Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Inko Midoriya was having a rather pleasant evening. Her son, Izuku, was out on his "Training Session" as the boy liked to call it.

She'd finally found the time to enjoy herself nowadays, especially after the recent pay raise that Hisashi had gotten at his job.

It was a rather peaceful evening. A day without much to stress about.

"You don't know anything ab-" She sipped her coffee, invested in the drama.

Ring! Ring!

Her phone caught her attention. It was rather unexpected for someone to call at such a time.

"Hisashi?" She said aloud. 'What could he want at such a time?' she thought.

Ever since her husband had left for the States, they hadn't had the time to talk a lot. He would rarely come on vacation, so their relationship had strained a little.

Ignoring those thoughts, she answered the ringing phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Inko, how are you?" A deep voice said, cheery but slightly rushed.

"I'm good, what's going on, are you ok? It's 3 A.M for you." She asked quickly.

"I'm fine, dear. Is Izuku there?" He asked.

"Uh, no, he's outside. Is everything alright? You seem worried?" She asked again.

"Everything's alright, dear, though, I'm gonna need you to sit down for this..."

Inko felt her heart sink, 'What's gotten into him?' Her eyes grew weary.

Somewhere in the States.

"Alright kid, I need you to make sure you've got everything packed up." A woman with pink hair spoke.

The boy in question only nodded at her words, he had blonde hair, ocean blue eyes and distinct European features.

"Starfire, can I talk to you for a second?" Another voice said from the side. It was a lanky man, wearing jeans and a sweatshirt.

The place they were in was a tight bedroom, one without much decor or life in it.

"Yeah, what's up?" The muscular woman asked.

"In private." The man said staring wearily at the blonde teen.

The woman stares at him for a moment, "Stay here for a bit kid." She started to move alongside the man.

The two walked into another room, closing the door behind them.

"Do you think it's smart to do this?" The man asked.

"What are you on about Kai?" She asked in return.

"I mean, sending him to Japan, isn't that too big a safety risk?"

"I already told you before, Hisashi is completely fine with the kid living with his family. Plus, the kid's better at Japanese than he is in English. He'll fit right in." She said with a sigh.

"No I don't mean that, I mean the kid, he's unnatural, it's too much of a risk for him to be away from us." The man spoke hesitantly, watching the women's glare grow.

"That's the thing, Kai, he's a Kid! He hasn't done anything wrong, nor has he committed a crime on his own accord, the Yakuza ruined his life by brainwashing him. He deserves to live a somewhat normal life." Starfire, better known as Lisa Carter by her friends, spoke in annoyance.

She was almost forty years old, and had kids around the boy's age, hence a maternal instinct kicked in when she learned of his case.

"I get that, but you gotta be honest Lisa, the kid is unstable, he hasn't seen the outside world in who knows how many years. You've seen how strong he is, it took three of our best to beat him. Hell those three are traumatised now, along with almost a hundred others. What happens if he loses control, he'll destroy others?" Kai blurted out his worries.

Lisa stared at the man, her eyes narrowing slightly.

"And what do you suggest? We cage him up for his life? Because others took his life away?" Her eyes softened slightly.

"Kai, he's a kid, he deserves to live like a kid. He's already had his childhood stolen from him, if Hisashi thinks he's safe enough to put his own family at risk. I think we shouldn't stop him from letting the kid have a little hope in his life." She told her old friend once again.

"Come on, Lisa, you know Hisashi isn't doing this out of just the goodness of his heart. We see countless other kids in situations like his; it's a common occurrence in our job. You and I both know that he's hiding something from us." The man said again.

"Maybe he is, but its got nothing to do with us. Hisashi wouldn't make such an idiotic decision; he's better than that."

"I hope you're right, my friend." Kai said one last time.

"Alright, I'll go and get the car ready." Kai said taking his leave from the small apartment.

Lisa sighed again, taking her way back towards the room where they had left the boy.

"All ready?" She asked.

"Yes." He gave a short response.

"Alright let's head out, we'll meet Mr Midoriya at the airport." She told him with a small smile.

The boy didn't respond and followed the woman's lead.

Inko Midoriya felt her mind in turmoil.

"I will kill him the day he comes back " Her voice was drowned out by the chatter all across the airport.

In a few minutes, she would meet her new son. Yes, that's correct, her husband had a new son.

The only thing that wasn't stopping her from booking a flight to the States was because of the reason her husband had this new child.

"Inko, they were good friends of mine. I couldn't watch their kid be thrown into the foster system, you know how bad it is." The man had pleaded.

Her heart felt a ping of pity while thinking about the boy's circumstances. She couldn't think of imagining of the same happening to her Izuku.

Speaking of Izuku, she couldn't help but wonder what her son would react to. 'Maybe he'll grow up a bit' as much as Inko hated to admit it, her son had received more than just hair.

The boy would cry at almost any situation, maybe the new company could change that.

Inko looked at her phone once again. The boy seemed rather handsome; it was clear that he was a foreigner with his distinct features.

Her gaze towards the terminal and the figure on her phone appeared in front of her.

"Over here." She called out, gaining the boy's attention. Her English wasn't the best, but it was enough to hold a conversation.

The boy looked at her for a moment before making his way towards her.

"Nice to meet you Mrs Midoriya, I'm Kaiser, Kaiser Midoriya."
