Blitzkrieg (DxD AU Vali SI) CH2

-Vali Lucifer-

"-Hey isn't that the half-breed Lucifer?" Voices whisper behind me as I glide through the hallway.

"-what's he doing?" I increase my speed, following my memories to the dining hall where he must be having breakfast.

I levitated in front of the giant wooden gates, sensing the energy beyond it only confirmed it to me that he was here.

That the bastard was there.

I stopped for a moment, to consider just what I was about to do. But it was for just a moment and I gather the Evil Light on my hands, forming a giant fist and punched-

BOOM!

-and the door exploded! Sending chunks of wood everywhere as I accelerated inside, my bat-like wings expelling rays of Evil Light to accelerate my speed.

The occupants inside the room instantly stood up in alarm or jolted in fear, my sire also set up a shield to protect himself unlike the other Lucifer that didn't even seem bothered by the ruckus.

-But I didn't focus on him beyond a cursory glance, he was not the target of my rage right now. More Evil Light was expelled via my wings, making me go at speed that a normal human would balk at, as I crashed and broke through the shield set up by my sire.

"W-what!?" He yelled in alarm as I kicked him in the chest, sending him sprawling to the broken floor.

"You killed my mother." I said to him, he should at least know why he's being punished.

"You dare to awaken the Devil!?" He seems to understand what I'm doing. "You dare to go against your father!?"

Has this guy watched too much game of thrones or something? Does he thinks he's Viserys- Oh wait! That show hasn't aired yet.

I guess he just speaks weirdly then. I concluded nonchalantly. It's not like how he talks is going to matter for much longer anyway.

But for all his bravado, I could see the undercurrent of fear in him. I couldn't help it but say as I looked down at him. "Isn't that the Lucifer family tradition?" And the room was suddenly silent.

My sire gawked at me. Holding his chest and feeling pain as it became worse. That was the corrupting nature of Evil Light. Making wounds worse the longer they stayed. Like poison.

"And besides, it is a Devil's job to punish those who deserve to be punished. I'm just following tradition." I smirked but my eyes were saying something else. I was saying these for a reason. So that the other Lucifer in the room doesn't interfere.

"You-! Y-you! I'll kill you!" His face red with rage, he lunges at me thinking I was the same kid who would quietly take a beating. "[Lightning Blast]!"

A blast of lightning moves towards me. "So slow." I commented and dodged. Using my demonic energy as well as my clan trait to accelerate my perception.

Using Demonic Energy like this- without a Magic Circle – was very inefficient and wasted a lot of energy for the simplest of things but as I didn't know any Magic Circles and had enough Demonic Energy to just brute force it with my imagination- I didn't really about preserving it.

"[Lightning Wave]!" He fired off a wave of lightning, gritting his teeth in anger. I knew this one, it was an "unavoidable" attack that left you paralyzed.

I make an orb of Evil Light in my hands, imbuing it with the effects that would absorb the lightning working like a lightning rod and battery at the same time. And then I chuck the orb back at him.

Boom! He dodges barely but electricity still hits him, making his leg twitch as his movement is restricted.

Instantly, a dozen floating knives made of Evil Light materialized behind me. Firing off towards all of his ligaments and joints as he is unable to dodge. "Gah-!" He cries out in pain, making my cold heart happy.

Using my connection with the knives of Evil Light stuck in his body, I floated him up to me. As I look at him groaning in pain, I'm disgusted.

Enforcing my hand with Evil Light, I punch. "Gah-!"

And punch.

"N-no!"

And punch.

"M-mercy!"

And punch.

"P-please!"

And punch.

"P-plea-please!" He cries out.

As I look down at his bloody and broken form, I once more feel disgust. But despite everything I want to say to him, for everything he has done, I stayed silent.

This man doesn't deserve my word or time.

Deciding to finish with this, I materialize something that sends almost every Devil in the room careening in shock and horror.

A human sized holy cross made of Evil Light.

-Everyone except one. "Bravo! Bravo! That's my grandson everybody! The cruelty! The evilness! The coldness! He's almost the perfect Devil!" Madly laughs and claps Rizveim Livian Lucifer, my grandfather. The most evil being in this world.

But I would deal with him sometime else. Looking back at the whimpering form of my sire, Razevan Lucifer, I order the knives stuck in his body and they respond.

"N-NO!" He yells out in terror as the knives float him and stick him into the cross, just like the Holy Son once was.

And he burns.

He feels unimaginable pain as he feels "God's" wrath manifest upon him for daring to touch, for "trying" to sully the holy cross.

In front of my eyes, Razevan Lucifer get the most painful, the most brutal death that a Devil could get as he burns away into ashes on the holy cross.

And my eyes are transfixed, memorizing every little detail so I never forget this.

I wasn't so brutal in my past life, but dying changes people and my trigger? Family. Having died to the hands of my brother, I am currently too sensitive to situations like that. Not to mention the traumatic memories of Little Vali that I had to go through.

I breathed out as it was over. "Good riddance." I said as I shook my head and dematerialised every construct as I floated down.

