Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Reincarnation Error, Transmigration Begins!

In the summer of 20XX, when a certain system was traversing into World D95, it ran into spatial turbulence, and an otaku who was about to take his keys and go collect rent was directly killed by the traversal.

To avoid leaving a bad record in World D95, the at-fault system privately reached a settlement and compensation agreement with the otaku it had killed.

The otaku's parents were both alive, he had a car and an apartment, but he did not live happily. When he was young, his parents threw themselves into their work, and by the time he grew up, all they had left him was a cold apartment and a monthly trip to collect rent.

He was rather starved for love, because all of his parents' affection had been given to his "alt-account" little brother. He did not feel much attachment to this real world, so among the options the system offered to resurrect him, he chose to go to lower-dimensional 2D worlds and search for that wall full of figure "wives" he had pinned his emotions on in reality.

The system agreed, but when it came to choosing the manner of reincarnation, in order to gain power that would better adapt to the rules of different worlds, the otaku chose Broly from the Dragon Ball world, a downright stat monster whose physical strength and energy growth were terrifyingly high.

Soul reincarnation begins...

The system brought the otaku's soul to the Dragon Ball world, but when it was about to place his soul into Broly's mother's womb for reincarnation, the at-fault system, because it was too absorbed in building the Crystal Palace System, forgot to add protection to the otaku's soul.

By the time the Crystal Palace System was finished six months later, the otaku's soul had already been absorbed and recombined by the powerful embryo of the mutated Saiyan.

Although the soul was still that otaku's, its structure had been greatly altered. It could be called a true reincarnated body, rather than the original otaku.

After stuffing the finished Crystal Palace module into the new soul, the guilty system, knowing it was in the wrong, only left a hurried promise that it would come back to compensate him once it got successful, and then rushed to leave the Dragon Ball world.

....

Time passed, and it became Age 732.

That year, the wrongly reincarnated Broly was born, and his mother passed away.

In the same year, because his measured potential was far too strong, Broly was sent by King Vegeta to Planet Vampa.

When Paragus found out, he rushed to Planet Vampa.

But their spaceship was damaged, and this father and son pair became stranded on Planet Vampa.

....

Time flashed by, and it became Age 737.

That year, Saiyans scattered throughout the universe performing missions were suddenly summoned back to Planet Vegeta.

Just as Bardock, sensing that something was wrong, stole a spaceship, put his youngest son with a power level of only 2 inside, and launched him toward a remote planet called Earth...

On Planet Vampa, a food-gathering operation was taking place at the same time.

Under a cloudless sky, a figure with a spider shell on his head approached the top of the cavern opening that served as the Vampa spiders' nest, then dropped from the sky in a flash, smashing through the cavern ceiling.

Sensing the disturbance, a rustling sound rose up as the spiders guarding the nest crawled out from inside the cavern, staring at the intruder who had barged into the hatching cavern of their clan.

"I've come to trade for food with you again. This is Baaya blood, I'm trading it for two of your eggs. I'm putting the blood here, and I'll just take the eggs myself."

The child who had crashed into the cavern said this, then grabbed two spider eggs each larger than his own body and bolted out of the Vampa spiders' hatching cavern.

Outside, an overwhelming number of spiders had already crawled up from underground. The smaller ones had power levels around two thousand, while the larger ones could reach three thousand.

As for the massive spider at the very back, whose body was as big as a small hill and whose carapace was pitch-black, that was the leader of this spider colony, with a power level around five thousand.

When the massive spider saw Broly, its eyes instantly turned blood-red. Its eight legs clacked as it charged toward Broly in midair.

Broly, however, seemed already long used to being chased by the Vampa spider boss. He raised his hand and fired three ki blasts in a triangular pattern at the plain below. After a huge cloud of dust was blasted up, he lowered his flying altitude and dove into that cloud of dust.

Thunder rumbled overhead as the gigantic Vampa spider thundered past with a swarm of Vampa spiders. Because the Vampa spiders' heads could only twist at limited angles, they could not see the area immediately beneath themselves.

Thus, Broly hid with two spider eggs in a crack in the ground. After the rumbling overhead had passed, he flew out and headed in the opposite direction from where the spider colony was charging.

By his count, he had already been living on Planet Vampa for five years, and had been eating that swarm of Vampa spiders for five years. Compared with the bitter taste of adult Vampa spiders, the bitterness of their eggs could be reduced by more than half, and the fresher the eggs, the more that was the case.

However, although Vampa spiders were not that smart, they cared a great deal about the eggs nurturing their offspring. Compared with luring out a single Vampa spider that collected Baaya blood to go hunting and letting it get eaten, taking eggs was much harder. It required breaking into the nests guarded by large numbers of Vampa spiders to carry out a very dangerous "trade."

As his strength increased and he learned more about Vampa spider habits, this kind of forced egg-trading was no longer a big problem for Broly. Every time he used the smoke-screen retreat tactic, it worked; one could say it had never failed.

