Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Denki VS Toru: Casual VS Stalker

Tomura watched the boy fight on. "Sensei … have you ever respected an opponent?" He asked the man, looking as the girl was carried on on a stretcher, and the stadium fixed by some cement block looking hero.

"Not necessarily. I've admired the confidence and dedication to others foolish efforts, but never truly respected an enemy." Sensei spoke honestly.

"Hmm … What about if you needed to fight an ally? Like putting them in place?" Tomura asked, thinking about the concept of 'respect' this time around.

"Oh I've done that plenty of times. Respect and loyalty often flourishes when you can establish it properly. I've often had to prove to many why I rule this country from the shadows. Other Crime organizations flinch at the very mention of Japan's 'boogeyman', and as such, do as I say."

"So other organizations don't attack because they fear you." Tomura spoke up. "But not because they accept you like the followers you had … that All Might took …" That didn't quite sound right in his mouth.

"It's hard to quite understand, Tomura." Sensei continued. "When so many ideas of how the world should work come to light, they tend to reject one another on some level. The reason society is the way it is? The government is simply the strongest power with the most trust."

"Trust." One simple word and it suddenly revealed so much. "The reason why I hate everything...it's because this society trusts All Might..they trust him and HIM alone to take care of them."

"Exactly." Sensei spoke up. "And once that man is gone, society will begin to unravel, making way for a new era."

"A new era..a world without All Might in the picture." A world where people could have the clarity he had, the clarity that Iruma had, where there was no blind faith or complacency. "I'm going to need some of that trust for myself." He would expand the party. Create a team that would be united under one goal. "Maybe one of those brats would want to join … like Iruma … and Bakugo." The latter was violent enough, likely chained by this society, and the former was free from it's grip. Both just needed the right guidance.

"He's doing all right." Mitsuki smiled. "Flirting with girls, making it far into the tournament, using a name." These were all major accomplishments in her book.

"Yeah, I couldn't be prouder." Her husband agreed, wrapping his arm around her. "He's grown so much. He really likes this batch of classmates this time, doesn't he?"

"Absolutely." Just look at the smile on the boy's face, only 60% murderous, usually it's 90%. "He could stand to tone it down, but I guess that attitude is the price we pay for spoiling him so much as a brat." She could recall all the praise and adoration that she and the schools would often blindly give him. "I..I just wish Inko could've been here to see it with me."

"There's still hope. The Midoriya's aren't dead, we can know that for sure." Masaru comforted her. "If they were kidnapped, surely they wouldn't have kept them alive for a full year, right?" She gave him a glare. "I'll shut up now."

"You do that. It's impossible to hate the green teddy bear." Mitsuki tried to hide a chuckle. "I.. I could've helped them out more. Helped Inko with Izuku. Both of them..they're so emotionally vulnerable and I know it's not easy being quirkless...why didn't I help them more? Why didn't I?" She struggled to fight the tears.

"We did all we could." He hugged her. "They're husband wasn't there for them when he should have been, we know that." She would stab Hisashi if she ever saw him again. "And Bakugo...we know Izuku and him haven't been friends since they were four. The signs were there...we...just chose to ignore it."

She should have confronted the boy, now it was just quiet meals at night besides the occasional chat. "We didn't pay much attention to the world around us, did we?"

"I think that's how it feels to confront your own faults all the time." Masura nodded. "We can only hope for the best for the Midoriya's now, and start anew going forward."

"Start anew." She repeated, recalling what her son said to her a few weeks back. "That Suzuki kid looks like him, doesn't he? A blue, freckle-less Izuku? I'm not the only one who sees it?"

"Oh absolutely, they were such wonderful people you know, had the best barbeques." Masura smiled. "Wish I knew they had a kid. Maybe the three of them could've been friends."

"Yeah, maybe." The smile on Suzuki Iruma's face held so much innocence in it, so much joy, happiness that Izuku struggled to keep on his own face. She wanted to do nothing more than to protect it.

"A guy who's made waves during the Cavalry Round with an impressive knockout rate, lets give a shout out to … DENKI KAMINARI!!"

The boy kissed and waved to the audience, soaking up the cheers and adoration. This was his moment to shine! All he had to deal with was Hagakure, and he attacked indiscriminately anyway. It was in the bag for sure!

"His opponent, she may be unseen, but that doesn't mean she's gone unnoticed! From the Fly Gluttons, the winners of the Claravry Round, welcome...TORU HAGAKURE!

