Vivian's POV
If someone had predicted weeks ago that I would be sitting in a luxury vehicle beside my billionaire husband instead of walking down the aisle to marry who I believed was my soulmate, I would have questioned their sanity.
Yet here I was. This was my reality now.
Perhaps eventually I would lock myself away and drown in regret, analyzing every foolish decision that led me here, but not today.
Today I found myself in the backseat of an expensive black SUV that reeked of premium leather and old money, watching the world blur past through darkened windows as we headed toward the private airfield.
My hands wouldn't stay still in my lap, and occasionally my fingers would graze against the diamond band.
His ring.
The weight of it was impossible to ignore. The piece was stunning, substantial, definitely not something that would slip from memory.
