This man had completely lost his mind.
Absolutely, utterly insane. And here I thought the rumors about his cold, ruthless nature were bad enough. Apparently, people forgot to mention he was also certifiably crazy.
I shook my head and let my fork clatter against the plate. "So tell me, how long exactly have you been watching me?"
I waited for him to brush off my accusation. To claim he hadn't been following me around like some creep. But the longer he stayed silent, the more ice crept through my veins.
Because he wasn't denying it.
Not even a little.
Instead, his response was, "That's not what we need to focus on right now, Vivian."
I let out a bitter laugh. "If that's not important, then what exactly is?"
