The Mindscape
The vast mindscape was no longer a dark, flooded sewer choked by iron bars and forgotten hatred.
It had been completely reborn into an infinite expanse of pure, radiant white, glowing with an ethereal energy that dissolved every shadow.
Resting gracefully at the center of this boundless space sat Kurama.
He was no longer the raging, crimson-furred demon beast of legend.
Through the absolute purity of Naruto's chakra control and his spiritual comprehension, the Fox had evolved beyond his former state. His fur shone like polished alabaster, catching the celestial light of the mindscape, while his nine massive tails drifted smoothly through the air like banners of divine judgment.
His sharp golden eyes tracked the golden-haired boy standing before him.
Kurama watched Naruto for a quiet moment, a faint, dry smirk playing across his massive snout.
"You are wasting your energy, Naruto," Kurama rumbled, his voice echoing through the light like distant thunder, completely devoid of his ancient malice. "The Uchiha are far too arrogant, far too blinded by their own tragic bloodline. They won't bow to a child so easily."
Naruto stood with his hands tucked casually into his pockets.
His expression remained serene, but a cold, razor-sharp smile touched his lips.
"They will bow."
Kurama's massive tails stirred, fanning out softly against the white expanse.
"You truly believe they will listen to your words?"
A terrifying, unshakeable brilliance flared within Naruto's deep blue eyes.
"By hook or by crook... through understanding or through sheer force. They will change."
Silence fell over the mindscape as Kurama processed the sheer weight behind those words.
The Fox lowered his massive head closer to Naruto, his golden eyes narrowing into thin vertical slits.
"And if Konoha decides they can no longer tolerate your presence after this? What if they turn their blades on you?"
Naruto merely shrugged, completely unfazed by the possibility of an entire hidden village turning against him.
"Then the world is a very large place."
He took a slow, deliberate step forward.
"If they refuse to change, I won't waste another second of my time on people or places that are destined to rot."
Kurama looked at him intently.
A low chuckle began to rumble deep within his chest.
"So we'll simply have to find a new place to call home."
A subtle, mysterious smile appeared on Naruto's face.
"I already have a few locations in mind."
He paused for a fraction of a second, his gaze shifting toward the glowing seal at the edge of the space where dozens of paralyzed White Zetsu clones remained bound.
"But if we are forced to leave to survive... we won't exit quietly."
His smile sharpened.
"We will leave with a grand, unforgettable display."
Amusement flashed brightly in Kurama's divine eyes.
The beast bared his immaculate white fangs in a grim, satisfied grin.
"Then I assume we will soon be invoking the wrath of Mahadev?"
Naruto smiled softly.
"Exactly."
All doubt vanished from his eyes, replaced by absolute resolve.
"Whether they desire it or not... revolution is coming."
Naruto closed his eyes for a quiet moment, letting the stillness of the mindscape settle over his soul.
When he opened them again, his voice resonated with an ancient wisdom.
"As Lord Krishna taught in the Gita... change is the ultimate law of the universe."
A heavy silence enveloped the white mindscape.
Kurama stared at the young boy standing before him.
He finally understood.
Naruto wasn't merely trying to salvage a broken Uchiha clan.
He was willing to force the world itself to evolve.
And if Konoha refused to evolve, Naruto was fully prepared to leave it behind and find somewhere that would.

Somewhere Far from Konoha
Deep within the claustrophobic dampness of a subterranean cave, Orochimaru stood alone.
His pale golden eyes with their slit pupils were fixed upon a small, flickering flame, but his mind drifted through much darker waters.
Naruto Uzumaki.
The more intelligence he gathered on the boy, the more enigmatic and unnatural he proved to be.
A dangerous curiosity coiled inside Orochimaru's chest, sparking a continuous train of thought.
When will the timing be right?
He had no desire to touch the boy prematurely.
Not yet.
First, he needed to observe.
He had to measure the child's true capabilities, test the limits of his mental resilience, and map his psychological boundaries.
And then—
When the inevitable moment of vulnerability presented itself, he would apply enough calculated pressure to force the young Jinchūriki to his knees.
Every living creature had a breaking point, after all.
A snake-like, razor-thin smile curled onto Orochimaru's lips.
Then—
Vwoooosh!
The space directly in front of him suddenly distorted, bending and twisting into a violent whirlpool.
Orochimaru's eyes narrowed into sharp, lethal slits.
Two figures emerged from the center of the spiraling void.
The first was a man wearing a swirling orange mask.
Tobi.
Directly behind him rose the void-like silhouette of Black Zetsu.
