Chapter 11 - Blitzkrieg (DxD AU Vali SI) CH5

Blitzkrieg (DxD AU Vali SI) CH5

Well, this chapter gets dark (as the previous chapter was foretelling) so... if you're not okay with massacres of fictional characters then dont read this, even though i tried to keep it pretty tame in terms of some other stuff I've read.

-Vali Lucifer-

We teleported to a plain grassy hill. It was currently night, but cloudy so there was no moon in the sky. The town ahead of me had lit the lights of their homes and streetlights, so I could still see people mingling around near the town plaza.

I didn't know what country I was in, but judging by the caucasian features in people I would guess that it's somewhere either in Europe or North America.

Even if I tried to distract my mind by thinking about my first teleportation experience, I just couldn't put off the thought that I was going to kill.

But I was an expert at hiding my true feelings, so my "companions" didn't notice a thing. "-now accomplish your task Vali. After this there are 12 more towns." Said Euclid that was acting as my taxi.

I sighed and nodded stiffly. He acknowledges by nodding back and unfurls his 10 bat-like wings to fly up to observe.

They weren't here to help make my task easier after all, so wouldn't even put up a barrier.

"Make sure to put on a good show half-breed." Sneered Katerea as she followed him in unfurling her wings and flying up.

I looked at the town emotionlessly, but my eyes could not hide my sorrow and melancholy at the act I was about to commit. "I'm sorry." I whispered and began chanting as a Magic Circle bearing Lucifer crest ignited in front of me. "[Barrier]" I said as I finished with my modifications.

Hypnosis. To keep anyone from seeing it from the outside and just ignoring it.

Physical Obstructive. To make sure no one could leave or run away.

And Infrared Detection. To know where each and every person was.

-A barrier made of inky black energy materialized and covered the whole town in a matter of seconds.

Huff.

I breathed a little heavily. Making a Barrier was always taxing when I also included my extra modifications, but it was necessary this time.

I unfurled my wings and flew up to the center of the whole town, listening closer I could hear that some of them had noticed something weird, so either they must be part of the supernatural or have some level of awareness for the supernatural.

Not that it matters. "[Parallel Calculation - X3] [Thought Acceleration X10]." I breathed heavily as the spells settled down.

Sigh. Now for the next part, if they hadn't noticed anything wrong before they will now.

Bright light erupted in the night sky, almost like it was dawn. But these people wouldn't live to be able to see the next one.

The light coalesces itself into thousands of thin spears made of Evil Light, pointing down in an almost anticipation of what is about to come.

I breathed heavily, while it took a lot of output, I still had a lot of gas in the tank. It's just that I had never used so much energy at the same time.

But I shook my head and focused on the task ahead.

Locating Targets. Successful. An unnoticed pulse went by the barrier, giving me information of everyone under it.

Targeting. Successful. The spears of Evil Light positioned themselves, following their targets if they moved. CLINK!

Begin? I looked at the silent town in dread for what I was about to subject it to.

"I'm sorry." I once again apologized in sorrow, knowing that even if they could hear me they would just curse me and my foul existence.

"I'm sorry." I apologized knowing that it would ultimately change nothing.

"I'm sorry." I apologized this time not to them, but to the innocence inside me, to the piece of my mother that I carried in my heart. She would have hated me after this…

Looking down, I could see that they were now beginning to panic now that the shock had worn off. So it was now or never.

I sighed. Pointed my hand up, the thin spears of light vibrating in readiness. Looking at the town, I uttered and my hand fell down. "[Lucifer's Execution]."

Fishh~

The spears raced down each faster than the other and soon-

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Each fell, splattering their targets into paste as they died not understanding how they died.

Wherever they struck, it made a small crater. By the end most of the town was destroyed and rivers of blood and destroyed flesh and bones were flowing through the town.

Silence.

And just as fast as it had begun, it was over. Turning the night sky back to darkness, clouds parting away to reveal the moon which shed its light upon my handwork.

I had just killed thousands. Thousands of innocents.

And despite having made it almost painless for them, I didn't feel any better.

I deserve this. I felt a disgusting feeling surrounding my skin, as if I was covered in blood.

The guilt of this would follow me for a long time. I knew this without a shadow of doubt.

I gulped down the feeling of vomit as I felt Euclid and Katerea close into my position. I couldn't look weak, not now. Not ever. For the lives I had reaped for my ambition should not deserve to die for nothing.

I'll make their deaths worth it. I thought in desperation. I have to.

The sound of clapping hits my face, making me scowl as I turn to the stoic Euclid and the grinning Katerea who was now looking at me like a piece of meat.

"What a show, boy! Rizveim was right! You truly are a Lucifer! Such cruelty! Such brutality! Such evilness!" She moans, her breath heavy and face blushing.