The only pity was that, to this day, Broly still had not figured out how to tame Vampa spiders. If he wanted to get the freshest eggs right from under a Vampa spider's butt, he could only rely on luck.

Sometimes, when he was lucky, he could grab one or two freshly laid eggs from right under that gigantic spider's butt. But perhaps because he had forcibly traded for the eggs the producer had just laid right in front of it too many times, that gigantic Vampa spider had come to bear a grudge against him.

Even so, it was not a big deal. That gigantic Vampa spider's power level was only a little over 5000, and it had the obvious handicap of not being able to fly.

For Broly, whose base form power level had already surpassed ten thousand not long ago, to the point where a scouter could no longer read his value at all, taking that spider down would not be any harder than dealing with some ordinary Vampa spiders.

The only reason he had not eliminated that gigantic Vampa spider was mainly because of the voice in his head constantly reminding him to "pay attention to protecting the planet's ecological environment."

Planet Vampa was a world with a harsh environment, and not every kind of monster that lived on it could be used as food.

For example, the Baaya beasts that formed green fungal carpets, with the pelts of animals and the photosynthetic ability of plants, belonged to the inedible type of monster. Their blood was highly corrosive, and their flesh was like fur pelts, without a trace of nutrition.

Broly's father, Paragus, had once played the role of Shennong and tried eating Baaya hide, flesh, and blood. The result was that he almost had diarrhea so bad he rocketed into the sky. If not for the Saiyans' strong vitality, he would probably have gone straight to report in at the Eighteen Levels of Hell.

Thus, the Vampa spiders, whose numbers were fairly large and whose flesh was safe to eat, were a precious edible monster species.

If they were eaten and killed without restraint, it would be easy for the Vampa spider colony to go extinct, and then, with no food left, Broly and Paragus would starve to death as well.

This was why, when he came to get eggs, Broly would bring a carapace full of Baaya blood to trade. The goal was to simulate the natural process wherein, while Vampa spiders absorbed Baaya blood, some individuals would be eaten by the Baaya.

Carrying two spider eggs, Broly quickly flew back to his own nest on a mountain peak. Inside the nest were many containers made from the leftover carapaces of eaten Vampa spiders, filled with the rare rainwater that only fell during the occasional violent rainstorms on Planet Vampa.

Although the water inside smelled fishy, compared to Vampa spider bodily fluids, it was one of the easier-to-swallow things they could drink.

Scooping up two handfuls of the yellowish liquid from a clay jar and drinking it, Broly then lifted a flat stone slab sitting nearby.

Hardly any greenery could be seen on Planet Vampa. Making a fire was wishful thinking; the only thing they could use was the geothermal energy beneath the planet's crust.

As for an iron pot, Broly had not yet found any iron ore, so if he wanted to fry something, he could only use a stone slab—that was his natural stone-grilling tool.

His father had not yet returned with the Baaya blood, but his stomach was already growling. Broly did not plan to wait for his father; he intended to cook his spider eggs first and fill his belly.

Just as he lifted the stone slab and walked outside, before he could fly out of the cave entrance, a new line of information surfaced in his consciousness: "Crystal Palace fully charged. Perform world transmigration now?"

Broly: "?"

Ever since he was born, various pieces of information had always surfaced in his mind, and Broly could not understand every one of them.

"Crystal Palace, what's that?"

"Crystal Palace is a system module edited by System Z0186, paid as a private settlement compensation to a native of the D95 origin world after an accident occurred during system traversal."

"Its function is to serve, in lower-dimensional worlds, as an exclusive system for the native of the D95 origin world who accepted the private settlement compensation, allowing him to re-conquer and collect his own wives."

Clear information appeared in his consciousness; the Crystal Palace gave Broly a precise explanation.

"Who is the native of World D95?"

"You are."

"What is a 'wife'?"

"A partner."

"Can you eat it?"

This time the Crystal Palace module paused for a moment, and only after what seemed like a round of contextual analysis did it give a precise answer: "You can eat them, and they will also give you food."

After this back-and-forth, in Broly's straightforward mind, the concepts of "wife" and "food" slowly became equated.

"Will the host perform world transmigration now? Reminder: the Crystal Palace module is in its initial phase. When its time-space energy storage is full, it cannot accumulate any extra time-space energy. If you do not perform world transmigration now, it will cause a waste of time-space energy."

Broly originally wanted to ask what "world transmigration" was, but when he heard the word "waste," although he did not know what time-space energy was, he reflexively gave the answer befitting a thrifty child: "Waste is not allowed. I want to transmigrate. I'll transmigrate now."

"Received. Dropping D95 origin world anchor point. Initiating search for lower-dimensional world. World matched. Establishing transmigration coordinates..."

"Bang~"

With a dull thud as the stone slab fell to the ground, Broly's figure vanished from where he stood.
