"Hey Iida, you're the rules guy right?" She asked, double checking the piece of paper. "When it comes to wills, what is it called when you transfer potential assets that could increase in value?"
"Inheritance?" Iida clarified.
"Right, thank you. I'll be sure to leave you something nice when Bakugo kills me." Ochako went back. "Okay Iruma, since you don't have a room, how about I give you my apartment? I'm staying there for free because my parents built it, so I'll tell them it's fine for you to stay."
"A whole room to myself, thank you!" Nice to know she would leave this world making her cute fri..her close friend happy! That's what she meant!
"While I agree Iruma should get his own room." A bleeding Mineta butted in. "I feel you 'may' be blowing this out of proportion. Bakugou's an asshole, but he's not gonna flat out kill you. Even Monoma lived."
"He only let him live because Iruma was a bigger target." Ashido clarified for all of them. "I'm pretty sure he was one explosion away from actual murder, manslaughter at best."
"Come now, Uraraka is a fine young lady, surely he would hold back and not truly damage her." Iida spoke up, a bit annoying as every woman gave him a minor glare. "What?"
"Why would Bakugo hold back? It's a game, isn't it?" Iruma innocently answered. "Both players agree to give everything they have, right? He tried blowing me up during the first hero class just because I looked like someone he doesn't like."
"Yeah, some guy named Deku, right?" Ochacho said the name out loud. "It sounds kind of cute to be honest. A real 'you can do it' feel to it."
"You're thinking of dekiru, Ochako." Tsu spoke out. "Deku means useless."
"Who in their right mind would name a kid useless!" Iida asked. "It's insulting in the highest form you could possibly imagine!"
"If it's coming from Bakugou, then it's probably just another one of his insulting nicknames." Jiro rolled her eyes. "He still calls me earlobes no matter how many times I correct him."
"I know, he must have a really bad memory." Iruma, you really didn't quite comprehend how angry the boy was, did you? Well, at least his innocence would be a good last memory.

"On one side, we have the most violent student of the year! His power and skill are as unmatched as his bloodlust. Give it up for … KATSUKI BAKUGO!!"
" I'm just giving up on you. You're going to keep this up no matter what."
Neito, finally being allowed to breathe from his viney prison, nodded at the 1-A teacher's words. It seemed the gloryhound nature of class 1-A was a symptom of their own egos, and not the teacher themselves. Didn't matter in the end, everything in Class 1-B was better than 1-A anyways, and that even included the teachers!
"On the other one, we have one of the biggest hearts of the upcoming students! A lovely little girl who has plenty of guts. Cheer out for … OCHAKO URARAKA!!"
"Surprised she made it this far." Rin spoke up, looking over at the ground. "She doesn't have a chance against that mad dog, and she looks too innocent to be a serious brawler." And that is what made 1-B superior, everyone could do something.
"To be fair, not many here actually can keep up with him." Setsuna, the one out of two of their classmates walking on the line of traitor, actually defended the likes of their rivals. "I can tell, he's been training almost every use of his quirk for most of his life. He's been waiting for something like the sports festival to go all out."
"And now here he is, with the only limitation being his opponent's crying uncle." Kendo muttered.
"Ready … set … begin!" The girl was an idiot, rushing in head first.
"That's a bit of a risky move, rushing head first." Kendo observed. "I can get the idea, but making Bakugo float is only going to get her one second of reprieve. He's pretty mobile in the air already."
She was rewarded with an explosion to the face, creating a lot of smoke. "That had to hurt." Honenuki muttered as the girl got up again, growling as she took another rush, going in headfirst. "And she's going back for round two."
"It's almost like she's the opposite of Suzuki, she's avoiding all chances at dodging." Shoda observed as the explosion went off in her face again, rubble flying everywhere. "It's kind of hard to see the match though with all the smoke around."
That was the third explosion she ran into. He knew that 1-A was inferior but that level of stupidity was unheard of. What was … she … ah. A little smokescreen. "I guess she can take advantage of the last fight." So she was using Bakugo's own quirk to her advantage, biding her time to plan something big. Ha! Class 1-B thought of that plan first! They really were the superior class.

