Ruby's POV
A deep growl rumbled in my throat before I could stop it.
Damn Elias. His jealousy and rage were making him blind to what was happening right in front of us. This was exactly what Bonnie wanted - to manipulate him into forcing me into this treatment.
"Fine then, sweetheart. Let's get this over with." Michael's voice dripped with lazy mockery as he gestured toward the treatment chair. "Do exactly what your Alpha boyfriend wants. The faster you recover, the sooner he stops breathing down our necks."
I stood frozen for a long moment, every instinct screaming at me to run. But there was nowhere to go. No other option.
With reluctant steps, I walked to the chair and dropped into it with more force than necessary.
Michael secured the same metal helmet over my head, then turned to face Elias and Bonnie.
"I'll need you both to leave now. This requires complete concentration."
