"Here comes the man of hard times, the one who inspires power into classmates. Standing tall it's … EJIRO KIRISHIMA!!"
"Yeah, super manly introduction!" Of course, the guy would revel in the attention the audience gave him. Who wouldn't cheer for the pile of rocky muscles that the ladies always swarmed. Being in UA was no different than all of Minoru's years of school, always being overlooked in the literal sense for the strong meat heads.
The challenge was clear, but the payoff would be tremendous! The ladies will soon see him in the same light in no time.
"And his opponent! He may be short but his speed and quirk are quite incredible. That little brain and planing has brought him all the way to this spot, give it up for ..., MINORU MINETA!!" The stadium cheered on. He looked at the class, getting a little cheers … however, Kaminari and Suzuki WERE cheering him on, and he would accept it with grace.
"I'm gonna win this, Kirishima!" He shouted at his opponent. "You're not going to stop me!"
"Yeah, you're super manly, little guy! Let's make this the manliest fight possible!" Kirishima was kind. It would almost be a shame to beat him.
"Are both sides ready?" The ever voluptuous Midnight asked of them, every curve gracious emphasized with her thin as paper costume. If his goal wasn't so close he would've ogled the sexy teacher all day.
"HELL YEAH!" Both of them shouted. Kirisima may have had muscles and good defence, but brains can beat that anytime!
"BEGIN!"
Mineta began by tossing a ball right into Kirishima's path, the boy stepping on it through momentum even if he saw it coming. "Shoot, don't think I can't beat this!" The boy becan pulling, harder and harder, until the very rock came out of the ground … at which point Mineta responded by throwing another ball at the rock stuck on his foot. "Oh no."

"Well this isn't manly at all!" Tetsutetsu shouts at the fight, Kirishima, his red haired 'rip off', trudging through even with the baggage, slipping and hitting the ground as he was stuck to more rubble. "The purple shrimp is just trying to stop him without fighting! He's not even throwing a punch while he does it!"
"Trapping and detaining villains are vital for heroism, shroom." Kinoko tilted her head. "It's good to always have that option."
"Well yeah, but, it's not manly!"
"Exactly, 1-A is a bunch of cowards and losers who need to rely on underhanded tricks to get through." Monoma stop making this about your 1-A hate boner. Yeah, some of them are real assholes, but not all of them were that walking pile of flaming turds Bakugou.
"Cease your blasphemy, Neito Monoma! I won't have you disgrace the name of the angel a second longer!" Ibra released her vines and trapped their resident loud mouth in a cocoon of the plants.
"If you mean Suzuki then yeah, that guy is pretty manly." Tetsutetsu relented.
"Really, I didn't think you'd of all people would say that about the guy that's always dodging." Setsuna wondered.
"The guy ate his own headband and ran head first into another guy during the one on one, I find that manly." The steel user relented. "And during the entrance exam, he pushed me out of the way of a robot that I didn't see coming while I was chewing more metal for my quirk."
"We encountered each other similarly on the same day as well." Ibra calmed her rage towards Monoma.
"Wait, you said you chewed on metal for your quirk?" Awase asked with wide eyes. "I thought you just ment iron in your diet, like you ate a lot of meat!"
"Of course not, I become metal, so I have to eat metal. Simple as that." He didn't know why anyone would be confused. "If Suzuki can eat a piece of fabric without a problem, then how is that any more unbelievable?"
"I mean … you have a point." Rin relented. "We just have never seen you actually eat metal before."
"It's what I eat for breakfast, and as long as I don't use my quirk, it's enough to last for hero class. A bowl of nails and milk is a great way to start the day."
"I'll take your word for it." Kendo nodded. "Man, that guy is almost as relentless as you, Tetsu. He just keeps going." They turned to his copy, whose body was half covered in rubble and sticky balls.
"This is the will of man against the dark forces. Truly a friend of the angel." Shizokai, please stop blowing this out of proportion.

