In the world of Elyria, where Light magic is gradually being forgotten in the face of the rising power of Battle Aura and Darkness, the story begins in the peaceful village of Silverleaf beside the mystical Lumina River—a place that holds the lingering remnants of the Light Spirits from the Great Shadow War 150 years ago. The protagonist, Lucien Veyra, 17 years old, is the last descendant of the declining Veyra Clan. He successfully awakens his Light magic by summoning the Radiant Orb, marking the return of an ancient power long thought lost. Together with his childhood sweetheart and fiancée Elara—a talented swordswoman and the village chief’s daughter—they share tender romantic moments, from their first kiss to a sacred night of lovemaking under the moonlight during the Moonlight Festival, deepening their profound love through childhood memories and promises to protect each other.
However, the brilliant light of Lucien unintentionally awakens a lurking darkness, accompanied by the ominous warning from the elderly woman Mira: “The brighter the light shines, the more it calls forth the deepest shadows.” The Holy Radiance Church summons Lucien to the capital for training, forcing the young couple to part ways. Before his departure, they complete a joint mission to eliminate a group of goblins and a shaman in the Mist Forest, uncovering traces of the dark cult from the North, and exchange a sacred promise beneath the starry sky.
