Damon's gaze lingered on Jenny, his expression a mix of surprise and amusement.

He suddenly recalled a line of poetry:

"The gentleness of her lowered head — like a lotus bowing in the cool breeze."

So that's all it takes, huh?

One "session," and you're completely devoted?

As it turns out, the path to a woman's heart truly runs through the rhythm of sound.

On this point, Comrade Zhang was absolutely right.

Damon had originally believed that only by earning Yurenka's genuine trust could her mother, Jenny, be registered by the system.

He hadn't expected… that "convincing" her physically would do the trick just as well.

As he ate, Damon began to analyze the newly unlocked functions of the Map Editor v2.0.

First, he maxed out all six of his core stats to 100.

Immediately, his constitution surged — his body recovering all the stamina and mental focus spent during earlier, uh, "high-intensity aerobic activity."

Then he tried the new Character Template function.

It allowed him to directly equip the traits and abilities of any person he had recorded.

Among the options were: Jason (Camp Crystal Lake), Madison, and Maria.

Without hesitation, Damon equipped the Jason template.

Instantly, his entire physiology changed — dense, heavy, unnaturally steady.

His brain rewired itself, responding to danger with automatic efficiency.

"Pain suppression — activate."

At his thought, pain vanished.

So did touch, fear, hesitation.

Even if he were subjected to every medieval torture device at once, his eyes wouldn't flinch.

Death itself now felt… irrelevant.

But Damon quickly disabled the mode.

Being fearless had its costs — when Jason felt nothing, he also died easily.

"Jason's resurrection requires an external energy stimulus or a soul-level summons," he muttered.

"Not exactly convenient… and I'm not keen on turning into a rotting corpse."

Still, Jason's data offered priceless abilities:

Supernatural Perception

Soul Resistance

Mind Corruption Immunity

Steel Body (Adamantium–Vibranium Hybrid Skeleton)

Adaptive Evolution — the ability to evolve new resistances after damage

Jason was effectively the perfect fusion material — his biology even compatible with nanotech upgrades.

Through the Evil Spirit Lock, Damon could now tag anyone he had met.

Once marked, he could sense their location across any distance — even teleport near them using Evil Spirit Transmission.

"And that includes," he smirked, "any woman I've left a… biological connection with."

In addition, the Character Model Movement function let him move any recorded individual across his 3D world map — including himself.

He could bypass walls, obstacles, even space itself.

Essentially, instant teleportation, with optional group transport.

"So I can drop the Blink skill, huh?" he mused.

"With this, I can extract anyone at will — or escape instantly if things go south."

His skill and inventory slots had both expanded to ten each, giving him far greater combat flexibility.

"At this rate, I wonder what version will finally let me summon templates directly into reality…"

It was inevitable — after all, a true Map Editor must eventually be able to instantiate his creations.

When that day came, he could summon cosmic-level entities, perhaps even multiversal gods.

Then, he'd finally be able to rest easy.

Meanwhile downstairs, Madison glanced suspiciously at everyone.

Jenny's expression was off.

Yurenka seemed distracted.

Damon… hadn't said a word through the whole meal.

Something felt wrong.

Too quiet.

But Madison underestimated Yurenka's cunning — and Damon's ability to multitask.

Even sitting right there at the table, they could "synchronize actions" unseen.

After dinner, Yurenka bounced up cheerfully and handed Madison a small green cap.

"Here, big sister! A gift for you!"

Madison smiled and accepted it without thinking.

"Thanks?"

Yurenka just grinned slyly. She thanks me — and she has no idea why.

Turning on the TV, Yurenka happily switched to the news, twin ponytails swaying.

NYC News Report:

"At 12:30 PM today, a small meteor designated 'Jason' struck the northern forest of Crystal Lake Township.

83 confirmed dead, hundreds injured. Property damage is extensive…"

The camera cut to jubilant locals.

Smiling, laughing, even dancing.

"Sir, how do you feel about the tragedy?"

"Tragedy? This is the happiest day of my life! Jason's finally dead! Praise the Lord!"

The reporter hesitated.

"Er… moving on— ma'am, your reaction?"

"He's dead! He's dead! We're free!"

Another man shouted,

"Eighty-three dead? Worth it! The monster's gone!"

The journalist forced a smile, visibly trembling.

"As we can see, the residents are… deeply saddened by recent events.

The Red Cross will be providing trauma counseling — led by renowned specialist, Dr. Hannibal Lecter…"

The broadcast cut to a donation link as the anchor's sanity clearly teetered.

Damon didn't bother following the aftermath.

After dinner came the evening workout.

He gave Madison a look — she caught on immediately and followed him upstairs.

Yurenka stared blankly as they disappeared.

Didn't he already exercise once today? And again?

"Mom," she muttered, "you're hopeless."

Jenny blushed faintly. "Yurenka… be a dear and do the dishes? Mommy's… tired."

Yurenka's expression hardened.

"Mom… you really disappoint me."

Three robed sorcerers appeared quietly before 177A Bleecker Street, Manhattan.

"Master Mordo," whispered one, "we've confirmed the meteor's energy traces. The source is somewhere in New York."

Another hesitated.

"Should we inform the Sorcerer Supreme?"

Mordo's gaze swept over the darkened skyline.

"No. For something this minor, there's no need to disturb the Supreme One."

"I'll take the elite circle myself… and we'll bring the culprit in."
