"I-I admit defeat..."
Soon, after countless minutes fighting with each other; Yoichi's hoarse voice reverberated. Slumping down to the ground, Yoichi felt truly exhausted from both mind and body. Even his lips and mouth were cracked, drying from over a relentless time of fighting with no apparent results.
Therefore, he thought it would be a great idea to lose in aloof child's caliber. At the very least, Yoichi fought with mindfulness to not casually reveal his true strength and was still capable of injuring the aloof child, partly revealing subtle Martial Arts techniques in discretion and self-restraint.
If it were a life-or-death battle between them, the outcome remained unknown as the two of them hadn't revealed their real capability in a spar.
On the other hand, the aloof child finally considered himself the winner. However, he also has multiple amounts of injuries, swelling primarily in his muscles as if he hadn't been practicing all year long.
"Very good! You two did well! I knew you two had something in common. But Yoichi... Refrain from overexerting yourself when practicing your Taijutsu. I'm not trying to meddle with your progress but it is better to seek some other ways to improve, do you understand?" Kohaku remarked in a gentle tone. At this point, Kohaku understood Yoichi's vigorous and persistent spirit at a glance.
Aside from that, he wanted the best for Yoichi as a clan leader. Even if the child hadn't listened to his meaningful advice, Kohaku offered his suggestion in a caring manner instead of a demanding way.
Yoichi unconsciously nodded, admitting his clan leader's guidance with awareness in his mind. As a child with the wisdom of a man, rather than brushing the advice aside; it would be reasonable for him to be attentive and understand different perspectives.
It's not that he wouldn't pay attention to their sayings but with his path of Martial Arts and the extreme benefits he gained from his system, his future was intricately laid out as if a red velvet carpet tailored for him to be stepped on along with the future successors of the Martial Arts path.
Age... Combat experience... This feeling is indeed a humbling experience.
During the fight, Yoichi felt there were certain scenarios in which he could immediately perish or be seriously injured if the scenario were in real time. Luckily, the test consists of only Taijutsu and nothing more, or else he could definitely be in a world of hurt.
Seeing Yoichi's absent-minded expression, Kohaku shook his head and said, "Escort Yoichi back to his settlement and let him take a rest for the remainder of the day. This concludes here."
With the matter out of the way, Kohaku and his subordinates along with the aloof child took a last glance before strutting within the Uchiha Compound.
In the middle of the pack, Kohaku caught a sight of the aloof child in the corner of his eyes and said, "So what do you think about him?"
"Sir, I've never seen a child as tenacious as he was. If not for his current constitution and experience, perhaps the battle might go in his favor."
After the aloof child stated the obvious facts, Kohaku slightly nodded and declared, "Good to hear your opinion on him. Remember to keep training, this world doesn't lack geniuses after all. Anyways, you're dismissed. I must take a look at my son's condition."
Therefore, Kohaku and his subordinates took a shortcut back into his sleeping quarters and left the aloof child on his own. In his defense, Kohaku was excited to visit his son Fugaku, who was only 3 months old.
As usual, the clan of love and hatred.
Conversely, Yoichi crossed his arms while walking back to his temporary house, appearing deeply into his contemplative state.
"That child might be a Chūnin... I believe that with his experience and knowledge, it's likely to be valid." After being escorted back into his house, Yoichi felt refreshed as his passive skills were continuously healing him, changing his clothes, and cooking some meals for him to ravenously consume.

*Bang!*
In a thoughtful reflection, Yoichi was then interrupted by a familiar figure.
"Mother! Do you want something to eat? I have a lot of meals available for you!" With such excitement, Yoichi's heart once again felt fulfilled.
"Come on, let's go!" In a hurry, Naoko frowned and grabbed Yoichi's wrist tightly, dragging her son back into the Uchiha Compound in a moment.
"Mother, where are we going?" At this point, Yoichi felt an unusual behavior coming from his mother.
"We are going to Masanori's mother and apologize, do you understand?" Naoko reprimanded her son with a tinge of anger in her voice.
"Did I hear that right? Apologize to her mother? Isn't he the one who made the scene?" Yoichi forcefully pulled back, looking at her mother's distressed state with concern in his eyes.
"It's because you knocked him out cold to the ground! You must apologize deeply, do you hear me?" Naoko rebuked once more with a stern expression on her face.
Therefore, Yoichi nodded and lowered his head in compliance yet his mind couldn't feel the peace whenever he was with her mother.
Seriously, what the hell is going on with my body? It felt like someone was in control as if my former owner of the body controlled my mind... Is this probably a result of my Sharingan?
Unable to form a conclusion, Yoichi and Naoko soon reached the house of Masanori's family, knocking on the door without any haste.
"Good afternoon, Elder Setsuna! My son and I would like to apologize for my son's misdemeanor and my carelessness in teaching my child a lesson. Please, forgive us!"
With a polite yet embarrassed expression, Naoko bowed deeply and strongly pushed her son's head to bow as a way to apologize.
"It's fine now. On behalf of my family, I also wanted to express my apologies for this matter. You should be pleased with your talented son."
Looking at Yoichi's fiery eyes, Elder Setsuna understood the situation as an old man. The child was forced by his mother to apologize for a trivial matter even though they were the ones who incited the fight to begin with. In honesty, Naoko's behavior was truly commendable but the conflict between the two kids wasn't that profound and serious.
"Thank you so much for your forgiveness, Elder Setsuna. Yoichi! Give the elder a respectful bow." Once again, Naoko scolded her son with disappointment in her eyes.
"Elder Setsuna... Thank you for your grace." As Yoichi said those words, a pang of guilt and perplexity soon clouded his mind.
"Well then, we'll take our leave. Once again, I'm sorry for our offense as a family." Therefore, Naoko returned to the temporary house with Yoichi in tow, now loosening her tight grip on her son's wrist.
"Mother, why did we apologize for?" Yoichi tilted his head, extremely curious about his mother's thought process.
"Hoooohhh... I'm worried that they will be angry at us so I made a few concessions." Rubbing her son's cheeks, Naoko couldn't help but feel conflicted inside of her. This distinctive feeling within her stemmed from her tragic past as well as its remembrance that she didn't want to remember.
"That's in the past now, Mother. Anyway, do—"
"No, I must cook some food for Nobuyuki and Akira in the meantime. Just stay here for a while, okay?"
At first, Yoichi felt happy and was swimming in delight until Naoko departed from the house with her words of consolation. Then, he merely found himself desolate and lonely once again, unable to suppress the inner agitation in his heart.
Is there truly something wrong with me?
In his careful reflection, the possibilities and other speculations in his mind swirled before he shook his head, deciding to practice martial arts amidst the complicated emotions spilling outward.
