Chapter 27 - Chapter 27

Rener had looked at Selven, and finally Selven replied in a calm voice and with a somber look:

"Currently, there are four of us. Unfortunately, my friend's girlfriend died when bandits of unknown origin attacked us. Now there are only two of us left, a 2-Moon wizard and my friend's sister, who is a 3-Moon wizard.

"What terrible luck," thought the fat officer, who felt disappointed when he heard Selven say that Rener's girlfriend was dead. Then he looked at them and said contemptuously:

"Your companions must come if you wish to register."

A few minutes later, in the military tent, the four of them stood before the fat officer.

The fat officer devoured Lina with his eyes, looking at her breasts, her buttocks, her face, and getting hard just imagining her being fucked by him. Then he looked contemptuously at the man in the robe and hood and said:

"You must show me your face if you want me to search you."

"I look horrible. Can my three friends come out and wait outside?" Dylan asked humbly.

"Do you think I have time for that? Show me your face or get out," said the fat officer.

Dylan slowly brought his hand to the hood, and the three people accompanying him waited expectantly, but before he could lift the hood, two magical drops of water the color of "perverse red" pierced the fat officer's body.

The blood began to rise in temperature, then dropped ominously, then rose again. The fat officer cried desperately and screamed, but Dylan put up a barrier so that no one could hear what was happening inside the military tent.

"It's a sin to want to see my suffering, but don't worry, I'm slowly cleansing your sin," Dylan said maliciously.

"Please stop," begged the fat officer.

"Kneel and swear honestly before the mana for your life that you will not say anything about what happened tonight," said Dylan, adding at the end in a deep, sinister tone, "Make no mistake, or I will make you see horrors, and we don't want that."

The fat officer knelt and swore before the mana, and the mana created a mark on his heart.

"Now register us as Selven requested, just as you would have treated us if you hadn't sinned, because I want to have fun, understand?" Dylan said in an indecipherable tone.

"As you wish." "The fat officer replied respectfully.

"Watch your tone, we don't want anyone to think I'm someone important," Dylan added as he left the military tent, leaving his three companions behind.

"The environment is as realistic and miserable as it looked in the movies, and like everything else in life, only the nobles have good shelters," Dylan thought as he walked through the camp until he reached an area where the dismembered bodies of those killed in the wars were being buried in mass graves.

Not far away were several large green military tents, which housed dozens of wounded people with serious to fatal injuries.

Some women dressed as nuns were taking care of the wounded, some of them using a golden power of purification and healing on those who could be saved with the power the nuns possessed.

"I think I can get some perverse points if I kill those nuns. They are the opposite of what I am, and that means Perverse Points. But I can't destroy the kingdom I live in, or I won't be able to enjoy my future life of pleasures. I think I should eliminate some enemies, and that will be justified," thought Dylan, who walked inside the large military tents and injected one of his red magic drops into each patient who had a chance of being saved, then walked back to his carriage.

A few days later. The Gray family mansion.

At two in the afternoon.

In the mansion's living room were Eva, Anelia, and a woman with black hair, gray eyes, and pale white skin, who was wearing a simple black and purple tunic.

"Anelia, this is Garia, a mid-level 4-Moon mage. I hired her because she has a treasure that will allow us to know if my grandson is still alive," Eva said calmly.

Anelia shuddered at her mother's statement because, even though her hope was minimal, it was something she clung to, and she was terrified to think how she would react if she found out that her son was dead.

"Mother... Mother, let's wait a little longer..."

"Anelia, you must be strong. The future will be more difficult. We must be realistic," Eva said with pain in her heart but with a firm look in her eyes.

Anelia opened her trembling hands, and in them she held a lock of black hair tied with an expensive blue ribbon.

Eva took the lock of hair and handed it to Garia.

Garia took a beautiful yet terrifying censer out of a magical bracelet.

The golden censer had a beautiful dragon sculpture on one side and a sinister human skeleton sculpture on the other.

Garia opened the top of the censer, placed Dylan's lock of hair inside, and then threw a small ball of fire into the censer, after which she closed the lid.

"Mana, you who are everywhere, you are the life and death of all things. Tell us, is this human still alive?" Garia prayed in a solemn tone.

Shortly after, white smoke emerged from the mouth of the dragon sculpture.

Garia smiled subtly and said to them:

"The young Dylan Gray is still alive. That is all I can find out with my treasure."

Anelia hugged her mother. She was crying, even though she felt relief, it also hurt her not to know how her son was.

During the afternoon, Dylan was standing under an awning in front of a table on which there was a large pot. He and Selven were handing out soup of questionable appearance to the magicians and warriors who were at or below the 3 Moons or 3 Suns.

As the magicians and warriors stood in line, they whispered among themselves.

"Did you hear? Most of the wounded are dying lately."

"Those Zarcorians must be using poisons or curses."

"Damn it, we mustn't be seriously injured or we'll die."

Dylan continued to distribute the soup, as that was the only task he had been assigned for the moment. However, in every bowl that Dylan and Selven served, there was a magical drop of "perverse red" color.
