The Man Who Devoured the World

In a world where all living beings possess levels, each individual starts at Level 1 and can progress by defeating monsters and developing their skills. Those born with multiple special skills are considered God's chosen, dominating the weak. The protagonist, rejected by his village and scorned by nobles, possesses a cursed skill: it causes him insatiable hunger but secretly grants him a latent power capable of making him immensely strong, should he ever learn to master it. Exiled and forced to work as a day laborer in the royal guard, he endures humiliations, harassment, and oppression, particularly from the noble Burix family. Yet, he meets Roxis Heart, a just and benevolent Holy Knight, who saves him and shows him that the world can be more than cruelty and pain. Through his trials, he discovers that his hunger is not merely physical but a manifestation of his hidden power: by consuming (literally or symbolically) the forces around him, he can absorb power, skills, and levels. His destiny then becomes to devour the world, not out of greed, but to survive and rise to the top.