Tobi immediately raised his hand, waving with absurd enthusiasm.
"Orochimaru-senpai! Hello, hello! How have you been?"
His voice carried the same foolish, high-pitched cheerfulness as always.
Orochimaru stared at him in complete silence.
Every time he crossed paths with this masked fool, an instinctual, deeply unsettling wave of discomfort flared within his gut.
There was no concrete proof.
No logical reason.
Yet there was something unnatural about Tobi that made Orochimaru's skin crawl.
It was the exact instinct of a serpent sensing an unseen predator lurking somewhere in the grass.
"Tobi," Orochimaru said, his voice dropping into a smooth, flat hiss.
Black Zetsu cut in before another word could be spoken.
"Orochimaru."
His raspy, dual-toned voice was cold and heavy.
"There is a task for you."
Orochimaru raised a single eyebrow, tucking his hands leisurely into his long sleeves.
"Is that so? Well, as a subordinate member of your esteemed organization, I suppose I hardly have the luxury to decline..."
Black Zetsu completely ignored the sarcasm.
"We require intelligence from Konoha."
A flicker of genuine interest glinted in Orochimaru's golden eyes.
"Regarding what?"
"The Uchiha clan."
A brief pause followed.
"And the Jinchūriki."
Orochimaru tilted his head.
"I was under the impression that intelligence gathering was strictly your department."
Black Zetsu stared back, his expressionless, void-like face unreadable.
"Every single one of my spores and clones stationed inside Konoha has vanished simultaneously."
Orochimaru's smirk faltered slightly.
"All of them?"
"All of them."
For the first time, Black Zetsu's voice carried something beyond his usual stoic gravity.
"I can still feel their trace remnants... but not a single clone remains alive or active."
He paused.
"I must verify the situation first before I risk stepping inside the village myself."
His yellow eyes narrowed.
"Wasting assets is not a habit of mine."
Orochimaru stared at him for a long, quiet moment.
This was indeed unprecedented.
"So you are telling me that your vast network inside Konoha was wiped out in a single stroke?"
"Yes."
"And not a single survivor remains?"
Black Zetsu answered in a flat, chilling tone.
"If even one had survived, would I be standing here asking you?"
The spark of deep curiosity returned to Orochimaru's eyes, far brighter than before.
"Hmm... Now that is truly fascinating."
He bowed his head slightly, a subtle, twisted smile forming.
"Very well. I shall see what I can uncover."
Tobi instantly raised his hand, bouncing on his feet.
"Can I do it? Can I do it? I'd make a super awesome spy!"
Orochimaru glanced toward him.
Tobi pressed on with exaggerated eagerness.
"Please! Ask Lord Pain to give me this job permanently!"
Black Zetsu slowly turned his gaze toward Tobi.
A heavy silence stretched between them.
Then Black Zetsu spoke softly.
"We are leaving, Tobi."
"Oh... okay!"
Tobi nodded cheerfully.
"Let's go!"
Without another word, the space distorted once more, pulling both figures backward into the swirling vortex.
Vwoooosh!
Within the next second, the cave fell back into dead, quiet stillness.
Orochimaru stood motionless, his golden eyes fixed on the empty space where they had just been standing.
Then a slow, dark smile spread across his face, revealing a flash of pale teeth.
"Every single clone..."
A manic spark of intrigue flared in his eyes.
"Now this will be very, very interesting."
His gaze shifted toward the distant horizon.
"What on earth just happened inside Konoha?"

The Uchiha Residence
Naruto's departure had left the room in a heavy, suffocating silence.
"Mum?"
Sasuke tugged at Mikoto's kimono.
His voice carried equal parts irritation and confusion.
"What was Naruto doing here?"
He glanced toward his father.
"And why was Father so angry?"
For Sasuke, Naruto had never occupied the place of respect that Itachi held.
There was no honorific attached to Naruto in his mind.
Mikoto's hands were still trembling.
She quietly placed the plate of food on a nearby side table before bending down and taking Sasuke's hand.
"Sasuke, come on, son."
She forced a gentle smile.
"It's your bedtime."
She led him out of the room.
The wooden door closed behind them.
Now only Fugaku, Itachi, and Shisui remained.
Fugaku's massive frame seemed to collapse slightly under the weight of everything he had heard.
"Izanagi..." he repeated hollowly.
His eyes remained fixed on the door through which Naruto had disappeared.
"That boy knows about one of the Uchiha's most guarded secrets..."
His voice dropped.
"And he knows about the shadow hunting our eyes."
Shisui's eyes widened.
"But... who outside Konoha could possibly have access to Sharingan?"
