Chapter 10 - 10: Vibranium Jason, Meteor Strikes Crystal Lake!

Damon teleported behind Jason, pressing Chidori directly against the back of his chest.

The violent lightning continuously tore at Jason's exterior, the air thick with the smell of burning.

Even someone as powerful as Jason, before Chidori, his steel defenses were meaningless.

Under normal circumstances,

Jason would be dead without a doubt!

However, as Chidori continued to target his core—his heart,

all the lightning seemed to encounter a black hole, instantly being absorbed by some mysterious force.

The blazing lightning suddenly vanished.

"Not good!"

Damon sensed something was wrong and immediately blinked away.

Jason swung his machete backward, almost losing balance from the force.

Everyone could see a huge hole in Jason's back chest.

Inside the hole was another layer of dark metal.

"Damn bastard… don't let me find out who put vibranium on Jason, or I'll make them understand why roses are red!"

Damon's face darkened.

He was certain—the material that absorbed all the lightning was one of Marvel's three legendary metals: vibranium.

Only this could absorb any external energy.

Even the evil spirit Jason was now equipped with high-tech—absurd!

More importantly,

vibranium rarely circulates in the outside world.

If Jason possessed vibranium, he probably also had Adamantium.

Jason wasn't afraid of ordinary lightning or fire in the first place.

Now, almost all conventional fire and lightning skills were completely useless against him.

"What's vibranium?" Madison asked in surprise.

"It's a sound-absorbing metal. It has strong defensive properties while also being able to absorb kinetic energy, heat, and other forms of energy."

"Captain America's shield contains a portion of this metal, which is why he can charge through hailstorms of bullets unharmed."

Damon casually explained, but Tommy had no time to be shocked and quickly pulled the trigger.

Decades of practiced marksmanship erupted at this moment—each shot hitting Jason's chest.

Yet it had no effect.

"Don't waste your effort. Even if you wield a Gatling gun or rocket launcher, it's just tickling him."

"Wolverine knows? In a way, Jason is even tougher than Wolverine now!"

Damon quickly adjusted his combat strategy, clenching both fists.

A golden, radiant aura enveloped him like a shimmering veil.

A sacred force rose from his heart. Its warmth dispelled some of the tension and fear in those around him—even Maria felt a faint surge of courage.

"Holy Light!"

Damon whispered, forming a solar-like sphere of holy light that blasted Jason.

The searing glow carried a divine attribute—healing power rare to ordinary beings, but the most terrifying energy for an evil spirit.

Jason slowed noticeably. Black mists rose from him, only to be dispelled by the sacred light.

Holy Light—the power of the Light in the Warcraft universe—represents the divine attribute, a strong counter to darkness.

It can heal, defend (divine shield), and attack—an extremely versatile power.

Though Jason wasn't from the Warcraft universe, darkness is universal, and the holy light clearly weakened him.

Yet, perhaps due to multiple modifications and evolutions,

Jason emitted faint, tortured wails of the soul—yet remained undead.

Encased in the holy light, he stepped forward, each footfall heavy yet determined, moving toward Damon.

Originally, Jason had considered Tommy his primary target, but now Damon's consecutive attacks had drawn his aggro.

At this point,

the sustained burn from the holy light tore apart Jason's outer layer of flesh, revealing the dark metallic body underneath.

On his chest,

Damon saw the familiar octopus-like skull insignia.

"Sh*t! HYDRA again?!"

Damon groaned. How could he encounter HYDRA everywhere?

Marvel's strongest troublemakers—never doing the proper work, always plotting evil experiments.

Now they'd secretly upgraded the killing machine into a tech-enhanced evil spirit.

Undead + tech enhancement—aren't they worried Jason might go rogue?

At this stage,

Damon had no time to confront HYDRA.

He used telekinesis to form an invisible hand, barely restraining Jason in place.

At this moment, Jason wasn't just tech-enhanced—he had gained even greater power for unknown reasons.

Even Damon's full telekinesis could only barely hold him back.

"Tommy, what's your plan?"