The woman walked in, and Kaminari waved. He admitted he liked the female form, but he wasn't going to be Mineta about it. If she was into someone else, he'd back off, still doesn't mean he wouldn't oogle a bit whenever curves came out. "Hope you don't mind a quick round, I want to make this as painless as possible."

"Funny, I was going to say the same thing about you." The girl said with more confidence than he was expecting. Seriously, she couldn't even use her quirk to its fullest the entire festival. "I'm going to win..for IRUMA-KUN!"

"On your mark … get set!" He began sparking. "And begin!" He gave off a low shock, making his way over to the pile of clothes … which quirky began flying at him. "Oh yeah, now you're mi-" It was at this moment he realized that the clothes were flying without a body, falling to the floor in front of him.

"... THIS IS WHY WE LEARNED FROM MIRIO FOLKS, TO NOT HAVE ANOTHER INCIDENT LIKE THIS!" Midnight-sensei got really angry.

"Okay, no matter! I'll just releash my quirk all at once! She won't be able to dodge!" Wait, but he didn't know how far or close she was to him like this. If he lets loose, he'll be a sitting duck, and Jiro won't let him hear the end of it! … Also he would burn her flesh to very dangerous levels, but the former took precedence!

This was fine, he could just keep a minor buzz and make her regret touching him. She was invisible, it would be easy to tell where she was once she got a hit on him. "I'm not trapped in here with you." He heard. "You're trapped in here with me."

Fukidashi idly flipped a page of his latest manga, second love memories, a spin off to an oldie, as Shizokai began to pray. "Oh lord art thou in heaven, please hear the prayers of this child who serves you, and bring ill fortune to the whore who tempts your angel." Drama queen.

"Damn, she's really crazy for Suzuki, isn't she?" Setsuna whistled speaking to Kendo. "There's jealousy, and then there's spite, and then there's what she's doing."

"I still say it's better than whatever you call flirting." Kendo snarked back. "Seriously, that stuff is just so violent."

"Nobody got hurt." Everyone took a glance at the still injured Monoma as she said that. "Nobody important got hurt." Ignoring the unimpressive yells of 'hey', Setsuna turned back to Shiozaki. "So what-taya say, Ibra, wanna try a double date after this is all over?"

"I will not be as uncouth and vulgar as yourself." The woman countered. "I shall be gentle and sweet, bid my time and ask him to a formal dinner when appropriate."

"So basically wait and watch the invisalign flirt with angel-boy and hope he doesn't like it?"

"No, I shall prove to her that she's a whore that deserves to die like a witch, burnt at the cross, if it was legal."

"Wait you fine with Salem witch hunts?" Pony asked in her broken japanese.

"Only of those who truly defy the name of the lord and partake in the power of the devil." Kuruio whistles innocently after that, scooting away from the girl.

"Alright, just saying, take too long and that cute little face will attract someone else eventually." Setsuna rolled her eyes and let out a teasing tongue. "He is quite muscly under that uniform."

"How would you know that!?" The vine hair was raised with spikes.

"Why does our class have all the crazies?" Shishida asked. "1-A can't be this bad right?" Monoma coughed, pointing to the stadium where the electric blong was being beaten up by a stone stick. "Wow, somehow they're worse."

"Someone agrees with me and has seen the light. Oh praise the lo-" Vines cut Monoma off, probably for the best.

Toru may have not been the top of her class or anything, but she knew simple science. And science proved electricity couldn't travel through rock, so after about three minutes of pounding on the ground with everything that she had, she was able to pull off a piece of it. Now she was using it as a makeshift club to beat the ever loving shit out of Kaminari.

"OW OW OW!" Regardless of how much he suffered for it. All was fair in the name of love. "Why..ARE..YOU..SO...BRUTAL!?"

"Because I need to meet Iruma-kun in the finals! You're just a stepping stone towards my goal!"

"You sound exactly like Bakugo!"

"And Bakugo is winning, isn't he!?" She shouted back, not letting up.

"Alright Alright, I surrender!" The boy shouted. "Jiro's never gonna let me live this down …"

"To be fair, she would've called you Jamming-whey the first chance she got."

"True."

"Denki Kaminari has conceded! The Winner is Toru Hagakure!" Midnight exclaimed. She won! She was one step closer to getting in the spotlight with Iruma-kun! Her dream has come into fruition! "I'd like to speak to you though, about your costume." Right, she was the second student in UA history that had to be naked to use their quirk.
