaru, Kuroido. And you, my partner.
AFO: Breathing heavily through mask Welcome back, Lady Ragyo. I trust the hunt was successful?
Ragyo: Indeed.
Moments later, servants offloaded a gurney. Y/N lay unconscious, strapped down with Life Fibers.
Ragyo: Kuroido, prepare the lab. My partner has work to do.
Rei: If I may, my Lady... why bring Mr. (L/N) here alive?
AFO: Chuckles darkly Allow me.
AFO floated over to the gurney, his hand hovering over Y/N's chest, right above the starburst scar.
AFO: This boy... his body is a marvel of adaptation. I put a hole in his heart years ago. By all accounts, he should have died. Instead, his quirk mutated. His body began to generate explosive energy not just to destroy, but to force his own heart to beat.
Rei: looks at Y/N That should be impossible...
Ragyo: Do you remember the "Regeneration" experiments we discussed?
AFO: Precisely. Y/N is a living battery of volatile life force. If I can extract his quirk factor... and combine it with the regenerative properties of the Life Fibers...
AFO leaned in close to Y/N's unconscious face.
AFO: I can finally fix this broken body of mine. I won't just heal... I will de-age. I will return to my prime. And Y/N? He will be the fuel source.
Ragyo: smiles sadistically And once he is drained, he will make a beautiful puppet.

Gamagoori: WHY ARE WE NOT ATTEMPTING TO RESCUE LADY SATSUKI!?
Nonon: I hate to admit this, but I have to agree with frog-face.
Aikuro: Unless you plan on fighting an army of COVERS, Ragyo, AND the Demon Lord All For One by yourselves, I'd suggest against it.
The Elite Four had been rescued by Nudist Beach helicopters after Y/N yeeted them out of the arena. They were frustrated, beaten, and weaponless.
Inumuta: I'm locked out of the Academy's systems. We are blind.
Suddenly, a radar blip.
Inumuta: Incoming! A massive heat signature!
Northern Kanto, Susukigahara
"Run! Run!"
The Elite Four were on the ground, leading surviving students toward the evacuation choppers. The sky was dark with COVERS.
Sanageyama: Shit! We're overrun! Blade Regalia MK III!
He transformed, slashing at the strings. But his uniform was damaged.
Nonon: Symphony Regalia MK II!
She fired a barrage, but the uniform sputtered and sparked.
Nonon: No! Hold together you piece of junk!
Her uniform shattered. She fell from the sky.
Gamagoori: Catch I got you!
Inumuta: That's our third Goku-Uniform down! We can't sustain this!
They were cut off. Surrounded by hundreds of COVERS.
Sanageyama: This is it, huh?
Nonon: Argh! No way am I going down without a fight!
Just as the COVERS lunged, a massive BOOM echoed through the valley.
A figure dropped from the sky, slamming two massive, grenade-shaped gauntlets into the ground. The shockwave blew the COVERS away.
Gamagoori: That light!
Sanageyama: Is that?!
Standing amidst the smoke, wearing the Grenadier Bracers, was Satsuki Kiryuin. Behind her, an army of armed students.
Satsuki: I did not call you my "Elite Four" just to see you fall here!
Gamagoori: LADY SATSUKI!
Satsuki raised a gauntlet, pulled the pin with her teeth, and swung. The explosion decimated a row of COVERS.
Satsuki: We are leaving! Move!
Nudist Beach Hangar
Back at the base, the reunion was brief but intense.
Aikuro: smirk I shouldn't have expected anything less. You brought an army.
Satsuki: I did what was necessary.
Nonon: Hey, what are those clunky things on your arms? They look hideous.
Satsuki held up the Grenadier Bracers. They were scratched but intact.
Satsuki: Ah yes... It is time Y/N's past is finally revealed. Inumuta, analyze these.

Ryuko was dreaming. Nightmares of Ragyo. Of Y/N bleeding.
Ragyo (Dream): Your reward... I just know you'll appreciate it...

Ryuko shot up in bed, cold sweat drenching her.

Ryuko: pant Sen- pant Senketsu? Where... what happened?
Senketsu: You were knocked out when the stadium exploded. I carried you here. To Nudist Beach.
Ryuko: Y/N! Where is Y/N!?
Senketsu went silent.
Ryuko: Gets out of bed, stumbling We need to find him.

Gamagoori: N-no way...
Tsumugu: W-woah...
Satsuki had laid out the war log and the heart medication on the table.
Nonon: That idiot fought in a war? Against that suit-guy?
Satsuki: Yes. These pictures... he was a Hero. A professional one. And these gauntlets...
Inumuta: I've scanned them. They aren't just metal. They are designed to store and compress a specific nitroglycerin-like substance—likely his sweat. They turn him into a walking artillery cannon.
Aikuro: And the villain?
Satsuki: All For One. The man standing with my mother. Y/N is the only one who has ever survived him.
Ryuko kicked the door open.
Ryuko: WHERE IS HE!?
The room went silent. Satsuki looked down.
Satsuki: He's... with Ragyo. And All For One.
Ryuko ran up and grabbed Satsuki by the collar, lifting her off the ground.
Ryuko: THE FUCK DID YOU SAY!?
Gamagoori: MATOI!
Satsuki: He... sacrificed himself. He told me to run. He said if I stayed, AFO would get us both. He needed his medication... I had no choice!
Ryuko: YOU LEFT HIM WITH THE MONSTER WHO PUT A HOLE IN HIS HEART?!
Satsuki: I HAD NO CHOICE!
Ryuko dropped her, shaking with rage.
Ryuko: Then we go get him. Now.
Aikuro: Ryuko, wait-

An alarm blared.

Ryuko: Senketsu! Let's go!
As Ryuko turned, Iori rolled in a massive device.
Iori: Looks like I finished just in time.
Gamagoori: Is it ready!?
Iori: The vacuum device is ready. But for the heavy lifting...
Aikuro stepped forward.
Aikuro: If you guys are so up for it... it is time I take off my underwear.
Ryuko: THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?
Aikuro: Pose Mankind cannot hope to prevail without Y/N. His explosive energy is the only counter to AFO. Nudist Beach shall offer up its ultimate vessel!
The floor opened. A massive ship rose from the water.
Aikuro: The S.S. NAKED SUN!

Nui: giggles I think they took the bait, Lady Ragyo!
Ragyo: Of course~ Like moths to a flame.
Rei: All For One is preparing the extraction machine in the lab.
Ragyo: Good. Let them come.
Nui: What can they even do? They're just humans!
Ragyo: smiles Indeed. Besides... looks behind her We have our own secret weapon~
Behind the three women stood a figure. It wasn't Y/N. It was a man in a pristine white suit, his face covered by an industrial life-support mask, tubes glowing with green liquid. All For One, revitalized, flexed his fingers.
And beside him... Y/N, eyes dull, strapped into a machine that was siphoning golden, explosive energy directly into AFO's veins.
Ragyo: The hero's energy... shall be his own undoing.
