Chapter one : Rebirth
Why can't I see or feel anything
OH it's seems everything makes sense now,
It seems this darkness awakened me to the light
I never knew my existence was this complex, I guess it's time for me to tell my story, MY REAL STORY
I was once a monkey living deep in the forest, a monkey who knew nothing but to survive, eat and strive to continue the next generation but something changed on a certain, I was captured by these creatures I had never seen before. I later learned they were called humans
I was taken to a zoo, I became a source of entertainment for the humans
Although life was different I actually liked most part of this new life, thou they were a lot of disadvantages to this life of captivity i stil preferred it to the life in the forest where your life could end at any single point in time. Oh and there was a lot of free food (^_^)
I spent years in this zoo observing the humans, the humans suspected nothing, they didn't realize when you stare at the abyss, the abyss stares back
I learnt what they called a "language", it wasn't easy but I had motivation, whenever I acted according to what they said or replied to their questions with certain actions they reward me with delicious food I had never tasted before. I even learnt sign language.
I became one of the most famous zoo animal due to this.
Soo…. Oh yeah,
After some years I noticed less people came to visit me, I overheard from the conversation of the humans that it was due to certain irregularities and mutations happening around the world .
It seems some animals started getting stronger or Mutating, the situation caused wide spread panic but it only got worse when some humans started developing something they called "powers", I was intrigued but did nothing, I thought it had nothing to do with me.
After spending years with the humans I became fond of them even more than my fellow monkeys.
At some point I started hoping wondering if I could ever become a human .
Some months later the zoo had to close down due to the crisis happening in the world, all zoos around the world were ordered to close down and release every animal they had in captivity. I learnt it was because humans were scared, they were scared of the danger the animals possessed in the case of them mutating.
It was on this day I knew humans too felt fear
Luckily I was not released back into the wild who knew if I would survive if I was released.
I was taken as a pet by the owners of the zoo they were a young couple just married few years ago but were unable to produce a child.
They treated me like their own child, like thier family and I came to see them as mine.
Since being brought to the zoo until now, all I every knew was happiness, I assumed all humans where like my family and the nice people I met at the zoo I never knew I was wrong,
I was wrong to the point I found it funny how I had lived in ignorant bliss.
Humans began experimenting on animals to find the root cause of the changes happening to the earth, they made progress, significant progress.
They created drugs, energizers, and supplements that brought humans significant strength.
I was given a phone by my family
I saw the horrors of the internet, I saw horrific experiments done to the animals with no care for their life, but I understood the human could perform such brutal experiments on their own kind.
The humans discovered that it was a certain type of energy that was causing the changes and the energy came from the earth it self
This so called "energy" affected every single thing on the planet, metals became stronger and the human physic underwent changes.
And it so began
I learnt to speak, the day i spoke my first word my family were happy for me, they even cried, it was both funny and heartwarming
Until
They came, the government and researchers, they forced me away from my family, they tore apart the fragile family we had managed to build through the years
I was furious, angry but I could not do anything
I went through horrible experiment and pain
I was awake for ever single experiment and test they did. I was never administered any form of pain relief, they believed the extreme pain could awaken a new talent in me.
My parents cried and begged but no one helped they went online seeking support but no one answered
They were humiliated and trampled upon but they did not give up
They took huge amounts of money, millions, billions earned from when I was in the zoo, when that was not enough they applied for loans, they paid at least three news stations in every single country on the planet to publish their story, to seek help but no one answered they said it was for the good of the world, it was a sacrifice they were willing to make, hahahahahahaha the irony
You might wonder how I who was busy enduring unimaginable physical pain came to know of this
Well, they the humans, they showed me hahahahaha, they told me since physical couldn't make me awaken a new talent maybe emotional pain would hahahahhhaha
At that point the pain I felt surpassed every pain, every feeling, every emotion I had ever known or felt, the rage, the feeling of helpless of not being able to do anything, the inability to even apologize to them, to ask them why they would go so far for a monkey, the inability to even see them broke me, at that very moment every cell, every blood vessel, every fiber of my being felt rage, rage so vast it could engulf the world, my body felt like rage itself like the wrath I was struggling to contain