"Looks like I'm winning this bet." Kamui spoke up as Mt lady reviewed her schedule for the next week. Talk show here, patrol there, needs to be perfect to build that fund.
"Eh, not like I placed a lot of money on the little guy here to begin with." Mt.Lady rolled her eyes as she handed her bet to the wooden hero. "Besides, I'm going to win it all back with Suzuki's next match anyway."
"Just one, just one bet I'd like to win." Death arms mumbles. "But there's still a chance, the little guy can pull it off once that spirit fades."
"Better hope it doesn't. A heroic spirit that fades, that'll get you in trouble for more than it's worth." Kamui looked back at the screen. "The Kirishima kid is like a tank, it ain't stopping for nothing or nobody." Okay, the guy probably wasn't the sharpest one in the bunch, but he would push on through.
"So what's left in terms of competitors?" Mt Lady checked the list. "Katsuki is clear cut against her … Electric VS Invisible, and Vine VS Acid."
"Hm, I might be biased, but I'm going for the vine girl in her match." Kamui admitted. "Similar quirks and all, wood, vines, plants, establish a theme if she ever becomes sidekick material."
"I'm going for Acid, easily clear her way through." Death arms admitted. "And i'm going on electric too, as soon as he shocks her the girl is out."
"Oh, I'm definitely going invisible then. She teamed up with little golden-blue during the cavalry, I'm sure his luck rubbed on her. Plus I know that look in her eyes, she's going to win for somebody special, I know it." How could she tell? The girl was invisible.
"Your faith in the shrimp is outstanding, but it's going to be misplaced in about an hour or so." Death Arms wouldn't let up on the Suzuki boy losing.

Ganma Asui watched as Samidare and Satsuki still cheered despite their older sister's match being long over. "Yay, rockman is still going! Tsutsu and her friends are really strong!"
"Yeah, you think she'll bring them over to play sometime? That would be so awesome!"
Beru laughed at the children's energy. "You'll have to ask her yourself, you know." She patted their heads. "She's improved a lot. Acted the second the match started, ribbit."
"Ribbit, yes, she's a star in the making." Their daughter looked like she hung around a nice crowd too. "I was starting to get worried during the Cavalry battle, I hardly noticed what her team was doing the entire time."
"It might have been because of that brainwashing boy." The mother huffed. "She would have said yes you know, there was no need to force her."
"Yeah, I'm glad the Suzuki kid knocked him out too." It would be hypocritical of them to dislike the Shinso boy because of their quirk, it wasn't how they raised their kids, but no parent liked seeing their kid manipulated like that. "Didn't Tsu mention the boy after the USJ attack?"
"Yeah, he was a super cool guy that saved the teacher!" Samidare shouted.
"He looks really cute too, maybe I can be his princess!" Satsuki raised her voice.
"No, he saved Tsu too, he should kiss her and turn her into a princess, just like the books says."
"I don't know, Tsu said he was like the little brother of the group, always helping but always getting in trouble too." Beru looked back at one of the highlight reels, showing off the bright smile from when Suzuki won the obstacle race. "My maternal instincts are going off."
"Same for me, ribbit. How do you feel about adopting?"

"It seems Kirishima may be running out of steam!"
"Well his body mass has been increasing so far. It was only a matter of time until one of the fighters gave in."
Kirihsima was so tired, he was about five feet off from the ground, slowly making his way forward and trying to rip more chunks out of the ground, but his muscles were screaming at him. He had to get closer, he couldn't give in just yet. "Just … a bit … more."
"Give up Kirishima!" Mineta shouted. "You haven't gotten close!" Was the distance really that far? The little guy was just in sight, he could still reach him...he could make it, he could make it.
"I...I won't give up…!" His breathing was getting faster, the air seemed thin and hot, and he felt a swarm of exhaustion that he never felt before he started training his body for real. "It...isn't...mainly….TO FORFEIT!" He charged forward, getting that extra mainly surge of adrenaline pumping through his veins!
"Kirishima! Kirishima! Kirishima!" The crowd cheered on, every step closer, even as debris picked up on his body.
"I … will win … like a …. MAN!" Arms crawled along the floor, effort pushing himself further and further forward to his now frantic target.
"No, stay back, stay down!" Mineta kept flailing his balls, waving frantically as Kirishima plowed his way through the pavement.
"Let me … show you … PLUS … ULTRA!!" He rammed his head down against Mineta, a solid crack was heard through the ring.
"Such youthful spirit, it drives me wild!" Midnight cheered. "Minoru Mineta is unable to battle, the Winner is Ejiro Kirishima!" Heck yeah he won … now for the feeling to return … man he was tired. The ground was a good bed, right?