Itachi closed his eyes.
An old memory surfaced.
A memory he had spent years trying to bury.
"...Naruto is telling the truth."
His voice carried a cold stillness.
His black pupils instantly transformed into the three-tomoe Sharingan.
"When I was eight, my Genin team was attacked by a masked man."
Itachi's expression hardened.
"He killed my sensei and my teammates almost instantly."
His hand slowly tightened.
"The shock awakened my Sharingan that night."
He paused.
Another fragment of the memory returned.
"I remember one thing clearly."
His eyes opened.
"When he was leaving, I saw a red glimpse in the single eye opening of his mask."
Silence.
"At the time, I couldn't be certain what I had seen."
His Sharingan spun slowly.
"But now..."
He looked directly at Fugaku.
"I am certain."
A beat of silence.
"That was a Sharingan."
Shisui's expression became grim.
"So Naruto really was right..."
Fugaku remained silent.
Then a different question began to gnaw at him.
"But if Naruto knows all this..." he finally asked, "why isn't he telling the Hokage? Why isn't he telling the village administration?"
His eyes narrowed.
"Why isn't he telling us everything?"
Itachi and Shisui exchanged a glance.
Neither had an answer.
Then—
Click.
The sliding door opened.
Mikoto stood there.
She had already put Sasuke to bed.
As she had walked him to his room, she had quietly channelled a small amount of chakra through her ears, sharpening her hearing—a basic sensory application well within the capabilities of an experienced kunoichi.
She had not intended to listen.
But the conversation had reached her ears.
And what she had heard had stopped her in her tracks.
Her face was pale.
"Because he doesn't trust any of us."
Everyone turned toward her.
Fugaku stared.
"What?"
Mikoto stepped into the room.
Her breathing was uneven.
"Think about it."
She clenched her hands.
"Kushina... my best friend."
Her voice trembled.
"Her pregnancy wasn't a secret. But the exact location of her childbirth was classified. Only the highest-ranking people in Konoha and a select few individuals knew where she was going to give birth."
Her eyes filled with tears.
"That masked man couldn't have simply found it by chance."
Itachi's expression hardened.
Mikoto continued.
"Someone inside Konoha had to leak the information."
The room became colder.
"The Nine-Tails attack wasn't simply some random disaster."
She looked at Fugaku.
"Someone gave that masked traitor access to Kushina."
Her voice broke slightly.
"And Naruto knows."
Mikoto wiped away a tear.
"He knows that someone inside this village played a role in his mother's death."
Shisui's expression became grim.
Mikoto continued.
"He isn't trying to save Konoha."
Her eyes hardened.
"He is shaking the entire board to force the traitor and the masked man into the open."
A long silence followed.
"He is hunting the hunter."
Fugaku's heart sank.
He finally understood.
Naruto had not entered the Uchiha political situation because he wanted to become part of it.
He had entered because he wanted to destroy the chain of manipulation surrounding his parents' deaths.
Fugaku slowly lowered his head.
"The coup..."
His voice cracked.
"Cancel it."
Shisui looked at him.
"Fugaku-sama?"
"Tonight."
Fugaku's expression hardened.
"All preparations stop tonight."
He closed his eyes.
"We will not walk into the trap."
They had finally understood the horrifying possibility.
The six-year-old boy wasn't asking them to trust him.
He was forcing them to question everyone else.

The Hokage Office
The atmosphere inside the Hokage's office was suffocating, thick with tobacco smoke and palpable anxiety.
Hiruzen Sarutobi sat behind his desk, drawing heavily from his pipe.
Seated around the room were Homura Mitokado, Koharu Utatane, Shikaku Nara, Inoichi Yamanaka, and Kakashi Hatake.
The tension was so thick it could be cut with a kunai.
They were waiting for Danzo Shimura.
More importantly, they were waiting for Shisui Uchiha.
The heavy wooden doors suddenly banged open.
Danzo entered, slamming his cane against the floor.
"The Uchiha are making their move!" he hissed without greeting.
"My ROOT scouts stationed near the Uchiha compound have been eliminated! Fugaku is consolidating his forces as we speak!"
Hiruzen's patience snapped.
He slammed his hand onto his desk.
The wooden surface cracked under the force of his chakra.
"That is your failure, Danzo!"
Hiruzen's voice roared through the room.
"Your spies are so monumentally incompetent that they get caught at the most sensitive diplomatic juncture imaginable!"
His eyes burned with fury.
"I did not authorize ROOT operations near the Uchiha district!"
Danzo opened his mouth to respond.
Hiruzen cut him off with a deadly glare.