Looking back towards the madly grinning silver-haired form, I bowed. "Grandfather."

I knew when to take a fight. And right now, Rizveim was so out of my league that it wasn't even funny.

Razevan was a weakling. Ultimate class just in name, while only having barely High class strength. He was a joke compared to the other heirs in the Old Satan Faction.

Even his own son, Me, was more powerful and talented than him (having been born with Middle class strength). And I had the famed Lucifer Clan Trait, The Demonic Brilliance Of Evil Light that hadn't been seen since the OG Lucifer.

So with Evil Light's nature of affecting both Angels and Devils, I had taken him by surprise.

And I was 90% sure that I would not be punished for this by Rizveim. Why? Because here in the Old Satan Faction, especially in Rizveim's castle, Might made Right.

I remember that Rizveim would've killed Razevan himself in the OG Timeline after "I" had run away. Not because of his competence but because Razevan was (rightfully) afraid that "I" would come back one day for vengeance.

In his own words, "The disgrace that was Razevan, wasn't even worth being called a Lucifer."

Maybe that is why he had such an inferiority complex. But I shook my head, I didn't need to think about dead bugs. For now, I would act as I was required to the old Devil. And when I was strong enough? I would kill him the same way I killed Razevan.

But there was a 10% chance that I would be punished. That was the reason why I was currently paying lip-service to the old Devil.

"Bravo my grandson! If my father was alive he would've been overjoyed to see that the next generation of Devils were following in the footsteps of the old ones!" He laughed and gestured towards a seat. "Sit down! Let's eat!"

I nodded and sat down. Most of the Devils here being servants, sprang into action at that. Hiding their expressions of fear at me and quickly getting back to their duties.

"So what's your favorite activity?" He asks me as I cut into the steak served to me.

"I like flying." I said stoically. Man, this steak is good!

He nods giddily. "I did too! I enjoyed hunting the humans as they ran for their lives while we picked them off one by one." He laughs in nostalgia.

This madman. My eyes twitched but I sat stoically. "That may be enjoyable." Lying came easily to me as breathing.

Watching a middle aged man pout is disturbing I think to myself. "You should show some more emotions Vali-kun! Or you could become like Euclid here!" He said pointing to the stoic man standing behind him.

Euclid was a stoic figure, at least currently. But I know if I mention his sister then he would become… unhinged. I think and nod towards him.

"I'll take it into consideration grandfather." I commented and took a sip of the glass of water. Vali had been mistreated by his father almost all his life. So despite being 10 years old, he looked like he was 8.

And because he wasn't allowed to train, more like he didn't know how to train, I was only a Middle class Devil without including my Clan Trait (which made me hit as hard as a High class).

Fun fact, I was born a Middle Class Devil so that meant I was stuck at it for a decade! It's such a loss! If other Low or Middle class Devils heard me right now, they would cough out blood.

Devils are a long lived creature. They don't hurry anything. Even a basic law could take as much as a century to pass because the parliament met only 2 times a year. So finding a Devil that promoted to a higher class in decade was super rare.

Yeah, not everyone had the potential of Issei to equally challenge Dragon Gods just after a year of being part of the supernatural.

I would have to step up if I want to reverse all the damage. I sighed and looked at him. "Grandfather, can I have a request?" I ask lightly.

"Yes, yes! My boy, anything for the entertainment you just showed me!" He laughed and waved.

"Can I have a trainer? And may I please enter the library?" I didn't know how noble etiquette worked and till now I was just winging it, so I didn't want to presume that I was allowed anywhere like the training ground or the library.

"Sure, sure!" He waved nonchalantly. "Euclid can take some time out of his schedule every week! Right?" He looked back at his attendant.

"Of course, my lord!" Euclid nods stoically.

"There it is!" He smiles at me. "He'll train you once a week at… hmmm." He adopts a thinking position. "Aha! Every Wednesday!" I nod in acceptance.

He nods at me proudly. "Make sure to become even more evil and cruel, okay? Your grandfather will be very proud!" He puffs up his chest in pride.

My eyes twitched and I bowed. "Thank you for your generosity Grandfather. I'll strive to become the most evil Devil in the Underworld and make my ancestors proud."

He nods happily and wipes his… tears?! "Look at my grandson Euclid! He's already following in his ancestors footsteps! I'm so proud!"

I'm sure even I could not have hidden my flabbergasted expression but he didn't comment on it. Then I shook my head. "May I go now grandfather? I have to take a bath now so that I don't get any Razevan germs on me."

He nods in realization. "Yes! I should take a bath too. We wouldn't want to be infected by his weakness germs after all."

I bow. "Grandfather." And walk out of the destroyed entryway.

This meeting with Rizveim was exactly as he was! Crazy!

2022 Words.

Some quick vengeance because i honestly didn't want to stretch Razevan's involvement much- as Vali said. He is pretty weak. Maybe it was reckless of MC to "reveal" himself and his capabilities when he knew that Rizveim would kill Razevan anyway, but he honestly wanted to take his revenge himself. And I was also too tired of the trope of hiding MC's strength. Maybe it was dumb but... It should make for a interesting story i guess?
