Evelin's POV
I watched Jimmy stride toward our table with that trademark arrogance radiating from every step. His entourage shuffled behind him like nervous shadows, clearly uncomfortable with whatever was about to unfold.
"Funny how yesterday you were celebrating my birthday with me, and today you're here sharing dinner with someone else," Jimmy said, his voice cutting through the restaurant's ambient noise as he reached us.
Allen shot to his feet, positioning himself like a shield between Jimmy and me. "What Evelin does and who she spends time with—that's none of your business, Jimmy."
"None of my business?" Jimmy's tone turned glacial, challenge sparking in his dark eyes.
"You two are done. Over. Ancient history," Allen fired back, contempt dripping from every word.
Jimmy's gaze locked onto mine, completely dismissing Allen's presence. "Over? That's rich. I never agreed to any breakup."