Kakashi stepped forward.
"Lord Hokage... my report stands."
His visible eye was clouded with concern.
"Two hours ago, Naruto Uzumaki entered the Uchiha main residence alone."
He paused.
"He spent nearly twenty minutes inside before walking out unbothered."
Silence descended upon the room.
The council was utterly baffled.
In all his six years, the Jinchūriki had never approached a major clan, let alone the isolated and heavily suspected Uchiha.
Hiruzen had spent months walking on eggshells, desperately trying to prevent a civil war without resorting to bloodshed.
Naruto's unexpected visit to Fugaku's private residence felt like a match thrown into a powder keg.
Danzo quietly retreated into the shadows.
A cold sweat formed beneath his bandages.
If Hiruzen had secretly mobilized village forces for a worst-case scenario, then a war would expose ROOT's unauthorized operations.
Then—
Fwip!
A body flicker technique echoed through the center of the room.
Shisui Uchiha appeared and immediately knelt on one knee.
His breathing was slightly uneven.
Hiruzen leaned forward.
"Shisui."
His pipe was forgotten in his hand.
"Report."
His voice became serious.
"What is the status of the Uchiha clan?"
Shisui raised his head.
There was profound relief in his eyes.
But beneath it remained lingering shock.
"I bring good news, Lord Hokage."
He straightened.
"Fugaku-sama has officially and permanently dismantled the coup."
The room froze.
"All preparations for an uprising have been cancelled, effective tonight."
Shisui paused.
Then he delivered the real bombshell.
"Furthermore... we have uncovered a definitive lead on the true mastermind behind the Nine-Tails attack six years ago."
Absolute silence.
For three full seconds, no one moved.
No one breathed.
The catastrophe that had pushed Konoha toward the edge of civil war for years...
Had apparently been defused in a single evening.
Because a six-year-old boy had walked into a house.
"WHAT?!"
A synchronized shout shattered the silence.
Even Shikaku Nara lost his composure.
His jaw hung open.
Shisui flinched.
Hiruzen was the first to regain control.
His hand trembled slightly as he placed his pipe on the desk.
"Explain, Shisui."
His voice was deadly serious.
"Every single detail."
Shisui began his report.
He explained Itachi's testimony.
Years earlier, Itachi's first Genin team had been attacked by a masked man. The stranger had slaughtered his sensei and teammates and deliberately left Itachi alive.
During the encounter, Itachi had caught a glimpse of red through the single eye opening of the mask.
His Sharingan had awakened that night.
Then Shisui explained Mikoto's deduction.
Kushina's pregnancy had been public knowledge.
But the exact location of her childbirth had been classified.
Only a select group within Konoha knew.
The masked attacker could not have known the location without information from someone with access to it.
Finally, Shisui explained Fugaku's decision.
The Uchiha leader had realized that the coup was potentially part of a larger trap.
Someone wanted the Uchiha and Konoha to destroy one another.
And someone else stood ready to profit from the resulting chaos.
Fugaku had therefore dismantled the coup before his clan could walk into the trap.
As Shisui finished his report, the room fell into a collection of different reactions.
Hiruzen Sarutobi slowly sank back into his chair.
He looked twenty years older.
The possibility that someone inside Konoha had leaked Kushina's location—and indirectly contributed to the deaths of Minato and Kushina—hit him like a physical blow.
But something else disturbed him even more.
Naruto knew.
The boy wasn't simply surviving in Konoha.
He was manipulating the board.
Shikaku rubbed his temples.
"Troublesome doesn't even begin to cover this..."
He looked toward Inoichi.
The memories of Inoichi's earlier experience with Naruto suddenly made more sense.
Naruto hadn't gone to the Uchiha to ask for help.
He had gone there to disarm a bomb.
Kakashi stood frozen.
His hand tightened around the hilt of his kunai.
The mention of a masked man possessing a Sharingan had dragged old memories back to the surface.
Homura and Koharu exchanged pale, nervous glances.
If someone within Konoha's highest circles had betrayed Minato and Kushina, then the entire administration was now under suspicion.
And Danzo—
Danzo stood silently in the corner.
His visible eye had widened.
The Uchiha had stood down.
The secret surrounding Kushina's location was now being questioned.
And the six-year-old Jinchūriki was somehow moving the pieces toward the person responsible.
For the first time, Danzo felt something he rarely allowed himself to acknowledge.
Fear.
Then Hiruzen finally opened his eyes fully.
He stared at the people gathered before him.
The truth settled over him with crushing weight.
Naruto had called this world a world of lies.
