Chapter 66 - Chapter 65: Drama, Endless Brawl

In the depths of Uchiha Compound.

"Sir, there's a new message conveyed concerning our newest child, Yoichi, and Elder Setsuna's grandson, Masanori."

In the office room filled with intricate and sophisticated ornaments, Kohaku tentatively poured some tea into his teacup and elegantly savored the taste of his tea with both hands.

"Go on..." Actively listening to the intel, Kohaku took some small sips and felt relaxed, glancing at his assistant.

"In this altercation, Masanori instigated Yoichi and he executed our signature shurikenjutsu with mastery. However, in just a few moments of dodging those shurikens; Yoichi knocked out Masanori in a single punch, resulting in his unconscious state."

Upon hearing his subordinate's statement, Kohaku's face lit up for a while until he set down the teacup and said, "Taijutsu? Probably... Call the child immediately. I have something to talk about this unusual technique that he has..."

In his mind, Elder Setsuna's grandson was brash and over-the-top when it came to the people around him. In honesty, Kohaku considered this meaningless fight a wake-up call for Masanori since he was acting a little bit overwhelming against his peers.

Yoichi, on the other hand felt like a mysterious seedling with seemingly numerous experiences in fighting and extreme in his revolutionary practice.

Both of them might be a good option. However, it seems like Yoichi was still vehemently concentrated on Taijutsu.

I should be able to remind him that Ninjutsu shall be his future, not that barbaric and risky techniques...

Soon, the subordinate left as quickly as he came in with urgent demands for his clan head while Kohaku took his teacup and enjoyed the sunlight in his office.

In the nursing room.

"What an uncivilized brute! This kid looks wrecked from just a punch."

"Perhaps the rumors were true. That the bastard son of Naoko has some Kumogakure blood on him..."

"Hey, don't say that! Naoko is here!"

Upon hearing it loud outside, Naoko clenched her fist so much that even a drop of blood dripped onto the ground.

What trouble has the kid gotten into this time?!

Suppressing the inner turmoil in her heart, Naoko reached the room as the crowd fell silent due to her sudden arrival. Then, she glanced at the child, who had a deep purple bruise in his cheek and had lost some teeth as a result of their confrontation.

"Did you see it now, Naoko? Look at what your child did to my good boy! He's still in an unconscious state because of your savage bastard child!" Therefore, Mother of Masanori cried out and angrily seethed in rage.

Who in the hell would want their child to be in this precarious situation?

"I'm very sorry for my son's thuggish behavior..." Naoko bowed in 90° and bit her lips, truly embarrassed by her son's brutish actions.

"Naoko, stop that!" At his arrival, Nobuyuki straightened his wife's posture and shouted in his voice.

"... Our son didn't do anything wrong! In fact, it's your son who initiated this damn whole thing!" Nobuyuki pointed his finger at Masanori's mother and draped his arm over Naoko, consoling his wife's uneasiness.

"Yes! I admit that my son incited this fight, but your bastard son's atrocious action rendered my son in a senseless state! If something bad happened to my son, I'll make your family pay the price!"

As the mother wept uncontrollably, her words became like daggers and threatened them in her sheer despair over his son's unknown condition.

*Smack!*

"That's enough!" With a dominance in his words, Elder Setsuna strutted forward and delivered a slap into Masanori's mother, feeling a little bit disappointed by his family's ruckus.

From Elder Setsuna's perspective, only the strong reigned supreme in this world. If his grandson felt defeated by this little setback, then Masanori doesn't deserve any of the fame or reputation the Uchiha Clan has.

Apart from that, Yoichi's display of excellence could be considered another gain for his clan. So how can he be angry at someone in his clan just because of this meaningless fight between the children?

"But Father—"

"Enough already! Look around you! Look! You are staining our clan's prestige by your inappropriate conduct." Elder Setsuna retaliated in his pitching voice, exasperated before he turned into Nobuyuki and Naoko.

"This is the end of this farce. If I ever hear somebody running around their mouths in public, I'll punish them with my own hands!"

Laced with thick murderous intent, Elder Setsuna huffed and walked slowly out of the room amidst the crowd, who were quivering in fear.

"What are you all waiting for? Get back to work!" With that being said, the crowd dissipated sooner while their thoughts and speculations swirled constantly in their minds.

"Can you rest up for a bit? You look pale..." Nobuyuki couldn't help but worry about Naoko's dazed expression.

Meanwhile, Naoko became befuddled. Each word of the mother earlier resounded in her mind, prickling her heart in grief and anger.

"Come on, I'll help you get some fresh air." Soon, Nobuyuki and Naoko went outside the nurse's building. But Naoko's eyes were still emotional as she thought of Yoichi in a second.

I'll teach that brat a lesson!

Back within the Uchiha Compound.

"I called you here because I wanted to witness your capability in Taijutsu," Kohaku said, sitting on the wooden floor with eyes focused on Yoichi.

After his recent quarrel, Yoichi was recalled to the Uchiha Compound without any prior knowledge of its purpose. Currently, Yoichi has learned the objective and thought it would be a great demonstration for him to display his talents in the eyes of the higher-ups.

On the opposing side, he noticed a 12-year-old Uchiha Member dressed in a vest with an emotionless expression on his face.

With his careful observation, he felt a dangerous ambiance emanate from the opponent as Yoichi readied himself for a potential hard fight.

"So without further ado, let's begin."

So fast!

As Kohaku announced his words, the Uchiha Member rushed in an instant, appearing right in front of Yoichi within a second. Then, as soon as the aloof child moved forward; he raised his knee and extended his foot, executing a front kick toward Yoichi.

However, in the face of danger, Yoichi twisted his waist sideways and avoided the momentous kick. Later, he employed his right arm and locked the foot in his armpit, clamping like a vice.

Still, the aloof child prevented the deadlock by jumping with one foot and delivering an extraordinary roundhouse kick to the head which Yoichi promptly evaded ahead of time.

After the cold child retreated, Yoichi became swift in his retaliation. In his savage charge, he stepped forward and arched his arm backward, punching through the retreating figure of the aloof child.

But with excellent perception, the cold child crouched downward and performed a sweep kick, forcefully knocking Yoichi out of his position.

In such an advantageous spot, the cold child took the opportunity and pinned Yoichi to the ground. Yet, the persistent mind of Yoichi fought back, breaking the lock with his knee going forward, slamming the child out of his top position.

"This might take a long time..."

Looking at the haggard faces of the two, Kohaku sipped a tea and watched the two combatants along with his subordinates behind him.

"Kohaku-sama, who do you think would win this fight?" Watching the Taijutsu brawl between the two children, Kohaku's subordinate couldn't help but ask his superior.

"Whoever wins this fight is totally fine for me... We have some outstanding children at the end of the fight so winning doesn't matter in this case."

Gladly answering his subordinate's doubts, Kohaku saw great potential between the two fighters and enjoyed the scene like it were a cinematic fight.
