Chapter 25 - Chapter 25

The mansion of the baron of the city of Teristan.

The afternoon arrived, and Dylan walked inside the mansion, gathering everything of value, although all he did was store the paintings, vases, crockery, and cutlery that seemed to be valuable in his magic ring.

"These wicked nobles left no gold anywhere; they are the embodiment of greed. I think I'll have to sell the things I got on the black market," concluded Dylan, who, after searching everywhere, even using his magical perception, could not find any hidden treasure or safe.

Dylan went to one of the sumptuous rooms with large beds, dressers, and soft white sheets.

He lay down to decide when he woke up whether to return to the viscountcy or continue his adventure. ...

At dawn, at the entrance to the mansion where Dylan had spent the night, were the adventurer Selven and the three officers who had survived the massacre.

"Good morning, my lord," said the adventurer cautiously.

"You have all done a great job. I am very pleased, so you have nothing to fear. I will not allow you to suffer," said Dylan, who was still hiding his identity.

"Thank you..."

"Thank you very much..."

"...

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The adventurer saw the heads of the three guards explode and almost wet himself.

"See, they didn't suffer." I'm very kind," said Dylan, laughing briefly.

He kept walking while Selven remained where he was, not moving.

"What are you waiting for? Find a wagon or a carriage and some good horses," Dylan ordered him.

"As you command, my lord," said Selven with a trembling voice and a somber look.

••••

A brown carriage, from which he had removed the emblem of the Teristan City Guard, was traveling toward the area where the war between the Acadians and the Zarcorian was raging.

Inside the carriage, Dylan was lying down, and floating above him were ice crystals that were almost transparent and "perverse red" in color.

"The sixth rank is great, now I can control the temperature of the water. I need some test subjects for my experiments, and I'll find plenty of them on a battlefield," Dylan thought with a smile, then yawned and decided to sleep.

...

A few days later, in the middle of the night, as the carriage moved forward, Selven had visible dark circles under his eyes, having slept only two hours a day, when he saw a campfire near the road.

Selven swallowed hard, thinking about what the psychopath traveling in the carriage would do if he saw the people by the fire, so he tried to just keep going, until he heard female voices calling out to him.

Selven shook his head, and the people by the campfire nodded.

"Selven, why do you say no?" Dylan asked in a cold voice from inside the carriage.

Selven felt a chill run through his body, then began to cough, and his breath became more noticeable than before.

"Forgive me, my lord, I won't do it again," Selven said without raising his voice as the carriage stopped.

The carriage door opened, Dylan got out and approached the campfire, where two beautiful women were sitting, one with dull blonde hair, tanned skin, and a slender figure, wearing brown pants that hugged her long, beautiful legs, a white blouse, and a mountain bear skin coat; the other was a sorceress with black hair, white skin, and pink eyes, who wore a low-cut white dress that hugged her beautifully curved body; next to the beautiful women was a young man with black hair, pink eyes, and white skin.

"Twins," Dylan thought when he saw the sorceress and the young man standing next to her.

The three people sitting around the campfire were cautious when they saw Dylan, who was hiding his identity under his robe and hood.

They saw Selven nod and thought that the passenger might be a troublesome nobleman.

"Are you heading to the war on the borders?" By the way, my name is Jean Wilson," Dylan asked, introducing himself and then pulling a chair out of his magic ring.

The three looked at each other.

"I am Rener Sesteriat, the son of a knight who aspires to a noble title."

When a person born among the commoners stood out far above the average, they were granted the title of knight. Knights were considered false nobles, but that title was the beginning of the rise if they proved capable of passing on their lineage.

"I am Lina Sesteriat, you can call me Lina," said the beautiful and sensual magician naturally.

"I am Angrid, I am just a commoner, so I don't have a surname, but if you wish, I can tell you my parents' names," " replied the slender woman.

Applause!

"I like you, you are very polite," replied Dylan enthusiastically.

At first they were cautious, but after Dylan made up some stories about his life as a wandering magician, they warmed up and had a pleasant conversation.

...

The sun had just risen.

Tears!

The three of them writhed in pain. While they slept, Dylan had injected them with a magical drop the color of "perverse red."

The twins' skin was covered in sores, and their blood temperature was rising.

"Why... why are you doing this to us?" asked Angrid, her white breath caused by her low body temperature.

"You must slowly disembowel them, then kill them, and I will let you live," said Dylan from a chair, watching them intently.

"I'd rather die," replied Angrid with resentment in her eyes.

"That's fine, you'll die soon," Dylan said mockingly.

The twins felt their body temperature return to normal.

"I like you two, it's rare to see twins. If you gut her and kill her, I'll let you follow me," Dylan said calmly.

The twins looked down. Lina was trembling, but Rener looked up with fire in his eyes and said:

"Will you really let us live?"

"Yes, I will. But do it before I lose my patience," Dylan replied.

"No, Rener, I'm your girlfriend, why are you doing this... nooo!"

Screams!
