"Is it a superpower?" Darius asked, his gaze roaming all over Fiona's gown. The thinness of the gown making it easier.
"Huh?"
"I asked if it's a superpower" He repeated, and Fiona made her face, not making sense of what he was spurting.
"I mean...you look filthy and scrawny, yet very much appetizing" He said, running his tongue over his lower lip, like she's some food he's about to devour.
Fiona's stomach churned at the comment, but she didn't say a word.
"Did the guard hit you?" He said, noticing the red bruise on the side of her face. It still looked fresh, so it shows that it's not from long ago.
"Answer me!" He yelled, her silence starting to get on his nerves.
She clamped her lips, refusing to reply his question and he smirked.
"Proving all stubborn, eh? You're a wimp, and we both know it. You've toughened up over the years, is that it?" He asked, using one finger to raise her chin up.
