Chapter 1 - Huo Feng (火凤) Born of Flame

Do you hear that childlike laugh? It comes from up there… from the very heart of the Celestial Kingdom. The kingdom that floats among the clouds, its palaces shimmering with colors we humans have never seen. There, towers rise as if defying the heavens, brushing against stars no mortal eyes have ever witnessed.

Its inhabitants are eternal ...faces calm like a sorrowful full moon, eyes carrying countless memories and ancient wisdom, as if time itself had granted them the secret of immortality.

That is how you imagine them now…But I? I see them as soft marshmallow puffs, melting in the eyes before the heart.

The laugh echoes again… coming from that diamond palace. I think it came from Jin Hai's palace . I'd wager it came from the ring he cherished the most, the one where he kept his daughter, Huo Feng.

Is she an angel? No.She is not an angel, nor a demon. Not a shadow, nor a spirit. Not even human… not yet.

She was nothing more than a tiny whirl of wind, an incomplete breeze that had not yet taken human form ...a gentle wisp trapped inside a crystalline ring glowing with faint light, a ring that both protected her… and imprisoned her.

With every laugh, the crystal pulsed from within, as if it knew something great was awakening something called Huo Feng. Yet she remained confined between worlds… between reality and eternity, between light and shadow.

Her father, Jin Hai, protected her with every ounce of strength and cunning he possessed, for she was all he had left of his late wife. He wanted to hide her from the people of the Celestial Kingdom, so they wouldn't judge her as they had judged her mother… for one simple reason: her bloodline.

He feared the punishment she would face for belonging, even in part, to the Shadow Realm—her mother's home. Yes, he was a member of the Council of Elders, but even that would not be enough to save her. So he hid her within his ring, waiting for her destined moment . the moment of her awakening, her transformation into her human form.

Five hundred years passed as she slept within that ring… and he was ready to wait another five hundred, just to feel her presence again. But then, the unexpected happened…

She was swallowed by the Sacred Celestial Furnace, all because of a single mistake her father made in a critical moment. After that, she remembered no heat, no shape, no time. Only light—that gentle glow that once embraced her, the warmth of a hand she never knew, a heartbeat she never felt.

Then came the flames… The sacred furnace did not welcome her. It wanted to devour her-memories, weapons, souls…everything unworthy of eternity.

But she did not burn.

A crimson spell—wild, forbidden, ravenous wrapped itself around her fragile essence and fused with her. It became part of her…no, it became her.

The deadly fire reached her, but she did not know death yet… so she consumed it.

A year… a century… five hundred years.Ancient relics turned to ash, weapons shattered, seals faded— but she copied everything, without understanding, without choice, only… endless growth.

Until the day the furnace opened and she fell into the world below. A girl with hair white as ash, eyes innocent to the point of naivety, and a heart that had never known its own beat.

She did not know her name. She did not know her fate. But every spark inside her was capable of setting the sky ablaze. And yet… she smiled. Because even in a world of fire and ruin, even in a body that had never truly lived, she was alive.

And life—even when it is wild, unexpected, and unwelcome is the most dangerous and precious thing of all.

So…how did all of this happen, you ask?
