"Mum, you're still not saying anything. Father must have taken such decision for a reason. He isn't someone to do something without cause," Leon said, and Elsa rolled her eyes.
"You didn't ask him while I was still confined. Now that he lifted the confinement orders, you're bugging me for explanation. You really care about your mother, don't you?" She asked, her tone laced with sarcasm.
"Mum, you see—" Leon raked his hair with his hands, looking for how to place his words. "I do care about you, mum. I really do. It's just...you scare me sometimes," he muttered, and Elsa's brows arched.
"For real mum. You and brother. You two always seem to be up to one thing or the other. You're never on Axel side. Both of you are just...I don't know how to put it, but most times I'd rather stay away from you both," He said, rubbing his palms together.
It's not something he would like to say to his mother's face, but she just needed to know how he feels.