I looked at her disgusted, but looked towards the stoic Euclid, waiting for his judgment. "... It was done beautifully, Vali." Was that approval in his eyes?

A moan turns my attention back to the brown haired woman that was… why the heck is fondling herself in public!?

"And then you were like 'Lucifer's Execution!' and then the spears fell and-" She started heavily breathing and moaning as she touched her hardened nipples through her clothes.

It was at that moment that I understood, despite all the darkness and seriousness of this world. It still was, and always will be, an ecchi anime world.

"Cease your behavior Lady Leviathan. We still have more places to be." And that instantly sent my mood plummeting down. "We wouldn't want to keep Lord Lucifer waiting, would we?"

She breathed heavily, and nodded quickly. "No we would not." But then looks at me with a blush once again and smiles sultry at me.

Unfortunately, I didn't like sticking 'it' in crazy, so whatever fantasy that you're cooking up in your head is just going to be a fantasy! I scowled and scooted closer to Euclid as a Teleportation Circle ignited underneath us and whisked us away to the next location.

To the next graveyard.

I executed [Lucifer's Execution] twelve more times. Almost each one being the same, flying up high into the air after setting up a barrier and then-

Light. Blood. Rivers of blood.

By the end of it I was breathing heavily, my reserves running almost dry and I was on the verge of collapse.

Unfortunately, it seemed that the thirteenth town we visited had some Exorcists stationed in the Church as my weak Evil Light spears had failed to pierce them and judging by the heat signature, they were inside still alive.

Why? Why!? Why do you want me to kill you with my hands!? I would've cried out if I wasn't so tired.

Unfortunately, I didn't have even enough for one big blast. I coldly looked at the white church that was red from the blood of the fallen townspeople, my eyes hollow as I walked inside.

Bang! Bang!

It was very well-maintained and it was clear that it was for love. Standing in front of me were three people, two of whom were clearly Exorcists judging from their parody lightsabers. But the last one was an old man wearing a priest's father-type clothing.

While both the Exorcists were brandishing their lightsabers and had fired their bullets as soon as I entered, the Father hadn't even turned back to look at me and focused on his prayer.

My enhancements were still operating so I easily dodged the bullets. The Exorcists on the right look at me with fear and rage. "Why!? Why did you do this?! Why are you Devil's so evil!" She cried out firing her bullets once more as she tried to shorten the distance between us.

I let her, and dodged the bullet. As she tries to hit me with her lightsaber another bullet passes from the side of my head. The male Exorcist taking the chance.

For a moment we were on equal grounds, as she tried to slice me head off with her lightsaber and the other one supported her with bullets. All the while both of them screamed their curses at me.

"-Jessie and Parker were just going to get married! Then- then you ruined everything!" She screamed, finally giving me the opening I needed and I flicked the Orachicalum knife (that I had nicked from the kitchen) into my hand. Sharpening its edges with the fumes of my leftover magic I sliced.

Thud!

-and her head fell, showering me with her blood.

Her companion, the male Exorcist yelled out. "NO! JOHANNA!" He jumps at me with reckless abandon. "You bastard!"

But it was futile and I sliced at the opening provided to me.

Thud!

-his head falls, but his body keeps moving towards me as if not recognising that it was dead. The walking corpse took a few steps to me and finally collapsed, also covering me with its blood.

The church is silent, the whole town is silent, just the muttering prayers of the kneeling priest evidence that there were once people here.

People that I killed.

I walked towards him, my footsteps ringing inside the silent church. But he still continues his prayers as if not realizing that I was standing behind him.

I looked at him with my hollow eyes, and put a hand on his shoulder which finally stopped him. But he doesn't react, just keeps kneeling in the position.

As if waiting for something.

What is he waiting for? I looked around confused. He wasn't performing some magic and expecting a miracle of God was folly as God was dead.

But then it hit me. I looked at him grimly. He's waiting for me to kill him.

This man had accepted his death. It wasn't something cowardly, but a mere fact. And he didn't want his last words to plead for the mercy that would never come.

I looked at him sadly and shook my head. Leaving him alive would be even more punishment after I killed all his friends.

For the first time tonight, I said something. "May you and all your friends find yourself in Heaven." And I sliced.

Thud!

-and I was once again doused by the fountain of blood as this task, this cursed night finally came to an end. I looked up at the Holy Cross holding the statue of the Holy Son, and I smirked a hollow smile.

"How fitting." I commented as I started walking out of the church.

The statue of Christ behind me, pure white marble almost untouched by the blood of not for the two red tears of blood exiting his eyes.

Did you like it? Did you not? Honestly i think it came out pretty good. Just the right amount of darkness, aura and some tragedy.