Until now, Hiruzen had considered those words the cynical conclusion of a child who had seen too much.
But now...
He realized they were an absolute fact.
They had all been manipulated.
The Uchiha had been pushed toward a coup.
The village leadership had been pushed toward confrontation.
Konoha itself had been maneuvered toward civil war.
They had nearly destroyed themselves.
Hiruzen slowly straightened in his chair.
"We will hold a full council meeting ten days from now."
His voice was calm.
But there was unmistakable steel beneath it.
"Every detail will be reviewed. Nothing will be overlooked."
His gaze swept across the room.
"Every clan head and every department chief will be present."
Nobody interrupted.
"We came dangerously close to destroying ourselves."
His voice hardened.
"That must never happen again."
He looked around the room.
"We will discuss everything at that meeting. The Uchiha situation. The Nine-Tails attack. Our security failures. Our intelligence networks. Every hidden operation that may have contributed to this."
His eyes finally settled on Danzo.
"And Danzo!"
Danzo stiffened.
The sheer stiffness in Hiruzen's voice made him freeze.
He had heard the Third Hokage angry before.
But never like this.
"You will be there."
Hiruzen's voice became colder.
"And you will bring every detail you possess."
A pause.
"Every operation. Every intelligence report. Every contact. Every hidden activity."
His eyes narrowed.
"Everything from every dark corner, both inside and outside the village."
Danzo stared at him for a moment.
Then lowered his head.
"As you say."
Hiruzen leaned back slightly.
"Finally, before I dismiss you all, there is one thing I want everyone here to remember."
His eyes moved slowly across the faces gathered before him.
"We were supposed to be the finest minds in this village..."
His expression darkened.
"And yet, we were all danced around like puppets."
Silence.
Hiruzen's gaze hardened.
"Keep that in mind."
He paused.
"Meeting adjourned."
Danzo remained completely still.
For the first time, he wasn't certain whether Hiruzen was speaking to the council...
Or warning him personally.
The Hokage Monument
Midnight had settled over Konoha.
The village below was almost completely silent.
High above the rooftops, Naruto stood upon the smooth stone of his father's carved face.
The moon illuminated his golden hair.
His posture was relaxed.
His expression was calm.
A faint white shimmer of chakra occasionally flickered around his body.
The subtle radiance was almost indistinguishable from moonlight.
Almost.
Kurama's voice echoed inside his mind.
"The old man's heart is bleeding."
Naruto's lips curved faintly.
"The snake in the bandages is sweating blood."
A quiet chuckle followed.
"And the Uchiha have finally pulled their heads out of their asses."
Naruto looked down toward the village.
"A fine show, Naruto."
Naruto remained silent for a moment.
Below him, Konoha continued sleeping.
Unaware that its political foundation had shifted in a single night.
He looked toward the distant sector where ROOT operated.
Then his gaze moved beyond the village walls.
Somewhere out there was the masked man.
The man who had turned a single night into a catastrophe.
The man who had manipulated hatred, fear, and grief.
The man who had started the chain of events that nearly pushed an entire village into civil war.
Naruto's eyes narrowed.
"Danzo thinks he hides in the roots."
His gaze shifted.
"Obito thinks he hides in the space between realities."
A faint smile appeared.
"But both of them forgot one thing."
His fingers closed around a small wooden shuriken.
"They forgot who holds the axe."
The wind moved gently through his hair.
Naruto looked back toward the village.
The first domino had fallen.
He hadn't needed to use a single devastating jutsu.
He hadn't needed to threaten anyone.
He had simply placed the truth on the table.
And then allowed everyone's own guilt, fear, pride, and suspicion to do the rest.
The board had changed.
Naruto's eyes slowly closed.
When he opened them again, they were calm.
Cold.
Certain.
"The board has shaken."
His voice was barely louder than the wind.
"Let's see who can hold their position..."
A pause.
"Who chooses to change."
His eyes moved toward the Uchiha district.
"Who can still move..."
Then toward the dark administrative sector.
"And who chooses to leave the board."
The night remained silent.
Far away, behind walls and masks, people were beginning to question the positions they had spent years defending.
The Uchiha were questioning their coup.
Hiruzen was questioning his own administration.
Danzo was questioning how much Naruto already knew.
Orochimaru was beginning to wonder what kind of creature he was truly observing.
And somewhere beyond the borders of Konoha...
A masked man had just become the target of a hunt he did not yet know had begun.
Naruto stood alone above the village.
Calm.
Patient.
Waiting.
Because the first move had never been the objective.
It was only the beginning.
The board had shaken.
Now Naruto would see who survived the movement.