"Go Ochako! Go Bakugo!" Iruma cheered on. "You both can do this!"
"You need to pick a side you know, right?" Sero deadpanned. "There's only one winner."
"The whole point of the festival is to get noticed, right? They're doing that just by being amazing at fighting and stuff." It was pretty simple logic. "Besides, everyone is cheering for Ochako, but only Eijiro is cheering for Bakugo, and even then it's barely."
"I mean … he's going a bit overboard don't you think?" Eijiro noted the multiple burn marks on her body.
"What do you mean? Have you never been burned before?" Iruma looked back to the stage, and yeah, Ochako did look hurt, and he kind of wished she would dodge more, but she had to know what she was doing. "Those heal pretty fast if you treat them right."
"Fuck you." Todoroki spoke up. Well it wasn't his fault the guy didn't treat his burn right. And besides, it looked cool, gave him character and stuff!
"I'm going to add him to the list later." Toru spoke weirdly. What list? Was she planning on giving him a surprise gift? Todoroki could use something nice. "But come on Iruma-kun, even if it is a tournament, can't the guy show a little restraint? What if it was you down there."
"I'd dodge his explosions and flip him when he gets distracted." That's how it worked last time.
"Well not all of us have your freaky evasion techniques dude." Kaminari added in.
"Besides, evasion isn't always an option." Iida spoke up. "For example, a piece of concrete that would hit a woman who's trapped."
"Oh, I've been in that situation too! I was able to pull myself out before the wall fell over me." He didn't get why everyone kept looking at him funny, that was just how his life was. "It's not like we can just ask people or life in general to stop being dangerous."
"Didn't you call out the villain for trying to be dangerous and killing us?" Jiro asked.
"He was just confused because that sensei he mentioned gave him bad advice." He hoped he got to talk to the hand guy again. He never got his name. "And it's not like it's completely one sided, as soon as she gets a touch in, Bakugo's gonna float!"
"Suzuki." Tsu spoke up. "Bakugo can fly."
"..." The entire class was silent.
"Did everyone here forget he could do that?" Todoroki asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I did." He admitted
"Yes, but you're an idiot. I half expected you to forget." That was fair.

Aizawa watched as every second ticked by. It was an impressive strategy she was pulling together, a two sided prong, sure to get her noticed even if she couldn't outright win. "Oh the humanity!" Yamada shouted out like a moron. "Uraraka is trying her best but he just keeps toying with her!" No he wasn't. "I half want to stop the fi-" And this was where he drew the fucking line, breaking the man's nose.
"You're an idiot, you know that? You'd think being a teacher at a hero school would teach you a thing or two about how combat works." He'd sick the rat on him later, now he had to deal with another incoming headache; the audience demanded the fight to stop.
"This is just shameful!"
"He could end it so easily, yet he just mocks her by letting it go on!"
"Such villainous behavior.."
"Who the hell said that!?" Aizawa grabbed the mic from Yamada, who was still nursing the bloody nose, and yelled into it. "Are you a pro? If so, then leave the stadium and quit your job while you're at it. You obviously don't know how the real world works. Bakugo wouldn't be using his quirk at full strength if he didn't think Uraraka could handle it. He's honoring the student he's fighting by going all out, and the least you bastards could do is offer the same."
That shut everyone up, except Suzuki, who cheered even harder for both of his classmates. "Wow, Bakugo is nicer than I thought he was!" For the first time since the start of the match the boy looked downright offended.
"I WILL MURDER YOU, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Clearly not helping his case.
"Whether or not that's true, thank you either way." Uraraka was standing fiercely with pure determination in her eyes, matching the intensity of Bakugo's glare. "You took me seriously, and haven't taken your eyes off me the entire match." And the girl pressed her fingers together. "RELEASE!"
==
Bakugo blinked, a bit distracted by Dodger being a moron. Last he remembered round cheeks only yelled 'release' when she was letting go of something, she was making the hand movements after all.
But the problem was that there wasn't anything they'd been touching … unless … he glanced at the sky and gave a feral grin. "Clever girl." He actually didn't see this coming, and couldn't help but be impressed. Normally, something like this would irritate him to no end, because it looked like the type of plan Deku would come up with. But Deku wasn't here and Dodger was an idiot, meaning this was all Round Cheek's idea.
Staying close to the ground so he would create debri for her to use against him. Using all the explosions to blind his own vision. This was one ballsy bitch, one that caught him off guard. The right thing to do now was to go Plus Ultra and return the favor tenfold. "DIE!" Holding up one hand in the air, he released one of the biggest explosions he's created so far, the sudden burst actually forcing Round Cheeks back.
"Wh...what...how..that felt..stronger…" Of course it did. By prolonging the fight, he secreted more sweat, which meant more firepower. He literally got stronger the more someone tried to drag it out. "Even with that … you still had …" He waited for her to get up, shaking his arm. That last one actually jolted it a bit.
"You were strong...Uraraka." He had to think hard to remember that name. He barely remembered Racoon eyes and Shitty Hair's as it was. "You wanna keep going on now that your big plan was a bust?" He let his hand sparkle a bit, teasingly
"I'm not...going to...give up....I'll beat you...like...Iruma…" Uraraka gasped that last line before falling completely. Another stepping stone down. One that actually propelled him further than he expected.
"Ochako Uraraka is unable to continue...the winner is Katsuki Bakugo!" Half the stadium cheered while another half booed. All of them were extras either way.
"Way to go guys, you were both super cool!" Only one voice was noticeable to Bakugo from amongst the crowd. Dodger with that wide-idiot-eyed expression on his face, rooting for him. He knew it wasn't Deku, but he couldn't stand the praise either way. Once Katsuki officially surpassed him, maybe they could begin something...tolerable.