After all, Tommy was an expert at dealing with Jason—perhaps he could offer some insight.

"I originally prepared eight different plans, but looking at this, none of them are going to work."

Tommy's face darkened. Even this Jason-killer found the situation extremely tricky.

"Damon, what are you doing?"

Tommy heard Madison's puzzled voice and turned to look, only to see Damon staring skyward, his right hand raised high as if summoning something.

"What are you doing?"

Damon's expression was serious.

"Ordinary methods won't work on Jason anymore. Against this overpowered evil spirit, we need to hit hard!"

"I'll temporarily hold him in place. You make sure to drive far away when the time comes—I'm going to summon a meteor and level Crystal Lake."

Damon had swapped Chidori for Tianxing, the ultimate ability of the Rock King Emperor in the game.

In-game, Tianxing wasn't particularly powerful, but in reality, it manifested as an actual meteor strike.

The effect of the attack depended on the amount of energy released.

With Damon's current energy strength, he could destroy several city blocks—even if not an entire modern metropolis.

Sure, Jason's vibranium body negated over 99% of abilities,

but Damon firmly believed that if the numbers were high enough, nothing was impossible.

You think you can withstand tens of thousands of degrees?

No problem—then I'll create millions, even tens of millions of degrees.

The fully unleashed Tianxing was even more ferocious than when he faced the little boy before.

Even a vibranium body might not withstand several times the boy's core output zone, right?

???

When I type a question mark, it's not me who has a problem—it's you!

Tommy's face turned pale.

Hearing this, he couldn't help but ask—who's the real villain here?

Jason just wants to kill a few people, and you're planning biological extermination!

Tommy quickly said, "Wait! Calm down, don't act rashly! Impulsiveness is the devil!"

"Right now, the only way is to get him into Crystal Lake. There's a special power there that can continue to seal Jason."

Damon shook his head.

"No, that's just a temporary fix. HYDRA will find a way to release him again."

"I'll do it once and for all—obliterate Jason down to atomic form. That's the safest way."

Throughout the entire Jason series, although he was supposedly immortal, his immortality was limited.

If his body was shattered, his heart could be revived through someone with a blood connection to Jason, returning him to full strength.

But if he's reduced to atomic form,

Jason isn't Freddy Krueger—ordinary methods can't resurrect him.

"But… this is New York!"

Tommy desperately grabbed Damon's arm.

"But this is the suburbs."

"But there's Crystal Lake town nearby!"

"I know. I'll minimize the impact, but you understand—facing an evil spirit like Jason, we must go all out. Any holding back could let him turn the tables."

Damon's resolve didn't waver.

Jason was going to die today. He said it—no demon would survive!

If he came all this way and only got 100 anomaly points, that would be a waste.

Madison suggested, "Maybe we can use telekinesis to move Jason somewhere remote first."

Tommy nodded repeatedly.

"Good idea! I have a compromise. The north side of Crystal Lake is a primeval forest—no people, the best place to eliminate Jason."

Damon nodded at the hopeful gazes of the others.

Soon,

they chained Jason and tied him to the back of the pickup, dragging him along.

Once they reached the target location,

Damon instinctively condensed his earth-element power.

Most of his internal energy was instantly drawn out, and the sky darkened.

Above the previously clear sky, a massive meteor several hundred meters in diameter appeared, dragging a blazing tail, hurtling toward their location at astonishing speed.

"WTF, you're serious!"

Tommy froze, then realized, "Wait, we haven't left yet!"

Damon's face paled slightly. He waved his hand, forming a blue energy circle underfoot.

"Hold on a moment."

He then moved all nearby boulders around Jason, forming a crude cage.

With that done, the teleportation spell was complete.

In a flash, Damon, Madison, and the others appeared at the ruined gas station they had passed while heading to Crystal Lake camp.

There,

they ran into Yurenka and her daughter, who were frantically fleeing by car.

Their eyes widened at the sudden appearance of Damon and the others.

At that moment—

the meteor fell!

BOOOOM!!!
